"Battle Angel" Randee Reagan (Debut) vs. Luiza "Byakko" Ishikawa

Randee clenched her teeth when she got her ankles crossed to lock in the hold. Having her legs to help with the weight did not make Luiza's lower half any lighter. But the blonde held tight, stretching her body out to keep her balance and avoiding any temptation to relax. Her muscles strained to squeeze on Luiza's head and keep her folded over, and the niggling idea that she could fail to end this with her so-called finisher motivated her to throw every ounce of power she could into the Shapshut, complete with a few groans of exertion.

But after a couple of seconds of straining, Randee Reagan could tell that she had won her first match.

Luiza wailed, but couldn't do anything more and sounded absolutely frantic for relief. Randee calmed and held onto the hold, knowing if she held on for two, three, four more seconds Luiza would give. And she did. Randee heard her cries, but waited the extra second until the ref signalled the submission to Randee and the ring judge to be sure it wasn't a fever dream. Then the blonde promptly let Luiza go.

Promptly was still too late for Luiza. Randee watched her sprawl out when she released the hold, limp and lifeless. Only a couple of times sparring had Randee ever knocked anyone out in her finisher.

Before she could decide whether she felt pride for knocking out such a titan of a woman (ah, yeah, she did didn't she), the ref rushed over once she started to stand to lift her arm, and the moment hit. Randee stared out out the crowd, glee starting to show on her face.
