[#1 Contender Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs Yumie Hayashi - Some you win and some you lose

Finding herself in a difficult situation, Charlotte clearly understood that she needed free space. She wasn't an idiot and wasn't going to try to compete in physical strength with her opponent, so she didn't have to push Yumie to the opposite corner. All she needed was to push the white-haired woman back hard once.

But Yumie was ready for this, and as soon as the Sand Lizard tried to push her, she immediately jumped up, pressing her feet against Charlotte's bare stomach. The Japanese woman leaned back, pulling the martial arts master with her, and as soon as her back touched the mat, she immediately straightened both legs using them as a spring.

“Gaahh!!”

The pink-haired woman had no chance to avoid it, her body turned over in the air, and then she fell hard onto the mat. Yes, it might not have been the most painful throw, but it certainly slowed down the pace of the Sand Lizard. Her body continued to be filled with pain, and she was at a disadvantage again because Yumie was right behind her.

With heavy breathing, Charlotte forced herself to put her palms on the mat to push off and get to her feet. In order to be able to defend herself, she intended to turn around to face her opponent as quickly as possible, hoping that she would make it in time.

Yumie was starting to build up steam as she managed to send her opponent crashing down to the canvas with a monkey flip. "Come on Yumie don't let up!" Kimiko shouted as she rose up from her seat to encourage her friend. Yumie knew she had to keep working her opponent over, like the woman had done to her.

Getting back to her feet, she turned her head and saw Charlotte attempting to do the same, she knew she couldn't let Charlotte off the hook so easily. Walking over to the woman, Yumie would attempt to use her boot to force the woman back down and flat onto her stomach before reaching down to grab her right leg.

If Successful Yumie would trap Charlotte's leg between her own before lowering herself down on top of her. The Japanese woman's hands would then quickly reach around the woman's face before locking in place and pulling back trapping the pink haired martial artist in a painful STF hold, not unlike the crossface hold she had been subjected to earlier in the match.

Charlotte was well aware that losing the pace could play tricks on her, so she hurried to rectify the situation and get to her feet. Unfortunately, her opponent was a second ahead of her. Before the Frenchwoman could turn over, Yumie stepped on her and pinned her to the mat. Gritting her teeth, the Sand Lizard tried to swing her arm to strike her opponent's legs, but the white-haired woman deftly flipped her onto her stomach.

And before the martial artist could do anything, Yumie blocked Charlotte's right leg, then lay down on the Frenchwoman's back. At that moment, the Sand Lizard guessed what was going to happen next. But although she tried to stop the Japanese woman, Yumie successfully joined her hands on Charlotte's face. Yumie began to pull back the upper body of the Sand Lizard, filling her muscles and joints with pain, not to mention the burning pain on her face.

“Aaaaaahhhh!!!”

Instinctively, the pink-haired woman grabbed onto her opponent's wrists, thereby trying to loosen her grip. However, even though she could use both hands for that, it quickly became clear that she would not be able to break the hold in this way, because even though she was strong enough, her pure physical strength was definitely not as outstanding as her opponent's.

“Charlotte, you give up?”

Seeing that she was trapped, the referee hurried to do her job by asking an unpleasant but fair question. The Frenchwoman's right palm involuntarily straightened as if she was going to tap because the pain she was experiencing was really wild. But then she clenched that palm into a fist.

“No!” She replied through painful groans.

Damn. The ropes weren't close, but at least she had three limbs to reach them. Using her forearms as a fulcrum and her left leg as a driving force, Charlotte began to crawl forward like a soldier under artillery fire. Puffing and snuffling, she started to move forward inch by inch, hoping to grab the bottom rope.

Yumie knew she couldn't give Charlotte any time to rest, she needed to keep the woman constantly on the backfoot, constantly working her over in some way whether it was a slam or a submission like the one she currently had the sand lizard trapped in! The Japanese woman was in control now, stretching and bending her opponent's body while limiting her movement was much as the hold allowed her to!

Yumie flicked her head quickly to the right to get her own hair out of her face as Charlotte grabbed at her hands trying to free herself from the hold with brute force to no avail. "Just give up already!" Yumie thought to herself as she maintained the hold and the referee checked to see if her opponent was tapping. Yumie took a deep breath hearing her opponent's answer, one way or another she was determined to win this match!

As Charlotte began to slowly crawl forward, dragging Yumie's weight along with her Yumie sighed. "You sure!?" Yumie would ask the woman before pulling backwards even harder than before, straining her opponent's body further and no doubt increasing the pain the pink haired woman was feeling, trying to get the woman to tap out before she reached the ropes!

The path to the ropes seemed insurmountable at that moment for the pink-haired woman. However, as a real fighter, she simply had no right to give up, so, without holding back painful groans, Charlotte slowly but surely continued to approach the ropes.

However, her rival didn't like it very much, who in a mocking manner asked the Sand Lizard if she really didn't want to give up. After that, Yumie began to pull Charlotte's upper body back even harder, bringing the pain in the Frenchwoman's body to true agony.

“Uuummaaahh!!!”

As a fighter, Charlotte knew well that you can't win every fight. However, her code required her to fight to the very end, especially considering that today it wasn't just about her. Today, she wasn't fighting for herself, but for her friend, who trusted her. Charlotte, who had never known love or friendship before in her life, was ready to do anything to justify the trust placed in her.

“GGGRRHHHH!!!!”

Gritting her teeth, she took another rush forward, as a result of which she managed to touch the bottom rope with her fingertips. Damn. She was in so much pain that even the thought of making another move made her uncomfortable. But instead of letting it stop her, the Frenchwoman pushed off the mat one last time, thanks to which she managed to grab the bottom rope.

“Rope break!” The referee said loudly and clearly.

Yumie was perfectly fine with ending this match here and now with Charlotte submitting to her cross face submission hold and the Japanese woman wasn't going to take a simple no for an answer as she kept the hold locked in pulling back even harder than before causing her opponent to cry out in pain even louder!

"Come on Charlotte... just give up, and I'll let you go" Yumie said trying to bargain with the woman, trying to force the thought of submission and hesitation into her head. Despite the pain though the woman kept pushing forward, inch by agonizing inch, closer and closer to the ropes. "Yumie the ropes!" Kimiko shouted from outside the ring as Charlotte reached for the ropes, Yumie's eyes immediately focusing on the woman's hand as she surged forward one more time managing to grab it.

Yumie took a deep breath, annoyed, but a bit impressed at the same time as Charlotte proved to be quite the resilient fighter. Quickly released her opponent's head, Yumie rose to her feet, and walked back towards the center of the ring, giving Kimiko a reassuring wink before turning back around to focus on her opponent, ready to continue the match the moment the woman got back to her feet.

It definitely wasn't easy, and Yumie clearly wasn't going to let Charlotte go. With her words she tried to get into the Frenchwoman's head. Those words were like poison, causing her even more pain. But the Sand Lizard knew that a true fighter should never take the easy way out. She was a real fighter, and so instead of succumbing to her opponent's persuasions, she made a final dash forward and grabbed the bottom rope.

To the white-haired woman's credit, she did not continue to keep the martial arts master in the hold. Relaxing her arms and legs, she released Charlotte. Moreover, showing nobility, she retreated to the center of the ring, thereby giving the Sand Lizard the opportunity to get to her feet.

Trying to breathe as deeply and evenly as possible, Charlotte pushed off the mat and got up on one knee. Even though the torture was over, she still felt residual pain, plus she felt incredible tension in almost every muscle of her upper body. It became obvious to her that if the match continued in the same spirit, she would lose.

Taking another deep breath, she got to her feet. She nodded briefly to her opponent, thereby expressing respect for her sports behavior, after which the pink-haired woman took her fighting stance.

“I shouldn't make any more mistakes...” she told herself mentally.

The Sand Lizard rushed forward, rapidly closing the distance between them. When there were no more than a few steps between them she abruptly shifted her weight to her left leg, while simultaneously throwing her right leg up to send a roundhouse kick to Yumie’s head.

However, she wasn't going to stop there, now she knew her opponent's skills better, and so if Yumie tried to dodge her kick, as soon as her foot touched the mat, she would immediately spin around her axis and throw her left leg forward in an attempt to send a spinning side kick into her opponent's stomach.

Yumie wanted this match to end sooner rather than later. She didn't know much about Charlotte, things like how much stamina the woman had compared to her were a mystery, and the Japanese woman didn't want to risk anything, especially with a shot at LAW's most prestigious title on the line! Yumie paced back and forth as Charlotte slowly recovered and rose to one knee. Yumie was starting to wish she had put Charlotte through some additional pain so she didn't get up as quickly.

"She isn't getting away this time" Yumie thought to herself as her opponent nodded at her, Yumie seemed locked in now, looking the woman in the eyes before both women charged forward, Yumie raising her fist before quickly dropping low to avoid the woman's kick towards her head, The long haired woman may have managed to dodge one kick, but as she popped back up, ready to swing her fist for Charlotte's jaw only for the woman's foot to slam into her stomach.

"Gahhh" Yumie let out a loud pained grunt as saliva flew from her mouth as she lost balance and fell backwards onto her back, but quickly sat up and cradled her stomach, seeming stunned with the air knocked out of her lungs.

Charlotte would have preferred to rest for at least half a minute longer. Perhaps she could have done it by getting to her feet more slowly than she did. However, her code did not allow her to abuse the opportunity that her rival had given her. Yumie allowed her to get to her feet unhindered, and therefore the Sand Lizard had no right to delay this.

The moment she rushed towards her opponent, she felt the effects of the submission hold in all its glory. However, the responsibility on her shoulders was far more important than the pain. She has to give more than one hundred percent in this match. Not only because of her best friend, who trusted her, but also because Charlotte was predicted to have a great future and she had no desire to lose everything she had been striving for for so long.

Attacking Yumie with a kick, the Frenchwoman failed. The white-haired woman decided to take advantage of this, but she did not expect that Charlotte had something else in store for this case. After a failed kick, the Sand Lizard used her one, which hit the exact target. Her foot slammed into her opponent's stomach like a cannonball.

Saliva flew out of Yumie's mouth, proving the power of the pink-haired woman's legs. Yumie collapsed on her back, but after a moment she took a sitting position, hugging her stomach. At that moment, the Sand Lizard's eyes flashed. If her opponent had stayed on her feet, she would have used something like a snapmare throw to get Yumie in a sitting position, but the Japanese woman did that part of the work for Charlotte, so…

“Puuuuuuh...” with a whistling inhale, Charlotte rushed to the ropes.

Accelerating with each step, she intended to turn around at the last moment in order to fall back on the ropes and bounce off them. Gaining even more speed, she rushed towards her opponent like a pink lightning bolt. Her gaze was focused and there was determination in them, Charlotte was going to justify the hopes placed on her.

Using all the speed she gained, the Sand Lizard intended to push off the mat with force, while leaning back and bending both legs at the knees. Sparing no effort, she was going to straighten both her legs as sharply as possible in order to hit Yumie in the face with two feet at once with a shotgun dropkick!

As Yumie sat up, only one thought graced her mind."Fuck The long haired woman's eyes clenched shut as she tried to calm her body and soothe the pain in her core after Charlotte's near superhuman kick took her off her feet! Kimiko, meanwhile, watched it all unfold, sympathetically wincing as she watched her friend's opponent's foot slam into her stomach. "Come on Yumie, get up!" the younger woman shouted and encouraged as she saw Charlotte running for the ropes.

Kimiko hadn't been wrestling actual matches that long, but she learned to quickly recognize a bad situation, and this was one of them. "Yumie!" Kimiko called out again, trying to get Yumie to realize what was about to happen, but it was too late, Charlotte had already bounced off the ropes and went towards Yumie like a missile. As Yumie opened her eyes, Charlotte was above the map, her powerful legs pulled back, and before she could even react, the woman's legs quickly straightened and the woman's feet slammed into her face, the force and impact alone was enough to hurt, and probably even knock some people out. But as Yumie's upper body was sent backwards, the back of her head hit the canvas hard, causing her to momentarily black out.

As Yumie came too, the crowd seemed distant and muffled. She tried to move, but the rest of her body wasn't cooperating, outside of some slight movements in the Japanese woman's fingers. Kimiko simply watched, stunned and quiet as she pressed up against the ring apron looking for any sign of movement from her friend and tag partner, worried that Charlotte may have just left Yumie completely defenseless if not unconscious thanks to her powerful legs!
