Quetzalcoatl was resting while waiting for his opponent to climb into the ring to face his adversary. She hoped to find her first opponent but no, the silver-haired woman remained in the ring. Quetzalcoatl got back into position, stretching his arms to warm up while raising an eyebrow and listening to his opponent.

"I'm not a fan of long talks during a match, let's let our fists talk instead!~"

The Sun Goddess smiled mischievously before rushing at her opponent, accepting her opponent's Lock up and standing firmly against her, while continuing to move forward to push her opponent back to the corner where Astrea was.

"You're really weak compared to your friend!"

The Diamond grinned happily as Quetzalcoatl was meeting her for the lock up. "Not a fan of long talks? I'm all talks. It's basically key to literally everything about me. It's how I stand out, really!" said Duncan as either arms both connected with one another. She grunted softly, holding her own as best as she could in their grapple. "But weak...? Come on. We all have our strengths..."

It was pretty clear that Quetz was trying to take her to her own corner, to which Duncan played along with for a bit. "For instance, yours isn't being very smart. Dopey, one might say, is a weakness," said Deanna, suddenly breaking the lock up to slide herself between Quetz's legs and pop up behind her. Then, the craftier member of Black Diamond would leap up and grab for the blonde's head, looking to send her dropping down in a neckbreaker!

During the lock up, the goddess managed to repel her opponent rather easily, which did not surprise her because she considered her current opponent to be weak. Strangely, she quickly felt bored listening to her opponent speak, she found it more boring than useful.

"Shut up and focus."

Quetzalcoatl didn't want to fight against such a boring opponent and went to her corner to tackle her opponent on it and swap places with Astrea, all the goddess wanted was the bigger opponent.

But as she walked, Quetzalcoatl felt the lock up break and in surprise she couldn't react. Her adversary having put herself behind her, Quetzalcoatl hardly began to turn around when she took a neckbreacker head-on.
Quetzalcoatl was pretty badly injured at this point in addition to being slightly stunned. She held her head as she got on her knees before she heard a voice.

"Quetz! Quetz!! Hit my hand!"

It was Astrea on the corner of their teams, asking Quetzalcoatl to switch places. The goddess then reminded herself that she was not alone in this match and that she should not penalize her partner, even if she really wanted revenge on the silver haired woman for this blow.
Quetzalcoatl was already very close to her corners, she only had to lean forward and clap Astrea's hand who entered the ring while Quetzalcoatl came out.

"Take some rest, I'll have no problem defeating her.~"

Lady Justice watched the silver-haired woman intently before taking boxing guard, which was unusual to see in a wrestling match. Astrea was a fast boxer who knew how to counter even the heaviest and most muscular opponents, with the analysis she was able to do at the start of the match she could beat her opponents without too much difficulty.

With a little distraction from her motor mouth, some slick moves, and a big neckbreaker, Deanna Duncan had come out on top of the exchange, popping right back up after it to throw a fist forward. "WHOO! Focus on that, you big dummy!" shouted the Diamond before she turned, watching her crawl over to the corner to Astrea. She would then back up and almost skip around the ring to circle her. "Ooooo... I'll have no problem defeating her. That's what that one said over there before she went running," said Deanna, waving a hand dismissively.

She would then settle in the middle of the ring, ready in a grappler's pose. "So if she's the goddess of the sun, does that make you the goddess of gravity defying tops? Because that chest is outrageous! But more power to you for it!" said Duncan, taking note of the boxing guard that Astrea took up, knowing she wouldn't want to take too many strikes in this match up.

Astrea slowly walked towards her opponent still with her guard tight until she saw her opponent striking a grappler pose. She couldn't help but sigh in disappointment because Astrea knew that a grappler was more advantaged than a boxer.

"It's not a woman with a shirt closed with a belt who is going to give me advice.."

One of Astrea's greatest strengths was her speed, she hit less hard than her partner but her speed and technique was enough for her to dominate the Sun Goddess during their training. Out of selfishness and experience, Astrea kept her boxer style for the time being.

"(she can grab my arm with a jab, she can even block and give me a forward grip if she throws a powerful punch...I need to be smarter.)"

Astrea looked straight into her opponent's eyes, showing her that she didn't hesitate. Some people in the public might think Astrea was stupid but Astrea knew exactly what to do.
She used her speed to take a quick step forward, getting into attack range now. She intended to attack in two stages, the first to quickly jab her left fist towards her opponent's stomach. Astrea was anticipating that her opponent was going to grab her left arm at this moment, Astrea then moved on to second count, raising her right fist while her opponent was unguarded if she grabbed her left arm, delivering an uppercut to her opponent's jaw and hoping as her opponent drops Astrea's left arm in pain.

Deanna Duncan gave a challenging look to Astrea as they got closer to one another. "Babe, you're wearing a literal butt cape. Step off," said the Diamond in jest. She wasn't much of a boxer herself. She had taken some classes while training to be a wrestler, but wrestling was definitely her forte. She loved to grapple women far more. "But what are we doing here? Getting into a little slap fight? What's happening?"

She soon got her response though. Astrea came at her with a strike headed right for her midsection, but Duncan was always far more prepared to avoid strikes like that than to try grabbing at them. She wasn't a masterful grappler by any means. However, after dodging, she was cracked in the chin with an uppercut, staggering back and holding her jaw as she winced. "Gaaaah... oh come on!" She gave her jaw another rub. That had hurt, like a lot, and if she hadn't dodged earlier, it probably would have hurt far more. "I need that to gab!" added Deanna, getting right back into a grappler's pose, waving on Astrea again.

Astrea was rather surprised to see that her opponent preferred to dodge her punches rather than catch her and because of this choice, Astrea's uppercut barely touched her opponent's jaw. But her opponent had just staggered back, grappler or not, Astrea had a slight advantage at this point.

"I'm going to shut you up!"

Astrea takes a powerful step forward to find herself in the clinch of her opponent, this way, Astrea's punches could feel faster and her opponent could have a hard time catching Astrea's arms precisely.
Astrea purposely spoke up so her opponent might think Astrea was going to aim for her jawbone again as she used both fists to punch her opponent's stomach one after the other before stepping back to distance herself. if she didn't get caught.

Deanna got herself ready again, giving an incredulous look to her opponent after her bold declaration. She chuckled and said, "Do you know how many times I've heard that? Like a looooooooot, and I'm still not shut up yet." Duncan would then keep an eye on Astrea, ready to try grabbing her when she got close. When she could grapple, she'd be able to do a good job in this match up. As it would turn out, the Diamond's opponent would step forward, prompting Deanna to go for a lock up, but then she was caught in the jaw with an uppercut again, straightening her up with a grunt of pain.

Then, the two blows to the stomach followed, forcing Deanna to gasp out loud and hold her midsection as she fell to one knee, cringing. The strikes all hit their mark and Duncan was smarting from them. For the moment, at the very least, she was shut up as she gasped for air, trying to get the wind back in her so she could get back into the fight before Astrea would get too much of an advantage from it.

After she was able to connect her two punches to the stomach, Astrea stepped back to put some distance between them. She had just taken risks when fighting with an in-fighter style but now Astrea just had to fight with distance. She then moved into an out-boxer style, standing in profile to her opponent, keeping her right fist up to his chin and her right fist level with his hip.

"You don't talk much, am I too strong for you?~"

Astrea's position was perfect for a flicker jab. She then quickly threw her fists in her opponent's face before swinging him back and throwing him again. The flicker is a boxing technique that allows you to give quick blows to the face of your opponent, not very powerful but many blows.

Deanna held her midsection, smiling up at Astrea through gritted teeth and shrugged a shoulder as she willed herself back up. "No... just mostly trying to figure out why you seem confused about where we are. It's a wrestling ring, not a boxing one," muttered Duncan, clearing her throat as she wiped her mouth.

Then, her opponent started throwing punches towards her face, taking the first two on the face before covering up with both hands. "Gah! Shoot! You need... Grrrr... That's enough! DO WRESTLING!" shouted Duncan as she was under a barrage from her opponent, able to at least block most of the damage now, despite it wearing on her arms. Deanna knew she had to react or else she'd keep being on the receiving end of this.

So react she did. Abruptly, she ducked down, throwing her side to Astrea and attempting to hoist her up onto her shoulders. If successful, she would then try to roll forward aiming to hit a Rolling Fireman's Carry on her opponent with the express intent to get those damn punches to stop. And, further, get her air to stop going to her lungs for a bit with the gut-wrenching maneuver.
