Toshiko Ito vs Amy Evans - Apex Qualifier

Amy had been knocked down and Toshiko was quick to try and go after her again, despite the lack of air she was getting her brain was juggling trying to fix that problem and keep Toshiko from making it worse. Seeing her rushing back in a calm of blue Amy knew that she would need to act fast and when she went her senton Amy didn't move away but moved her knees up to try and beat the move with her knees.

If Toshiko hit down on her legs Amy would tend to her neck, unable to follow up on it after the damage done to her. The blonde would try to slither away and get back up to her feet, knowing that Toshiko wouldn't be down for long before she was back at her. But with time she would be ready to go back at it though she knew to be careful about anything that aimed for her neck for the rest of the match.

When Toshiko flew in the air, she was ready to flatten and crush the air from Amy with that rolling senton. However, Evans had managed to get her knees up in the last moment! Ito's spine arched as her face grimaced in pain behind her mask. "Ahhhh...!" hissed the Japanese girl as she stayed on her behind, cringing deeply in pain at the abrupt, painful landing.

She would then roll over onto her side and prop her body up on one arm, gritting her teeth. She turned, glaring at Amy and crawling the distance towards Amy and starting to stand up and attempted to throw a chop towards Amy's chest, wanting to try keeping up her attack despite the pain in her back slowing her down.

Toshiko was quick but her impatient and quick attacks made a patter that Amy could see, one that she was able to use to stop her from getting too much offense in at once. She had managed to get back up as Toshiko slipped away while Amy was getting back up. The two were separated but even now Toshiko didn't want to get away from her, knowing that she had something going and wisely not wanting to waste it even when she was still sore on her back. Toshiko's next attack was a knife edge chop to Amy's chest.

"Agggh!" Amy screamed as the chop connected, briefly flattening her chest. Like all of Toshiko's strikes it hurt, her chops hurt as much as most women's punches. Anger at the constant attacks pressed her in, and Amy moved to chop at Toshiko's chest right back. She might not be able to hit as hard but she had enough power to make Toshiko feel it and force her back.

Toshiko had made a quick chop directly at Amy's chest, mostly in desperation to keep her from retaliating immediately. A surprising offense, fighting through the pain, had left its mark as the impact echoed in the arena, leaving Amy Evans in pain! Toshiko took a pause to glare back at her blonde opponent, eyes piercing her as she allowed herself to chance to recover now.

But then she was hit by a chop from Amy now. "Mmmmmn!" was the muffled yell from Toshiko as the strike nailed her in the chest hard too. One hand clutched her chest before she sucked in deep breaths. And then, Toshiko Ito would turn right back while she shot back with another chop, this time with absolutely thunderous momentum behind it, hoping to show Amy exactly why few could match her in this sort of chopping battle.

Amy could smack someone silly when she needed to, hitting Toshiko to show her she wasn't just going to hit her over and over again and get to call it a day, the Lion had claws. Toshiko had to take a second to strike back, but she didn't let herself stop as this was her game and it was clear that Amy hitting back challenged her a little, with Toshiko throwing another slap her way right after hers.

"Grrnnggh!" Amy groaned when struck again by her palm. Somehow Toshiko managed to hit her even harder, the power she had for her strikes was insane and Amy could feel the mark that had been placed on her chest from that strike. Once again she had to take a moment to focus as the pain was awful but the blonde quickly struck still, throwing another hard chop to Toshiko to try to get her to back off.

Toshiko Ito had hit another chop to Amy's chest, this time even more vicious of one. She stood, pressing her chest out towards Evans proudly, only for her to be chopped yet again as she reeled back from the impact, one foot going behind her as she glanced away from Amy. This time, Ito didn't make a sound. Her brow knitted as she steeled her expression. And then she unleashed hell.

Suddenly, Toshiko decided she had enough of this and turned, throwing a stiff flurry of forearms and elbow strikes directly at Amy's chest and head, aiming to just completely rattle and throw her off in a combination she called the Rush of Madness. And when Ito felt she had an opening, she would close off the series with a high roundhouse kick towards Amy's head, hoping to lay the crushing blow for her head!

Amy had been throwing herself into each attack, trying to knock Toshiko down with a big hit and get back to a mounting attack that she could actually start to bring her down, but Toshiko refused to drop, instead steeling herself for another attack. This time she didn't do just one, but instead several big chops and attacks, it almost seemed like a frenzy but each strike was still coming while Amy was trying to defend herself from the chops to her chest and face. Her guard remained but the hits weren't letting up, and that opened Toshiko up to try and throw a kick towards her head that she never saw coming.

"Nggaaggh!" Amy screamed. Her head turning right and the rest of her followed violently as she would end up dropping down to the floor again. Groaning Amy rolled to her side trying to keep her guard up since she knew Toshiko was coming with another hit, but she had to avoid whatever would come next or Toshiko would just go back to her never ending attacks.

The Rush of Madness had done what it needed to. The rapidfire shots were keeping Amy on the defensive and just keeping her incapable of focusing on much else. The measured strikes were there precisely to keep her backed up, with each strike threatening to be devastating. But then, Toshiko closed it off with a strike that Amy likely didn't expect. The roundhouse kick came fast and shot her directly in the head, sending the blonde directly to the mat.

Toshiko stood over Evans, looking down at her with scorn. Amy was clearly hurting, and she was still aware enough to know that the Twilight Edge was very dangerous. Seemingly uncaring of Amy's current state, she would turn towards the girl and then charge towards her and drop down, attempting to hit a low dropkick directly towards Amy's face. It was a simple maneuver, but one she knew could keep Amy further injured and opened up for more abuse.

Amy's defenses could only do so much when even blocking hurt but it was getting less painful to endure all of these big hits from Toshiko as Amy was getting a feel for the best ways to block them. Still actually getting to them in time was another issue, Toshiko was fast and clearly trained her body to maintain her speed even when she was wearing herself out and sometimes Amy's arms didn't make it in time before the kick connected before Amy could actually stop it, sending her to the mat for Toshiko to keep attacking. The masked assassin was as relentless as ever taking no time for a break to rush back at her and try to knock Amy out with a drop kick to her head as she rolled away.

"Gaagh!" Amy screamed when the low dropkick hit the side of her head. Knocking her around the ring some more and keeping her flat on the ground, it put her recovery on hold. Amy was sore in many places and it became clear that trying to avoid Toshiko was not going to work, if she wanted to stop her she had to make it so attacking worked against her.

Amy Evans was down, and as she tried to recover, Toshiko kept on the aggression with a low dropkick that kept her reeling. Ito was swift and damaging, making sure every little hit had a precise force behind it to get the most out of it. With a cold expression, she came to one knee, watching Evans as she recoiled on her back. With a profound scoff, the Japanese girl stood up and then grabbed hold of one of Amy's legs.

She kept that leg under her arm and pulled up Amy so she was laying back on her shoulders. Her cruel eyes glanced at the blonde once before Toshiko looked back at Amy's midsection. And then she would start to fire kick after kick towards Amy's vulnerable midsection, hoping to start blasting it with vicious strikes to wind her and damage her midsection even further. The Twilight Edge wanted to wear Evans down, one punishing kick at a time.
