Asuna Fujino vs. Megumi Mutoh

[Satoshi]

Megumi was tougher than Asuna gave her credit for however and she powered through the armbar. With just her legs over the other wrestler's body, Asuna was powerless to stop the girl from picking up speed by rocking around, finally rolling up Asuna into a pinfall attempt even as she still had Megumi's arm captured. The ref slid in and started counting "One!"

Asuna let go of Megumi's arm as she would kick her legs up with a grunt to get out of the pin and push Megumi away from her. If she succeeded in getting free she would try to get onto her knees and lock up with Megumi before the girl got a chance to stand up, trying to keep this fight on the ground. This time she was silent, focused on the fight.

[Arjuna]

While Megumi managed to get the pinfall going, Asuna managed to break it right after two, and Megumi was released from the armbar. Shaking her head, Megumi would try to recover as soon as she was released, but Asuna immediately tried to close in for a grapple, and Megumi was pushed back by her opponent while she was still on her knees.

"Nghh!!" In desperation, Megumi would let herself fall onto her back. In a quick motion, the former Wrestle Angel would try to get herself on her back, bringing her feet up onto Asuna's torso, looking to throw her opponent back with a monkey flip, giving herself a little space to recover and get her mind back into the match.

After breaking the pinfall Asuna immediately pushed on Megumi, working to stay close and grapple the girl down. Her attack seemed to be working as Megumi was pushed back to the mat, as Asuna went on to get on top of her. However, as she was doing that, Megumi's feet pushed into her stomach as the girl pulled her forward while kicking up with her legs, flipping Asuna up and over her body with a monkey flip.

"Aaah" Asuna yelled as she suddenly flew into the air and then crash landed on the mat. She stayed on her back for some time, panting as she recovered from the hit she suffered. Once she got her breath back she would look behind her to look at Megumi. If the girl got to her feet, Asuna would follow suit ready to fight again, but if she stayed down, Asuna would move in to grapple, this time more cautious and not immediately trying to topple her.

Right after flipping Asuna over with the monkey flip, Megumi would quickly get herself on her knees before getting back up on her feet. She looked at Asuna, but she didn't attack right away as she waited for her to get back up as well. Once her opponent was on her feet, Megumi would prepare herself for another grapple with her, and she would charge towards her, looking to lock up with her.

But, it was just merely a feint as she would attempt to fake Asuna out, slipping to her back as she would try to bring both her hands to her chin from behind, clasping them together as she would try to wrench her head back with a chin lock. She would also try to bring Asuna down to her knees by pushing at the back of her knee with her own knee, giving herself more advantage over her opponent.

After getting thwarted with a monkey flip Asuna got back on her feet, and slowly moved in close to Megumi. Before long the two girls ended up in a grapple, pushing against each other once more. Megumi however, didn't want this to last and she slipped free of Asuna's grasp, moving behind the girl to trap her chin. Then her knee pressed against Asuna's.

Asuna, however, couldn't let Megumi get another hold of her. She stepped forward to get away from Megumi's knee pressing into her. Then both her hands grasped Megumi's arm on her chin. She would then quickly lean forward, trying to either throw Megumi over her head or at least hoisting the girl onto her back. If she managed to throw her Asuna would then jump onto her foe, sending her knee into Megumi's gut. If she only hoisted her, she would jump back to almost the same purpose, to slam Megumi into the mat below her.

When she thought that she almost got her opponent, Megumi ended up being thrown over Asuna's head before she could even try wrenching her head some more, and she ended up landing on her back. "Ughh!!" She winced. Slightly winded, Megumi would try to get back up, but before she could do that, she saw Asuna jumping onto her, sending her knee into her belly, expelling some air out of her lungs. "Pughhhh!!!" Her eyes widened as she took the knee.

Cradling her belly, she was unable to stop Asuna from doing her next move, and she ended up being slammed again into the mat. Groaning in pain, she writhed on the mat, brow scrunched up as she tried to overcome the pain that was wracking her body at the moment.

Asuna managed to get out of a tight situation, throwing Megumi over herself and then slamming her into the mat with her knee, she successfully had her stunned. The fight did take its strain on Asuna too however and she paused for as second, panting to regain her breath, possibly giving a chance for Megumi to do the same before moving on.

Once she caught her breath, Asuna would try to grab one of Megumi's feet while standing up, to place it between her own legs and turn around, trying to force Megumi into a painful spinning toe hold, where she would bend her knee as far as she could. If at any point she failed to lock on the hold she would just try to keep Megumi on the ground, even by just a simple pin if necessary.

Asuna didn't immediately keep up with her assault, allowing Megumi to recover for a bit. After that, Asuna went to grab one of her feet, placing it between hers as she then put her in a spinning toe hold. Megumi's eyes widened as she was put in the hold, and she let out a cry of pain as she started feeling pressure on her leg. "Aaaahhhh!!!"

In desperation, the former Wrestle Angel would try to crawl towards the nearest ropes, hoping to secure herself a release from the hold. Still, with her being exhausted, reaching for the bottom rope for a rope break seemed to be a very difficult thing to accomplish. "Nngghhhhh... gaaahhhhh!!" Still, she forced herself to move, ignoring the pain.

Asuna's small pause wasn't enough for Megumi to recover and put on real resistance allowing her to capture the wrestler's leg in a spinning toe hold, yanking it as far as she could, putting Megumi in considerable pain. And also hopefully, making her weaker on her feet. Megumi, of course, wasn't giving in and she would slowly start crawling forward. The hold was too valuable for Asuna to let up so instead, she put all in before Megumi reached the ropes.

Finally, as the girl got her hand on the rope, Asuna would let go, dropping Megumi's leg on the ground, standing back and giving her just enough place to stand up. As soon as Megumi stood up by the ropes she would try to move in to grapple up with the girl, or wrap her arms around and drag her back to the middle of the ring.

After an agonizing moment, Megumi finally reached the ropes, and she would grab the bottom rope tightly like a lifeline, giving it a slight shake, signalling to her opponent that she got herself a rope break. Asuna released her from the hold, and the former Wrestle Angel panted, feeling sore on her leg after having to endure the hold from her opponent. With a grunt, she would use the ropes to pull herself back up, and she leaned against the ropes as she slowly recovered.

"Gah... uhhhh..." Still, her leg still felt the effect from the hold earlier, and as she released the ropes, she had to hobble herself away from them before she tried to keep herself on her feet. Despite this, she would look at Asuna and prepared herself to take her on, getting into a stance despite her hurting leg. Suffering a handicap at the moment, her movement would be limited, and she needed to be careful from here on out.
