Karen Gale vs Svetlana Zynski

Karen rolled desperately trying to avoid Svetlana's diving kick. She narrowly managed to avoid the drop kick, her purple haired opponent flying overhead. Breathing a sigh of relief, Karen continued her roll, trying to get back up to her feet and hopefully resume her attack on Svetlana while she was out of the ring.

Except, Svetlana was not out of the ring: the wily Polish girl had seemingly grabbed onto the ropes at the last minute, as was pulling herself back up! Irritated, Karen dropped down and lunged at Svetlana with a charge, hoping to drive a shoulder into the other girl's firm abs and knock her off the edge of the ring down onto the floor!

Svetlana was climbing back through the ropes when Karen crashed into her sending her tumbling back through, falling off the apron for a hard landing on the ground! "ARGH!" Svetlana groaned as she crashed down, rolling around and holding her leg as she landed awkwardly down on the ground below. This was not good at all and Svetlana was hurting. She rolled close to the ring so at least she had protection from a big diving move as she tried her best to recover.

Karen felt her shoulder collide with Svetlana's firm midsection; the Polish girl gave a startled cry before she toppled backwards. Watching from the edge of the ring, Karen saw Svetlana crash awkwardly ringside, and saw with satisfaction that her shoulder block had had its desired effect. If she wanted to, of course, she could wait for Svetlana to get back in the ring with her...but honestly, where would the fun be in that?

As Svetlana was slowly pushing herself back up, Karen ran towards the opposite ropes, and rebounded off of them. The moment she came bouncing back, she leapt forwards through the ropes: unless Svetlana did something to counter or avoid her, Karen hoped to slam right into Svetlana and send her crashing hard into the ringside floor again!

Things went from bad to worse as Svetlana stood up only for Karen to crash into her and send her crumpling to the mat in a heap! Svetlana groaned loudly and kicked in pain with her good leg. Her torso was throbbing but the leg she landed awkwardly on was even worse. That wasn't good. Svetlana would need to fight through the pain to stand back up again but at the moment all she could do was lay flat on her back in agony unable to rise.

Karen was taking a bit of a risk as she launched herself at Svetlana with a suicide dive, but it paid off big time as she collided hard with the Polish girl, knocking her off her feet. As the two wrestlers crashed against the ringside floor, Karen was the first to pick herself up, pushing herself back up to her hands and knees as a dazed Svetlana lay on her back before her. It would have been so easy to drag Svetlana up at that point and whip her into the ringside fence...but Karen was conscious that this was her debut, and she wanted to make a good impression with the audience. Besides which, she didn't want to risk being counted out just yet.

Instead, Karen grabbed a hold of Svetlana's hair to pull her up to her feet. Huffing, she would try to drag Svetlana back to the ring and roll her under the ropes. From there, she would lie across the prone Pole, and hook one of her legs for the pin.

In an instant, the ref was next to them, counting down. "ONE..."

Svetlana was hurting, and as she was hauled up her torso and leg both felt on fire.... She groaned as she was rolled back in the ring and covered, her free leg meekly kicking the mat as she let out another long moan of agony.

"TWO!"

Svetlana shouted and thrust hard to the side, raising her shoulder off the mat and breaking the pin before rolling away. She tried to get up and she felt she could stand but it was clear she was favoring one leg over the other at this point.

Karen cursed as she felt the Polish girl kick out from underneath her. Kneeling upright, she caught her breath as Svetlana rolled away from her, moving somewhat gingerly. It was possible that she might have been more injured than Karen had thought: either way, the Maori wrestler wasn't about to let her get away that easily, not after that near pinfall.

Moving after Svetlana, Karen would try to grab a hold of her opponent's injured leg and yank her back down onto her butt. Once she did so, she would then stand up and try to step over Svetlana's leg in an effort to roll her onto her front, trying to set her up to hook both of her legs and lock in a boston crab!

Svetlana felt her legs grabbed and she was being rolled over. She howled and thrashed about trying to make it hard for Karen to lock the hold in. Svetlana's plan was to thrash around so much that Karen would struggle to get the hold locked in quickly, thus allowing Svetlana to move closer to the ropes. Once the hold was locked in Svetlana only had a short distance to pull before reaching out and grabbing the bottom rope, saving herself a lot of agony or so she hoped!

Karen managed to grab a hold of Svetlana's leg, and managed to tuck it under her armpit. Just as she was attempting to hook Svetlana's other leg, though, the other girl backpedalled furiously, kicking out with her leg enough that she made it impossible for Karen to get a solid grip. Before Karen could try to pull Svetlana back, the other girl had managed to backpedal enough to grab the bottom rope.

Annoyed at Svetlana's tenacity, Karen released Svetlana's leg...but not before kicking her boot against the other girl's thigh, giving the Polish girl's leg a good hard stomp before she backed away from her...

"Ngh!" Svetlana groaned as she got a rope break but Karen took what she thought was a cheap shot at her injured leg. "This is how you fight with a cheap shot? Fine." Svetlana muttered as she pulled herself up, gritting her teeth as she put all the pressure she could on her leg. It hurt but she was doing her best not to show it. Svetlana moved in towards Karen cautiously before letting out a howl and swinging her fists at Karen trying to land a couple body punches before swinging an uppercut at Karen's jaw!
