Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

When Rosie's pin finally broke apart under Asuka's wild struggling and kicking, Asuka breathed a sigh of relief and quickly scrambled a few feet away from the girl in red before she tried to stand. As much as she'd have loved to squash this incredibly-annoying girl, it seemed the two of them were evenly matched. She staggered into the ropes on the far side of the ring and smirked at her opponent, "I don't think I need to pay anyone to hate you." she taunted in reply, giving the girl a wink.

With that, she'd come running back at Rosie in a charge, aiming to throw a big right hook into Rosie's jaw. With some luck, and all the power she could summon, it'd hopefully knock the girl flat. If she got really lucky, it might knock her flat and knock her out, both at once.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

As the two pint sized fighters got up to resume their contest, Asuka offered a retort to Rosie's inflammatory remark, one which made Soto roll her eyes. And just when she did Asuka charged at her in an attempt to nail her with a stiff punch to the jaw! Rosie would try to dodge at the last second and the punch would graze her jaw, though it would still hurt and cause her to stagger backwards. When her foe approach and attempted to follow up with a knee strike, Rosie backed away and dropped the canvas before rolling out of the ring.

She'd then venture towards the barricade, putting one hand on it and the other on her mouth, trying to wait for the pain she was feeling from the glancing blow to subside. Despite Asuka doing something similar just moments ago, the audience would boo and the referee would become visibly upset. All the while, Rosie's facial expression remain one of persistent apathy. Anyone could tell that she didn't really care. She'd remain outside and wait until the referee began counting and reached a count of 6 or 7 before attempting to re-enter the ring and resume the contest.

Asuka smirked down at Rosie when the black-haired lightweight felt the need to escape the ring. She looked pretty dominant right about now, standing tall (or, as tall as a lightweight could be) in the ring over a frustrated-looking Rosie on the lower outside section. While the referee started to count Rosie out, Asuka hopped excitedly about the ring, throwing her arms up and trying to get the audience excited again before Rosie got back into the ring.

When she finally did, Asuka ran for the ropes on the far side of the ring, threw herself against them, and came rebounding back fast toward Rosie. She was determined to press her offense as often and as hard as she could, as it seemed Rosie was struggling to keep up with it so far. As soon as she was in range, Asuka leapt off her feet and dived at Rosie to crash shoulder-first into her invisible abs with a spear!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

As Asuka smiled wide and hopped about in the ring, Rosie rubbed her jaw and paced around the outside of the ring. Still ignoring the audience's bias, she'd take her time skulking about before finally entering the ring. And when she did, Asuka readied herself by leaning against the ropes on the other side of the ring and charging at her! Rosie attempted to counter with a deadpan, annoyed look on her face. She was annoyed that her opponent tried to throw herself at her yet another time in this same match. When Asuka drew near and attempted to drive her shoulder into Soto's flat yet soft tummy, the red clad lightweight reacted by jumping upwards and spreading both her legs in an effort to avoid the move.

If she were able to dodge the spear, she'd run towards the ropes that Asuka had bounced off of just a couple of seconds ago. She expected her foe to continued running to the ropes on the other end of the ring. Rosie would attempt to show off some of her own prowess as a high flier by leaping onto the middle rope and springboarding off of it. She'd attempt to throw herself backwards and hit Asuka with a Springboard Moonsault as the streamer approached her!

Asuka let out a loud gasp when Rosie hopped over her in an admittedly very beautifully-done jump, spreading her legs out almost into a split just to avoid Asuka's energy-packed spear. Both out of frustration, and the shock at realising she's about to fall out of the ring. To change her trajectory and avoid crashing into the concrete, Asuka threw her hands out and caught the top and middle ropes, just barely having the strength to slow herself down. Her feet never touched the concrete, and she slipped herself back into the ring.

She went back to chasing Rosie, and found herself immediately regretting that decision. Rosie saw her coming, leapt up onto the middle rope, and came flying back at her in a moonsault. Her opponent's body crashed down on her chest and flattened her into the canvas, squishing all the air out of Asuka's lungs, creating a loud "Blueergh!". The referee would slide over and check both of Asuka's shoulders were down, and started to count. But before he could get even to the second count, Asuka quickly gave a sharp yank and forced one shoulder up.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

The pace of the match quickened when Rosie managed to avoid being taken down by Asuka's Spear. Normally, a Spear wasn't a move one would expect to see a lightweight use, but Asuka's seemed threatening enough to Rosie that the twin-tailed lightweight was determined to avoid the move, and she did. Just after doing so, she managed to vault off the ropes and follow up by hitting the brunette with a Moonsault, ensuing in a mild crowd reaction for the cool move, despite the audience's opposition to her before.

"Gotcha! I win!" Rosie would squeal as she took her foe down. The referee would scramble to get in place and begin counting the pin. Soto did what she could and rested the meager weight she did have on Asuka's upper body to try and keep the streamer's shoulders down, but ultimately she was only able to earn a one count. When Asuka fought her way up to a seated position, Rosie groaned audibly in frustration before attempting to position herself behind Hisashi and wrap an arm around her neck. Soto sought to follow up the attempted pin fall with a Sleeper hold!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

Asuka desperately took in as many big gasps of air as she could to replace what was forced out of her in Rosie's moonsault. Her legs scrambled at the canvas and she desperately started to force her way upwards, hoping to shove Rosie off to the side so she could get up and get to freedom. On her feet, she was an extremely formidable fighter, with awesome striking skill and exceptional agility. On the ground, she was barely rookie tier, with Rosie very easily overwhelming her.

She thought she had done it, and escaped, until she realised Rosie hadn't been thrown off, but had just crawled off to get behind her. Rosie's arm came up around Asuka's neck and began to squeeze, cutting off her breathing in one quick move and forcing the streamer's smaller body to press up against Rosie's. She immediately and instinctively started to struggle, throwing herself this way and that and desperately trying to force her way to the ropes, and prying at Rosie's arm at the same time to try and take some of the pressure off of her throat.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

Rosie engaged in a brief struggle with Hisashi while the the streamer was trying to find her way up off the canvas. In the heat of the moment, Rosie opted for the simple, yet effective approach of asserting her slightly larger frame over her opponent's by wrapping her arm around the Japanese Native's neck and trapping her in a Sleeper hold! Rosie would be quick to position her free hand on the back of Asuka's head and fully lock in the hold.

Her foe would do what she could to try and escape. She'd kick with her legs, twist her torso, and struggle to find a means to make it to the ropes, all while the crowd tried to spur her on with cheers! Of course, her leotard clad opponent would pay them little mind. In an effort to hinder Asuka's advance towards the ropes, Rosie would cross her ankles and attempt to add a scissor hold to her sleeper! Commenting "She's done!" as she did.

Soto did all she could to ensure that the redness in cute little Asuka's face matched the redness of her leotard as she attempted to send her to dreamland and put her away here and now!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

Asuka found herself able to draw in weak, small wheezing breaths through the hold by tilting her head back, and used that to her advantage while she fought. Or at least, until Rosie figured it out, and forced her head forwards again, squashing the streamer's throat shut. Asuka's eyes and mouth were both open wide, a thin trail of saliva running down her chin. Her struggling was at least making some progress towards the ropes, despite Rosie's efforts to the contrary.

Things got a fair bit more difficult when Rosie's legs wrapped around Asuka's slender midsection and began to squeeze hard inwards. The scissorhold made it harder to focus on moving her legs, and without any oxygen it was getting harder to focus on anything at all as time went on. Asuka's face turned red, then dark red, and eventually purple, with tears welling up in Asuka's eyes.

By some miracle, just as Asuka's vision was turning black, her hand caught tight onto the rope, and she held onto it for dear life, more on instinct than anything. If Rosie didn't let go right away, the referee was on his way over to physically break up the hold, not particularly caring for the fairness of a lightweight match. He'd pry her hands apart and then grab her waist to drag her away to the middle of the ring.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Rosie Soto

Things looked grim for the renowned streamer. Rosie seemed to be more than capable of imposing her will on Asuka. At this rate, most would assume there was no coming back for her. The fans grew concerned as her faced continued to grow redder bordering on purple. But just when all seemed lost, just when Asuka seemed like she had no more resistance left to offer, she made a last ditch effort to launch herself and Soto towards the ropes! In that one instant, things seemed to turn around for her. The audience cheered as Hisashi closed in on the ropes and grabbed the bottom one weakly with one hand. The referee would call the rope break immediately, much to the relief of the fans. To add to this, Asuka somehow found the energy and resolve to throw repeated elbows at Rosie's side.

Yet despite this turn of events, Rosie refused to let go. The submission specialist tightened the hold, despite the rope break being called. She fully expected the referee to begin counting towards her disqualification. She tightened the hold as much as she could, fighting throw the elbow strikes to her side to do so.

"Just a little mo-HEY!" With nothing but victory on her mind, Rosie would soon find herself forcibly removed from her Asuka's person. The referee put both hands on her waist and began forcibly tugging her away from the streamer!

"My-My win! You're supposed to count! Not interfere, you creep!!!" Rosie would cry out in protest. She'd begin to argue with the bigger referee. Upset by the fact that victory was only a moment away, she'd simply begin marching towards Asuka yet again. Unfortunately for her, the referee stood firm in his stance to keep the two apart. It only took one threat of immediate disqualification to get Miss Soto to stop and scowl. Her vision of her victory being threatened by the official was the only thing keeping her from trying to finish Asuka with the utmost haste. Rosie would remain silent and compliant, frowning at the ref's favoritism . The official made his way over to Asuka, taking his time with her to ensure that she was still fit to compete.
