Belinda Northman Vs. Tina Armstrong - Apex Qualifier

[Devastated]

Belinda was staggered and retreating backwards as she tried to regain herself, but it looked as if the Tigress wasn't about to let the young blonde recover. Instead she grabbed a hold of Belinda's head and pulled her in under that armpit. Then yanked on the frame of the blonde, pulling her down by her head straight into the canvas!

"Nnngh!" Belinda grunted out upon impact as she slumped down against the canvas...releasing a few low groans as she tried to roll over onto her side and bring an arm around her head in an attempt to protect it from further abuse.

Tina was doing well so far and she wanted to keep up the momentum. As Belinda hit the mat Tina would try to pull Belinda to a sitting position while getting behind her.

Tina wrapped an arm around the front of Belinda's throat, pulling back while kneeling on Belindas lower back to arch the other grappler as Tina was trying to lock in a dragon sleeper on her opponent!

[Devastated]

The blonde was trying to gather herself and began to move to push herself up to a seated position. To her surprise Tina was there to help her up along to a seated position. Only for her to then pulled the Swedish-American's head back and in under her armpit! Arching the back of Belinda and locking in a dragon sleeper! Belinda would quickly reach up and grab at Tina's arm, trying to pry it off of her.

Releasing a pained groan, Belinda would writhe. Twist and turn from left to right as she tried to find a way to free herself. She would pull and try to pry at that arm of Tina, gnashing her teeth a bit as sought to endure the hold!

Tina felt the desperation in the thrashing of Belinda and she tried to send a few hard strikes with her free arm into the torso of Belinda. Tina was hoping to soften her and keep Belinda in the hold as long as possible. Tina wasn't going to be some glorified stepping stone for the relative newcomer Belinda. Tina would keep her in the hold despite her struggling doing all she could to punish Belinda as much as she could early on.

[Devastated]

As Belinda struggled in the hold, Tina sought it fit to try and quell her attempts to free herself as she hammered away with forearm strikes against the blonde's chest. Forcing grunts of pain out of Belinda as her struggles began to slowly die down. She winced and groaned, as she kept trying to pry at the arm of Tina Armstrong.

Truly living up to her surname, Tina's grip was strong, her arm wouldn't budge and Belinda could feel how she was starting to grow a bit lightheaded. Though Belinda knew that she couldn't give in, she had to try and find a way to fight back! Her legs would bend at the knee, trying to place her soles against the canvas and start to push them upwards. Fighting tooth and nail to force the pair up to their feet!

Tina felt Belinda forcing the two of them up to their feet. Tina knew the hold wouldn't work so she let go, trying to shove Belinda away before crouching low. Tina was hoping that when Belinda moved towards her she could position herself to move in and grab Belinda to lift her in the air before dumping her on the mat for a spine buster! Of course Belinda may have recovered more quickly and been aware enough to counter this attempt.

[Devastated]

Pushing upwards, Belinda fought valiantly to push herself and Tina up towards their feet. It was working rather well at that, as she managed to get them both to their feet only for Tina to quickly shove her away! Belinda stumbled forward a few steps and then quickly spun around. Seeing Tina crouching low as she did...Belinda figured she had to act quickly if she wanted to get back into this match!

As Tina closed in on her, Belinda would quickly try and intercept her foe! Looking to grab at her foe's head and then rocket her right knee up, aiming to smash it into Tina's face as she tried to stun and hopefully knock Tina sort of loopy for a moment, so she could catch her breath.

Tina's head snapped back as the knee strike smashed her in the face sending her stumbling back before the tigress fell to the mat on her knees! She covered her face in her hands as he bobbed about in a daze. Tina tried to shake it off, staggering back to her feet on limp legs as she hobbled about. She was wide open for Belinda to follow up against this was not good at all for the tigress!

[Devastated]

Acting quickly, Belinda charged forward a step and intercepted Tina's attempted spinebuster. Instead of that happening Belinda caught Tina off guard with a knee straight to the face! Knocking the fellow blonde onto her knees. Belinda would back up a few steps, huffing out for a moment as she watched Tina get up to her feet on those shaky legs of hers.

Belinda would try and move in! Looking to grab a hold of Tina's head and guide it in under her armpit. She'd reach out and try to grab Tina's leg, aiming to hook it up and then with a heave try and lift Tina up into the air! Looking to twist the Tigress around before trying to drop her down with a Fisherman Driver!

Tina was still reeling from the counter when Belinda grabbed hold of her and lift her up, driving her down head-first to the mat! Tina hit the mat and her skull was throbbing, and her body limply flopped to the canvas afterward leaving her laid out in the aftermath of Belinda's offense. The tigress was down, writhing on the mat and still wondering how this had happened to her.
