Annie had almost no time to recover from Noelle’s counter sweep, her axe handle had badly missed, and now Noelle had a clear opening. Is this what Annie gets for not thinking things through.

Annie was then lifted upside down, her head facing the canvas, Annie attempted to struggle, using the strength of her body to attempt to get loose, but Noelle dropped her so quickly with the Piledriver that any attempt to free herself would had been impossible.

“AGH!” The Lightweight Champion yelped as her head bounced off the canvas with a merciless thud.

With her head now ringing from the impact, Annie had no way to resist being put in Noelle’s Sea Dragon’s Roar. “AAAAAAAAAH!” She yelled, feeling all the pain coursing through her arms and body.

Annie gritted her teeth and looked around, looked for some way to get out of this hold, her strength was completely locked down, her arms captured, and her head ringing, but she did not want to submit again, but this hold felt impossible for her brain to comprehend getting out of.

With that she had no choice, something even more humiliating then a tap out had to happen. “I GIVE UP! I SUBMIT!” Annie screamed as she had to vocally submit, hating every second of it.

Noelle had been in LAW for four and a half years now, and not once in that time had an opponent ever survived the Sea Dragon's Roar. Even the Lightweight Champion Annie Clark would not become the first, as even she was left screaming out her surrender mere moments after being locked into the Spaniard's signature submission hold.

"Phooo," Noelle exhaled as she released Annie to the floor. She turned, putting her hands up on her head as she walked away back to her corner. There was a big smile on her face, but even that was still suppressing her emotion to an extent. Noelle wasn't just up 2-0, she was dominating the champion, two attacks, two submissions.

But Noelle still had to keep a grip on herself. The only downside to her dominance was that there was still so much time left. So much time for the tables to turn. But with a start like this, Noelle couldn't help but to start feeling a belt around her waist, at least a little. But she exhaled and closed her eyes, pushing those thoughts out as best she could. The job was not finished.

Annie was hurting deeply right now, not just physically but emotionally as well. Her body was in pain all over, and her pride was deeply hurt by being submitted twice, something she would hope she never have to do once.

Her body almost did not want to get up, it was hurting so much, but she knew she had to get up if she wanted to win, and her pride would not let her stay down.

She knew her mother did not raise some weakling as a champion, so Annie forced herself to get up, even if she looked like she was gonna fall over at any point.

Annie slowly backed herself to the corner to get some rest and recover, knowing she needed to get desperate and fight for her life if she wanted to keep her title

Noelle's task of trying to prevent herself from frontrunning got a lot easier when she saw Annie's face after the champion got up. The pain and desperation she felt was not concealed in the slightest. And all of those emotions were obviously going to be directed at the Spaniard. It got a lot easier for Noelle to remind herself how careful she needed to still be when seeing that face, and then thinking about quickly and easily this could become much worse than simply a lost title match with the power that Annie was packing.

Noelle wanted to be champion so badly. Now she was so close. There was still plenty of time left in this Ironwoman, so she probably wasn't so far ahead that she could just stall and time waste. She'd probably need to take another round or two. Though if that happened, that is to say, if Noelle won this round to go 3-0, that could feasibly end it. She recognized the type of desperation on Annie's face; the desperation of somebody at the edge. Noelle knew that the champion was a gritty, determined woman. But just maybe, if she could get her one more time, Annie's spirit will break.
