Ashley didn't notice Miss Fortune tagging in. She was already in motion, her body poised to make contact with Melody's with the force of her charge behind her, and as she kicked off the ground to spin backward, she let her hip face out, coming crashing into the rocker as though she were a missile! As the smack of cheeks hitting cheeks rang through the arena, Ashley hopped down to her feet, immediately bursting into laughter. She clutched her sides, giggling furiously at Melody's reaction. "Well? You asked for it!~" she teased, giving her own rear end a smack for good measure.

Of course, Melody wasn't much of a receptive audience for such a display given that Kayla had grabbed her and hurled her straight out of the ring! She fell down beside her, but was quicker to pick herself back up. With the ensuing clang, the two Californians looked over at the fruits of their labor. Ash quickly pulled her partner back up onto the ring apron, and the two of them shared a high-five as the red-haired girl shook her hand excitedly.

"Hell yeah!!" Ash cheered, looking out at the crowds cheering her from all around. "Ya hearing that, Kay? The crowds LOVE us!~"

"I can't say I'm not flattered," Kayla remarked. Still, she couldn't help but grin. That move had been expert coordination on their part, and it had worked out perfectly, sending Melody out of the ring with such force it looked like she would be out of action for a while. "How long do you think she's down for, anyway? You think maybe it'll go to count-out-"

But Kayla's questions were answered by the referee, as she made the announcement that Madison was the legal woman for her team! At once, Ashley and Kayla ceased their celebrations to look at each other blankly, then back at Miss Fortune. "Wait...what?"

"She...totally wasn't legal, was she?" Ashley enquired.

"I mean, I don't...think so," Kayla responded. "Either way...I bet I can take her!"

"Yeah? Ya sure? I'm doing fine myself!"

But Kayla shook her head. "I think...this one's for me." Accepting a tag from Ash, she climbed through the ropes, stepping toward Miss Fortune's corner.

Miss Fortune was still a ball of red fury. She stamped around the ring like a petulant teenager, the crowd did their part in mocking her. It all served to make the redhead both dangerous and incredibly weak at the same time. If Kayla kept her cool she could take Miss Fortune out for the first fall and put the SoCal Connection at a major advantage. It would also play on the weaker member of the makeshift tag team's mind.

Seeing Kayla make the tag Miss Fortune turned her anger on her new target

"Oh really this.. THIS is what they have me fighting!"

Just like a brat she stomped forward and got up in Kayla's face, she shouted and mocked and kept poking Kayla. Many of the crowd gave a loud OOOHHH as Miss Fortune continued.

"Ya see, you have NO right to even be in the same ring as me. Not YOU not your FAT ASS friend. NOBODY!"

In all truth, however annoyed the New Yorker was, she was aware that without Melody, this was basically a 2v1. If she got stuck in the SoCal corner, they could tag in and out until Miss Fortune was barely able to stand. So as she played her bratty attitude, she waited to get close to Kayla and attempt a very cheap shot with a knee to the tummy.

If it worked she would waste no time in capitalising with a front facelock to try to wear the girl down a little

As she entered the ring, Kayla crossed her arms and looked over her opponent, sizing her up. She couldn't say she was particularly impressed with what she saw. Despite her team having little success - and what they did have going for them tended to be undermined by Madison herself - the redhead still seemed to think this ring was rightfully hers, and that Kayla herself had no business being there.

If anything, the Californian girl was just confused. She rolled her eyes, less than impressed with Madison's comebacks. Despite all her insults, all her shouting, and all her finger-jabbing, she had nothing to say for herself to back up her claims. Kayla said nothing, but stood and faced her. She, too, was waiting for the right opportunity. Sure that Madison had something planned, Kayla watched for the moment to come where she could secure the advantage.

"Really, now..." she said. "A lot of talk from someone who's full of hot air!" As soon as Miss Fortune raised her knee, Kayla was ready; she had been watching her closely, and any signs of movement set her off, ready to act. Just before her strike could hit, Kayla swerved to the side, letting the redhead's knee hang in the air! "I say if we're going to brag, we should let our skills do the talking for us!" She bent lower, getting an arm around Madison's bent leg. If successful, Kayla would use it to lift her onto her shoulders before she dropped the redhead's leg down on her knee, performing a shinbreaker! "Because I don't see you doing this!"

The New York redhead used all her dubious talent to get as close as possible to Kayla. In her mind, this girl was nothing more than an irritation. A wannabe wrestler who deserved everything that was coming to her. Miss Fortune had already conjured images in her mind of working the girl over and dispatching her for an easy pin. Then she could take out her lame partner and show the whole of LAW she didnt need anyone.

Miss Fortune smirked as she thrust her knee forward expecting it to connect with Kayla

HUH?

She hit nothing. In the blink of an eye, the redhead found herself hoisted up, her arms flailed as it was not how things were supposed to be and then CRUNCH the pain shot up her leg as her knee and shin took the brunt of the impact. Miss Fortune fell to the canvas clutching her leg, eyes screwed up tight. She could barely even move let alone mount a counter.

Worst still, she had no Melody to make a dash for to tag. There at almost middle ring, the gobby New Yorker was in big trouble

In Miss Fortune's head, everything would play out perfectly. To her, Kayla would prove hopeless against her efforts, crumbling against the might of a superior opponent and forced to admit she could never hope of being on her level. Everything was picture-perfect the way she envisioned it...which meant it was all the more bitter for Madison when her fantasy would be turned on its head.

As Kayla saw things, reality was going to be quite the opposite! As a fiercely competitive and spirited young woman who had excelled in her high school wrestling career and committed herself to training and growing stronger, she felt it was she who had the edge over Miss Fortune. And, at least for now, those predictions seemed to be coming true - as Kayla was able to effortlessly avoid a knee strike from her opponent before hoisting her up and dropping her bent leg onto her knee to land with the sound of a crunch! From there, Kayla looked on with a smirk as Madison crumpled to the ground, laying limply beneath her.

"Now, to give you a taste of some real wrestling!" Kayla boasted. Looking to target Miss Fortune's leg after she had already done some damage, she lifted up one of the redhead's legs to lock it into place around her own, before she dropped onto her back to carry out a figure four leglock!

Kayla had the upper hand and Melody was still nowhere to be seen. Actually she had now sat up and was shaking away the cobwebs but hadnt got clear enough to make it to the apron. Around her the crowd encouraged the rockstar to get back in the ring and help Miss Fortune. Others urged her to stay and let the horrible redhead get punished.

In the ring things didnt go as planned. As Miss Fortune lay on her back cradling her leg she cursed her rival.

"You are here to job to the Queen of LAW which is me. Have the decency to lay down and I will make your suffering short!"

Delusional!

What made the matter worse is that she was in no position to stop Kayla. Sure enough the skilled So Cal natve locked on a punishing figure four. Miss Fortune's eyes went wide as the pain shot around her body. She sat up and then dropped back. The ref moved in to slap for ONE as her shoulders were on the canvas. Desperate, Miss Fortune lifted herself again but it really was such a strain on her injured leg.

"AGGHHHHHH!"

She dropped back and clawed for the ropes which were just out of reach. Miss Fortune knew that if she stayed here much longer she would have to give and that meant the first fall.

Melody meanwhile appeared at ringside using the ropes to steady herself. She saw the in ring carnage and planted her elbows, hands cupping her cheeks. She paused, sure, she didnt want to lose but seeing the redhead getting taught a lesson was priceless. As she watched on she tried to catch the eye of Ash. Not only was Ash a total cutie but Melody wanted to see her in action. She gestured, and if Ash saw it Melody would point to Miss Fortune and nod. She would also hold up three fingers indicating that Ash should get involved. Melody didnt care if the girls pinned Miss Fortune or made her submit. The redhead needed to be humiliated and this team must have something up their sleeves.

The rockstar grinned and climbed back up the ropes to her corner. She immediately started calling out the ref girl

"HEY REF, come ON!"

Melody played her part and stepped through the ropes with just one leg which drew the attentions of the ref. The ref girl left the hold and tried to get Melody to get back outside.

Now with her back to the action, anything could happen

Kayla was already in motion, getting herself into position to capitalize on Miss Fortune's vulnerable state. Still, she heard her shout at her from the mat, demanding that she lay down and defer to the redhead. Kayla wanted to pause for a moment, just to get a word in edgewise - but, ultimately, she decided against it. She was on a roll, and she couldn't interrupt that momentum. And, more importantly, she realized that words wouldn't do as good a job of saying what she was about to say as the crushing pressure of the figure four itself would!

Lacing her legs into place around her opponent's, Kayla was quick to drop to her back, putting the force on Madison's already-injured leg! The sound of her scream caused Kayla to smirk to herself, knowing that she was reaping the karma of her actions. The referee moved to count a pin, but Madison was quick to break that. Kayla saw this, but the sight only made her grin wider. A moment later it would become clear why - the act of rising caused Miss Fortune to put more pressure on her own leg, leaving her to scream even louder!

"Lesson one!" Kayla shouted back from the mat, her words coming through her clenched teeth as she maintained the hold. Her thighs rubbed against Madison's as their legs tangled, but she held the pressure locked on tight. "If you're going to call yourself the Queen of LAW, you'd better be ready to back that up in the ring!"

Ashley stayed in her corner the whole while, raising her fist and cheering her partner on. She was content to sit back and let Kayla do the work - but then, something unexpected happened. As Ash's eyes scanned the ring, she saw Melody gesture to her, then to her fallen companion - and she signaled for the Californian to step into the ring. Ashley was confused at first; if Melody was her opponent, what was she doing coordinating these things with her? But, then, she smiled a little wider. It didn't matter. Ash had an excuse to do her thing, in her own way - and this was the perfect chance.

With Melody diverting the referee's attention, Ash had a clear shot toward where Kayla and Miss Fortune were locked in tight. As soon as the ref's back was turned, Ashley ducked through the ropes and took off running. As she came closer to where Madison lay, she hopped up into the air, going to land a senton onto her chest as she poised herself to collide with Miss Fortune!

Miss Fortune was screwed. She had no idea who to wrestle at the best of times, let alone when faced with a serious submission hold. As Kayla slapped on the pressure, Melody smirked. The rockstar shrugged at Ashley whom she had a serious crush on and let the whole thing play out. She hoped that the SoCal wrestlers would realise that Miss Fortune was nothing more than a glamorous jobber or a cheap nightclub oil wrestler paid for tits and ass.

She was a total jobber who needed to be shown how real girls could flatten her,

As the move played out, Melody camped up her protests. The ref was not distracted enough to spot the move from Ash.

"AGGHHHH FUCK!"

This got the refs attention. She turned and saw Ashley. The whole plan was a risk of the SoCal team getting DQ'd

Melody wasnt having that

She immediately tapped the ref on the shoulder and got right in her face. She was protesting but everytime the ref turned, she would grab the ref and make sure she listened.

All the time Melody waited, she wanted the SoCal girls to make it official.

They could beat Miss Fortune and gain a first fall anytime they wanted.

Re: The SoCal Connection vs. Miss Fortune and Melody White - Two out of Three Falls Tag

It hadn't taken long for the SoCal Connection to realize that Miss Fortune wasn't exactly going to be much of a threat to them. Despite all her bluster and posturing, her attempts to back herself up in the ring had been inadequate against the might and skill of two well-practiced athletes. But now, things were about to get even worse for her, as her tag partner was the one to give the signal for Ashley to make her move, doing nothing to help her!

A big, dumb grin was on Ash's face as she slipped into the ring. She was eager enough already to join her partner for a classic double-team, but the fact that Madison was just so insufferable that not even her own ally could be bothered to help her out was the cherry on top. And she was eager to deliver on that promise, as she came charging toward the downed girl before she turned and hurled herself back through the air, crashing into her ass-first!

With Miss Fortune crying out, Ashley looked up and froze to see the ref looking back at them. Kayla also glanced up from the mat, and her brows narrowed, biting her lip. She was wary about a potential disqualification, but for different reasons - Kayla was confident she could handle this herself, and if Ash got them thrown out with her antics, she didn't know what she'd do. Luckily, she wouldn't have to worry about that, as Melody got the ref's attention again. This was their chance, and Ashley knew she had to take it, as she looked to Kayla with a grin.

"Alright, Kay! You ready for this? You know what time it is, yeah? Figure Eight!~"

"You do know that's already a move..."

Ash pouted. "Awww, c'mon, you don't wanna sound cool?"

"Let's just move, we have no time to waste!"

"Right!"

Kayla fell onto her back once more, clenching her teeth and squeezing down hard as she arched up her spine to bring forth even more force and pressure on Madison's legs. At the same time, Ashley pulled her legs into place around her foe's head, as she mirrored her partner with a figure four headlock!

Melody did her best to give the SoCal girls all the chances possible to put Miss Fortune away, but it didnt mean it had to be quick. The figure four did its first part in putting the horrible redhead under pressure, but Ash put the icing on the cake. As she wrapped her thighs around Miss Fortunes head. it did more than just cause a submission, it sent the New Yorker bright red in the face! She gasped and clutched at Ash legs doing her most to try and escape. She tried to reach for the ropes but no good

The rockstar smirked as the punishment hold was put on the redhead. Eventually the ref got tired of arguing.

"OK whatever just look at the match dummy!"

By this time, Miss Fortune was tapping so hard the canvas was rocking.

"AGGHHHH STTTOOPPPP!"

The ref saw the double team and came over, further delaying the hold, she eventually called for the bell to signify the first fall for the SoCal girls. If they decided to release Miss Fortune she would be in trouble. She may not even be able to walk back to the corner where Melody watched on.
