Aculina Aslanov vs Seras Quinoa

From the momentum in her hop that carried them skyward to the flex of her arms that dragged them back, the impact was another Tunguska Event. Her arms relaxed after the crash. Steam ushered out of her nose, and she dipped her broad shoulders.

A grim look scorned them just as her hand clutched their shoulder and worked to turn them face-up. Seras was free for but a second, then a hand settled on her chin, the other across their waistline.

The pressure snowballed and bore down without stoppage. From the flex of her arms, the application of her shoulders, Aculina sought to bow them into a U.

“A-ahh.. AARGHH..!!”

Having been spread across Aculina like nothing, Seras softly groaned. Pain was coursing through her veins, her lips trailing a slight trickle of blood from the previous blow she had received..

.. but Cyro wouldn’t rest. She’d bend Seras in half, planning on snapping her like a twig! Eliciting a scream of pain, the only thing she had free were her arms.. so, pulling one back.. she’d drive her elbow into Aculina’s stomach with a desperate blow!

It was an easy bend over the limb, with arms made like a hydraulic press bore down on what might as well have been a utensil. Aculina leaned into the hold, her knuckles rolled inward for extra grip until they dug into the clothing and skin; and her gaze fell upon Seras, whose scream scratched the inside of her ears. 〝Is that all?〞

She said, spoken hush as a borderline whisper. For them, the survival instinct must’ve ignited, for Seras’s elbow stabbed into a solid wall of reinforced skin, cloaked by a T-shirt. Her next breath hitched, and she coughed as the press stunned. The hand that gripped the waistline released and reared back as Aculina heaved Seras off her knee to charge a white-knuckle fist towards their abdomen. An eye for an eye.

Aculina slipped her hands against Seras’s frame, wrenching the blonde over her knee with a deadly grip! Seras was in severe pain, the grip from Aculina digging into her skin and leaving marks that would definitely not fade for a while..!

However, her blow slammed against her chest, and bore fruit. Seras was tossed to the ground, free from the grasp of her torturer.. and yet! As she’d start to get up, Aculina’s blow slammed into her abdomen like a freight train, causing her to stagger back by a few steps.. before crumpling to all fours, her hand caressing her stomach. She’d shoot Cyro a glare, slowly staggering to her feet.. though it felt like it was hard to breathe.

She’d lean against a rope.. before steeling her gaze. Tottering forwards in a shaky walk.. she’d let out a scream of determination, before using the last of her energy in a deadly burst, leaping forwards to slam her knee into Aculina’s jaw, going to try and finish her off this time!

A human spine was just a metal pipe, just as bendable, perhaps more than some realized. That muscle was but fodder attached - hardened dust that could return to nothing with enough pressure, which became her challenge. Something she bore into with those decrepit eyes. The life flickered inside and glimmered a snowfall that almost could wet the iris. It took a strike to break that storm, albeit awakened by something crass - a fist that thrust harder than steel, a limb shaped only by bloated muscle. Aculina postured herself with hunched knees and a squared stance. One hand placed by her hip and the other arm stretched out, palm forward with stiff fingers pointed up. She leaped at Seras’s charge and turned horizontal, where her knees tugged towards her chest, and feet placed together to form a single limb that thrust to see their face full of her boots.

She landed on her side, then rolled onto her stomach and shoved herself onto her feet. An arm extended above her head, fingers splayed that slowly curled into a fist.

Her head swivelled left to right. She cracked a smirk as she jumped, stomped both feet, and sprinted towards the ropes as though she became a thunderbolt. The ropes embraced the back of her tank top and released her at double speed. She skipped over Seras and took the leap, the one to reignite the storm within the forty-seven-year-old. To remind those who watched that winter has come again, within the package of her feet pressing down on the top rope, knees brought up as Aculina’s body pushed off, hands above her head as she gazed upon the lights and arched back until she flipped and found her opponent. She’d come down with all her weight across their abdomen and chest. There would be no delay on hooking the leg should her finishing move find its cold new home.

And as Seras planned on extinguishing Cyro’s flame with this one blow, Cyro planned on doing the same. Her knee to her face never got the chance to meet its mark, as Cyro suddenly raced forwards and leapt up, slamming her boots against Seras’s mouth. Her head snapped back, a burst of crimson shining in the lights of the ring. Seras stumbled back, before her legs gave way, falling down to her back with a crash, that rang of finality.

Aculina prepared herself for the finisher, somewhat unneeded as Seras was sapped of the strength needed to stop her. But this would be the final nail in the casket, as to say. Aculina’s splash hit its mark, causing Seras’s legs to jerk out, a groan of pain escaping her lips.. but as her foe cradled her leg up, she was powerless to stop it. Her arms lay splayed by her side, black spots dancing in her vision. Suddenly.. the sound of counting could be heard, accompanied by a blow to the ground that spelt the end for her. Too fatigued to do much, she’d just close up her eyes and accept the inevitable with a heavy heart and aching body..!

The pin was kept with one arm reaching over, hooked around underneath their thigh so her fist could kiss the ribcage. An elbow propped against their other side and gazed upon the front row, eyes so hollow and grey they could almost reflect their faces. The bell swept the arena in sombre bangs, and Aculina released her breath, dipped her head and pushed up onto her knees to sit on her shins. Both palms furled into her lap, and she looked at the white lights. A wave of hollow noise poured on her ears as well, though celebrations were best in silence, so there was no receipt to whatever they thought. What she came for was over. Or was it?

“I want a smoke….” She said with a sigh, then looked down to gawk.

“You come too.”

She slumped shoulders, lowered her forearms to lay across the canvas; one slithered beneath their nape, the other hooked the legs as they had before, a hand for their far shoulder and another on their thigh. They were whipped up onto Aculina’s shoulder as she popped back to her feet, walked over to the ropes, stepped on the lower turnbuckle and hurled her leg over the top rope, just to land on the apron and jump onto to ringside. A calm stride took her up the rampway, Seras in tow, free to walk the halls, past any employee or spectator that wished to question but couldn’t muster the guile.

Seras.. was mildly confused. Lights were flashing whenever she was opening her eyes, so she’d prefer to keep them shut and just lay down. She wasn’t that hurt that she couldn’t tend to herself.. just tired. So she’d wait for the paramedics..

Feeling a body lift her up, she wondered if they got here early..? But instead of a stretcher, she was carried onto.. a broad shoulder.. Aculina’s shoulder. She heard words.. about her.. coming too?

Having been carried out of the main ring and to the corridors, Seras softly groaned..

“Where.. you takin me..?”

“On shoulder…”

Aculina moved now with one hand stuffed in her pocket and with blood that leaked onto her upper lip. They came to a door, opened and greeted by the smell of lingering sweat. Idle gear was strewn by benches, and they were wedged a couple of feet from grey lockers, standing on top of another in rows of three. There were larger ones, even smaller ones too, which Aculina walked over to and set Seras down across the bench in front of it.

“Rest here.”

She turned her back and pulled open her small cubby, where she had a pack of cheap cigarettes, booze, coloured band-aids, a full box of tissues, her empty worn-down black leather wallet, a small hand-held rusty circular mirror, and a silver necklace with a photo inside a closed locket. She donned the, then used a pocket mirror to check for any bruises and guide the tissues to pad her nose.

“Smoke? Drink? Band-aid? Kiss? How do you drown your pain?” She asked as she turned around.

She was laid upon benches to rest, a small sigh escaping her. One of relief, her aching back finally getting a bit of rest. A employee had fetched her suit for her, it was lying besides them on a counter..

.. as she’d motion to it.

“Smoke.. usually.. suit has some nicer cigarettes..”

She didn’t like the cheap ones, and booze.. well she had her reasons for not liking booze. She’d softly wrinkle her nose..

“No thanks to booze.. kiss sounds.. fun though.”

She’d say, somewhat teasingly. The bandaid was also a nice offer, but she didn’t think it’d be very helpful.
