God, this girl is so cute!
Alix just watched with a smile as Gabriella started to squirm. And then she felt bare flesh brushing up against her stocking-covered calf.
Oh, hello!
The contact was brief, but it did the trick. It sent a pulse of excitement all throughout her body, but it would settle in deep into her chest in particular, shorting it out and causing all movement to come to a sudden, temporary stop. Her breathing. Her heartbeat.
Of course, she didn't believe Gabriella's explanation for a second. And she didn't give a damn about her burger anymore. All she wanted was the meal -- not a snack, the full-course meal that was sitting right in front of her, trying and failing to look calm and collected so miserably that it was burning her up inside in the best possible way.
Alix felt that it was time to start being forward. But she also knew that this was a delicate situation: Too much, and she'll scare Gabriella off.
"Thank you, sweetie. I'm glad you're enjoying the conversation, because I am too. Has anybody ever told you that you're a lot of fun to talk to?"
A good start indeed, she believed. She took another couple bites out of her burger, for appearance's sake.

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Yeah, a pause to eat was the answer to getting her mental engine back on the tracks. And Gabby thought she had been totally cool in covering her ass. Assuming that Alix would grab the burger she bragged about so highly and tear into it (or perhaps trying to will the gorgeous woman to do precisely that), Gabby grabbed her own burger and took a couple more bites as if as an example for what they should do for the next ten minutes. Ten minutes to not hear possibly the sexiest person she had ever laid eyes on in person (at least top three, even with the competition back home in Hollywood) talking about extremely appealing situations. Ten minutes for the Latina beauty to cool down before she felt like her beating heart could be seen through the top of her dress-
Or Alix would compliment her again and direct the conversation the Californian's way. Like a deer caught in the headlights (or in this case, a Latina almost dropping a slice of pickle out of her mouth), Gabby peered over at her. At least her face was already red enough that no more of it could paint her cheeks. After she got her big bite of her burger down, she slowly dabbed her mouth. "Hah, well," she began, the earlier shy smile returning. "The questions might be good enough to get you started, sure, but you're the one giving the good answers. I'll take being a good listener, though!"

An expected answer.
"Maybe we can meet up again sometime and talk about you. Off the record, of course."

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Gabby found her deflection parried right back at her, and her response? A giggle. And then she cleared her throat and took another sip of lemonade. Gabby did not consider herself to be hard-headed when it came to people showing interest in her, because when it came to most of the beautiful people around her, she was simply sitting back and waiting for them to make the first move. But she had come to this interview specifically telling herself not to be weird about any of the lines that were passed her way by this gorgeous woman because she would only be getting ideas.
But she started to wonder if Alix didn't have her own ideas. She wanted to meet again? With someone as self-admittedly bland as Gabby? She realized she was doing alright in the looks department, but compared to a lot of the people Alix probably spent her time around? She probably didn't stack up.
But she should at least...find out she supposed. "I'm...open to that." Eugh. So smooth. But at least Gabby did know a little bit about playing coy. "What sort of meeting were you thinking about?"

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Alix came up with a special something right away, and in that moment, she was especially grateful to be wealthy.
"I think I have the perfect idea: Since you're the real wrestler here, maybe you can show me a few moves?"
Technically, this would be the only lie that Alix has told thus far, by way of omission. Sure, Gabriella may very well be the better of the two, but she was far from incapable.
"I can get a ring set up. No cameras. No spectators. Just us. We can have ourselves a nice, friendly sparring session, and after that, we could see where the day takes us."

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Somehow, having Alix propose that Gabby show her the ropes around more traditional wrestling caused the Latina's crafted composure to crack almost as readily as her proposing that they rush off to have wild kinky sex.
Gabby started to answer twice before reconsidering each time, mostly because she hadn't actually formed a thought yet. Having someone ask her, still a relative newbie, to unironically teach her a few moves. Maybe it was absolutely ironic and just an excuse to meet up with Gabby again. Even more intimidating. The Californian supposed it didn't matter. "Hah. I wouldn't say I'm exactly a fountain of wrestling knowledge...", she was quick to say, hopefully lowering those expectations in the case that it was meant to be unironic.
She really was not thinking that the offer was solely about the wrestling, however, when Alix was quick to point out that it should be only the two of them and that they could see where the day took them. Gabby had just heard where the day often took Alix, and as the ideas rushed through her mind, the beauty once again melted a none-too-subtle amount into her seat. And she was sure the absent look on her face probably gave up the gig on her aura of composure.
After a far-too-long pause, Gabby responded through a dry throat. "I'm fr- I'm free Sunday."

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Yes!
Inner Alix was up and bouncing on her feet at first. And then, as the possibilities began to mount in her own mind, combined with the security that came with the knowledge that Gabriella was thinking of them too, this turned into more insidious hand rubbing. Some mad genius music played in the background as that chuckle from before became a laugh that built up steadily in its maniacal mirth.
Move over, Dr. Evil.
Outer Alix just smiled softly and sweetly at her.
"I'm looking forward to it, Gabby."
With that step in her evil plan complete, she turned to her burger and started giving it some real attention, taking another bite before washing it down with some lemonade. She'd riled up poor Gabby enough for now.

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Two Days Later
Gabriella had always found the idea of "knees knocking" to describe someone's legs going weak when faced with fear or anxiety to be a very trite statement that she avoided using in her stories. After all, who had their knees knock? That sounded both awkward and overly painful and not an accurate description of that jelly-like feeling in the legs. As she walked to the studio (yes, studio) that Alix had rented for the purpose of their very intentionally private match, however, Gabby was sure it felt like her knees were actually bumping together.
Her and Alix's interview had ended smashingly; after they ate and Gabby calmed down, she asked some more generalized questions before they parted for the day with the promise of this, uh, spar. At least, Gabby would only assume it a spar until she learned otherwise. The past thirty-six hours had been filled with her imagining what might happen if her assumption turned out to be wrong. It was flattering enough having a borderline goddess walking the earth star from a field full of other goddesses walking the earth show interest in doing anything with her, whose only claim to fame or glory was making a few months' worth salary off of some stories she sold.
A billion different thoughts and questions thus battered around in her head, and she didn't know which one to address. She just kept walking.
There was one question that did weigh on her mind; one that Gabby had decided not to pose a couple of days before in the restaurant.
What would Alix do to seduce her in an otherwise even match?
Swallowing at the thought of asking something so bold, the Latina beauty shook her head violently as she reached the door that Alix had indicated. After the briefest desire to run back the other way, thinking about how embarrassing this would be if her hopes and assumptions were wrong, the Californian pushed open the door.
She didn't know what she was expecting. Just mats, mostly, she supposed. But what she found inside was a full-fledged ring waiting for her in a well-lit room, almost as nice as one of the ones in the LAW arena proper. She half expected to look around and see the same seats and stage somewhere nearby, but no, it was just the single glorious feature in an otherwise empty room, save for the woman waiting for her. Wow. She was glad she had actually gotten her proper ring attire and not just her gym gear like she had thought about originally.
After seconds passed with her agape, she snapped back to sensibleness. "Huh, hey! This is what you managed to rent?"

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Alix had been seated on the apron of the ring she'd had custom made just for today, clad in some proper wrestling attire of her own: A bodysuit with a large heart cut out at the chest, a long pair of gloves that began as a ring around her middle finger, leaving the others completely bare, and a pair of boots that reached her thighs and doubled as stockings, of a sort.
Another custom order for today. For nobody's eyes but those of the woman who'd just walked in.
And when Alix laid eyes upon her...The sight itself had knocked all the breath out of her lungs.
Again, if there was ever a time for real life to turn into a movie...She could even imagine the exact song that would play during her slow motion entrance.
The color scheme of Gabriella's outfit was a perfect fit. Mostly white and blue, with a little purple and gold. All perfect colors for a wrestling angel. And the light above them shined on her just right too, creating a visual that was a perfect mimic of an angelic aura.
It was like Gabriella was the one who planned this out instead of her. She was just so...!
Alix had been with a lot of girls in her twenty-eight years on this Earth. But looking at her now, she could say without a doubt that she was the loveliest of all she's met.
She wanted to get up right now, walk over to her, cup her cheeks in her hands, and say her hello with a nice, long smooch on those pretty lips of hers.
Speaking of which, they were moving. She was talking!
Listen up, dummy!
...
Okay, now breathe. Say something.
"Uh, yeah."
The gothic beauty was of two minds about potentially having just been sitting there with her jaw on the floor: On one hand, she hoped that she wasn't or at least that Gabriella hadn't caught it if she would find it off-putting. On the other, if she'd be flattered...
She quickly donned a smile that was more characteristic of her as she stood.
"Yeah. You like?"
Imagine the color scheme on the gloves here...

...On these gloves.

Re: An Interview With Sunshine (Feat. Alix Jacques and Gabriella Soto)
Had...had Gabby forgotten a part of her outfit? With the way Alix stared from across the room, she started to wonder. She couldn't see the other woman fully from the door (thanks, weak eyes), but she could tell that Alix was just staring her way. Trying to be subtle through a faint greeting smile, Gabby looked down at herself to see that everything was there. She had chosen one of her bolder outfits, so she hoped that it wasn't looking poor on her... And her bathroom mirror could surely testify that she had made sure her hair looked top-quality. Prepping like she was going on a date? Maybe...
Little did she know, she had the exact same reaction to Alix once she got a good look at the beauty in her outfit that Alix was having seeing her. Where Alix stared, however, Gabby took one stun-inducing look at the way the woman's top framed her chest before she felt like falling over backward and had to look away to stop herself from staring. Who had any right to look that good wearing something that revealing!?
How was she going to wrestle someone wearing something that revealing!?
And for a second, Gabby thought that Alix was asking if she liked her outfit. The Latina, caught in the headlights once more in the presence of this absolute knockout, looked up at her again and right at her chest and at her legs and- she willed herself to look back into Alix's face. "Mmmhmm. I think it, um, it suits-"
Her eyes widened. Oh. Oh. This was about the room. "-us! For what we need. To spar. I didn't think you had a whole mini-arena set up when you said studio."
Horrible save.
