Playing With Fire: Shizune Uehara (D) vs Courtney Maxie (D)

Shizune felt her air supply dwindling as she desperately flailed her legs around looking for the ropes. The more she struggled, the closer she got to passing out. Yet by some miracle, she felt her foot brush against the bottom rope which allowed her to hook her foot on it to force the rope break. After some prodding by the referee, Courtney released her from the head scissors. Shizune was still in this match, for now at least.

But while she might have still been in the match, she wasn't out of the woods yet. While Shizune lay gasping for air, Courtney was quick to go back on the attack. The so-called convict kicked Shizune in the back while she was down and pulled her away from the ropes. After rolling Shizune onto her stomach, Courtney stepped between her opponent's legs and wrapped them around her own leg before leaning back to apply the sharpshooter, causing Shizune to cry out in pain as the pressure was applied to her lower back.

"I have...a bad habit. Of repeating...the same moves or type of moves." She told Shizune. She goes to put more pressure on her

Courtney wasn't gonna stop. Shizune only hopenis that Courtney decied to stop, she taps out or escapes. Those are the only options.

"You know... i think I may actually like to best up cute girls like you. Cute girls don't last ling in prison... if they don't toughen up.. She told her. She does like the feeling of dominating her.

Shizune barely registered her opponent's words. She was far more preoccupied with the pain shooting through her lower back. Saying that her situation hadn't improved would be an understatement. She had escaped one submission hold only to be put into another shortly after. Out of the frying pan and into the fire it seemed. Rather fitting considering her opponent.

But despite the pain, Shizune wasn't ready to throw in the towel just yet. She escaped one submission hold before and she could do it again. Gritting her teeth and fighting through the pain, Shizune began to claw her way towards the ropes.

"Argh! You won't...break me...that easily!"

She felt her breaking away. Well crawling away. She went to try to make her go futher away from the ropes. She was gonna make it hard for her.

"Well i...will make it easy. This is... my submission signature." She told her out right. She didn't care really.

She add more pressure to her. If she is actually gonna escape she might as well do the most damage to her as possible. She didn't do her body but she hopes thag this evens things out.

Shizune was making steady progress towards the ropes despite the pain. For a moment, it seemed like she would be able escape the sharpshooter without too much trouble.

But of course, Courtney wasn’t going to make it easy for her. Just as Shizune was about to be within reach of the ropes, Courtney cranked up the pressure.

“Gaaaaahhhh!” With her lower back in even more pain than before, Shizune’s eyes began to tear up. She was very tempted to give up right there. But she resisted the urge to do so and continued to crawl to the ropes. After what seemed like an eternity, she finally managed to get her hand on the bottom rope.

Courtney felt her fighting back. She trys to pull her away bit she really desperate. Instead of fighting back she let's her crawl and grab into the bottom rope.

HOWEVER while Shizune was trying to go get the bottom rope. She made sure that she turned her so she would crawl near a turn buckle. She has a plan to finsh her off.

She would go after realizing her to the closest turnbuckle snd climb up to the tope. Courtney knows or at tye cery least figures that she to weak to fight back. Which is good for her. She turns around and jumps from the top rope to do her finsher LAVA PLUME



If that move was successful she would hurry up to pin Shizune. She dodut she can fight back well. Especially of how much damage and how much of a struggle things have been for her. She pins her by doing a folding pin. "Thanks for my... first steps toeard freedom." She told Shizune.

Shizune wanted to breathe a sigh of relief upon reaching the ropes, but she was too sore to do so. Even though Courtney was forced to release the hold, the damage had already been done. As Shizune lay prone on the mat, Courtney was setting up her next move.

Courtney was quick to climb the nearest turnbuckle. Shizune had the feeling that her opponent was planning something big and that if she hit it, it would spell the end for her. She urged herself to move, to do something before it was too late, but her body was not willing to comply.

When Shizune saw her opponent leap off the top rope, time seemingly slowed down. She desperately willed her body to move as Courtney’s body grew closer. It seemed like the fall of Courtney’s body onto hers was imminent. But at the very last second Shizune moved out of the way. Whether it was a conscious move or her body moved by instinct, she couldn’t tell. But the important thing was that Shizune was no longer in the drop zone and Courtney would come crashing down on the mat, buying Shizune a few more precious seconds to recover.

"Aaaaah!" Courtney shouted. She miss her finsher and feel on the floor. She rolls around a bit in pain. How did she do that. She mess her up badly. She could tell. Was she holding back!?

She can't stay down for long or else Shizune is gonna make her pay. She slowly got up from the ground. She goes to stare that the purple outfit and hair girl. Her eyes spoke of evil. They want to see how a criminal can be like? Fine she will show them.

She falls back down with her head facing in Shizune direction. She will be able to rest better while keeping an eye on her. In truth she was just playing possum. She will show them a heel.

If Shizune had been one second slower, she likely would’ve been down for the count after getting hit with the full impact of her opponent’s move. But she managed to avoid it which left Courtney feeling the impact of her own move. It bought her some time, but that time would soon run out. She needed to capitalize on her opponent’s vulnerability while she still had the chance.

Shizune dug deep inside of her to find the energy to stand. Despite her body’s protests, she managed to get back to her feet. She approached Courtney and began stomping on her leg, both to get some payback from earlier and to hopefully hamper her ability to climb to the top rope again. After that, she grabbed Courtney by the wrist and pulled her up so she could toss her into the corner where Shizune would attempt to drop kick her.

Courtney was about counter until Shizune got to attack her friet before she responded. She stomp on both of her legs. Courtney legs where getting battered by this assault. She has to fight threw the pain.

She got lifted up by Shizune. Then went and go Irish whip to a corner. That is where she rested. Then before ahe can fully react Shizune did a drop kick onto Courtney body. It was a direct hit to her body.

She was able to grab and hang onto the ropes so she doesn't fall down. She made her get up. She repositioned her body and this time she won't mess up. She will counter her she thought.
