Standard Showdown: Cal Walker vs. Nayla Ameera

"You are quite resilient, though don't think flattery will mean I ease up on you." Cal said as he seemed to not flinch at the somewhat playful compliment. As a married man he was quite loyal to his wife and didn't even entertain such attitudes even if only limited to the ring, though he waited for Nayla to collect herself all the same.

In spite of her bravado Cal seemed to notice his submission worked to help wear her down a bit, and she was even if for the moment only in a weak position. His goal was simple then, as the masked wrestle advanced with his arms extended slightly and knees bent as he would try to corner his foe, keeping her back in the direction of the nearest turnbuckle and cut off escape, and then if he managed to box her in would try to advance to drive his shoulder right into her gut with a timely charge.

Nayla pouted upon hearing Cal's response. "Aw, not even a little lenience for poor ol' me?" Now that she had released the ropes, Nayla was getting ready for her next clash with Cal. But then, as Cal began to close in, Nayla was having trouble keeping up her defense, and she ended up being pushed back by her opponent, who then brought her towards a corner.

"Erghhh..." Mustering her strength, Nayla tried to push Cal away, but then, her opponent decided to ram his shoulder into her belly, causing her to gasp out in pain. "HAUGHH!!!" This left her breathless and disoriented, which would allow Cal to capitalize on her.

Cal, in what seemed to be in character for him, was ever stoic much like the mask that covered his face. The bit of banter was cut off by a cry of pain from the shoulder ram, which Cal aimed to follow up with a second one aiming to take the wind out of Nayla even if but for a moment.

With that, he aimed to grab Nayla by the wrist, as his goal seemed to be to try and use his strength to toss her from one corner to the one across from them, aiming to drive her to it with as much momentum as he could produce!

Defenseless before her opponent, Nayla wheezed as she struggled to breathe after taking the shoulder ram into her belly. Cal then went to grab her by her wrist before sending her towards the opposite corner, and Nayla was unable to stop him as she was sent there with an Irish whip. At the very least, she was able to twist around so that she wouldn't collide into the turnbuckle with her chest, though the position was hardly any better.

"Erghhhh..." Groaning, Nayla would drape her arms over the ropes, trying her best to recover and regain her bearing. She was in a vulnerable position at the moment, and for the time being, she could hardly defend herself against whatever Cal would throw at her next.

Cal's companion barked happily on the outside, pleased that Cal had been doing so well though the masked man made no indication of any feeling beyond supreme focus. Once Nayla landed back first on the corner, he aimed to capitalize on her position as he faced across her in the opposite corner and charged out.

Moving with a full head of steam, Cal aimed to try and drive his full body weight onto his cornered foe with a running splash. If he connected, he'd be sure to drive the wind out of Nayla's sails and deliver a crushing blow to her.

Ending up at the corner thanks to her opponent's Irish whip earlier, Nayla draped her arms over the ropes, grimacing as she tried to collect her bearing. But Cal decided to continue with his momentum as he charged towards her before she hit her with a corner splash, making use of his momentum and weight to flatten her between his body and the turnbuckle!

"UAGHHH!!!"

Nayla ended up struggling to breathe as air was forcefully knocked out of her. At the moment, her body felt sore, and it seemed that she would be an easy target for Cal, who would certainly continue with his momentum now that Nayla was in this state.

Indeed, Cal's blows landed and worked to get the air out of her foe. She was quite resilient, and now that she was struggling he saw an opportunity to really push the advantage; he moved to grab Nayla by the wrist as his goal was to try and hoist her over his shoulders for what seemed to be a power submission move.

In this case, his goal was to try and apply a Torture Rack to Nayla. If successful, he would try and bend the woman over his shoulders to really put the pressure onto Nayla in a display of pure strength.

Left breathless after being flattened between her opponent's body and the turnbuckle, Nayla was then pulled by Cal who then hoisted her up onto his shoulders, putting her into a torture rack. Her eyes widened as her body was put on display while she was being stretched on his shoulders. She started feeling the pain on her spine as she was being put into the torture rack.

"AAAAGHHHHH!! N-NOOOOOOO!!!"

Nayla wailed out in pain. She tried to deny the pain, but with her body on display like this, she knew that even she had her own limit. All she could do in her situation was to squirm and struggle, hoping that her opponent wouldn't be able to maintain the torture rack for long.

Cal proved to be quite technically skilled as well as strong, as he managed to secure a tight grip onto the torture rack and much to the crowd's amazement he was able to hoist up Nayla's body as he added more pressure to the submission as his mask hid any expression beyond his usual seriousness.

The referee of course checked for either a submission or if any of her limbs would near a rope.

Cal of course though had his own struggle, as Nayla proved to be quite spirited even in the painful hold and her squirming had made it a bit of a struggle to keep her over hiss shoulders and in place, which prevented him from applying the full strain of the hold like he desired to.

Even as she was held in the torture rack, screaming out in pain, Nayla refused to submit, at least not yet. She squirmed and struggled, trying her best to endure the hold while making it difficult for Cal to maintain it. She would continue shaking herself to get her opponent to release her. She knew that she only had limited time to do that, and if her opponent didn't let go of her, then she might be in a much bigger problem than just this. So, she would continue struggling to make it much harder for Cal.
