Ryu Hiroshi vs Misaki Toyoda - Japanese Pride II

With one move being transitioned into another, Ryu was really going hard against the Ace of Berserk who was struggling against a former champion. After ramming her down hard onto her back, he targeted Misaki's back once more by pulling her up and locking in a crushing bearhug submission. Misaki would scream out and throw her head back causing him to lean onto her and keep her close to him to ensure that he could squeeze her as tightly as he could. The Dragon kept squeezing with all his might and sooner rather than later the Ace began to tap much to his surprise.

He felt the tap and he immediately let go, dropping her down onto her back while looking down on her with an annoyed look. He knew that Misaki only tapped because she wanted to conserve her energy for the latter part of this round which was not a strategy that he was willing to accept. He would place his boot onto her abdomen and look down on her. "I know this wasn't your best. Face me like the real champion you are Misaki-san! I will not accept anything but your best" he said removing his foot and back up.

"Take all the time you need to rest up and then face me, Toyoda-san" he said challenging her head on to lock up.

Forced to tap out to her opponent, Misaki was then let go from the hold, and as she was laid out on the mat, she felt Ryu planting his foot on her abdomen. Grunting, she listened to Ryu's words before she picked herself up after Ryu removed his foot from her. Feeling a little disappointed in herself, she swore to herself that she would do better after this.

"Hnnh... alright..." Misaki said as she would take her time to recover her strength. Ryu had gotten one point over her, and she needed to work hard in order to return the favor.

She took about at least one minute to catch her breath at the corner before she stepped up before Ryu. She had a look of determination on her face as she was ready to face Ryu again. Seeing the challenge for the lock up, Misaki raised her hands, seemingly ready to grapple with him. Surging forth, she seemed to be going to lock up with Ryu again, but it was merely a feint as she would quickly slip behind him as she got closer.

This time, she would try to grab one of Ryu's arms and twist it to his back. Then, she would use her other hand to clutch on her opponent's head, yanking at it, putting him into a crossface chickenwing. With Ryu being taller than her, he would have to lean back as she would apply the hold on him.

The former champion took up a point against another former champion at Berserk and the male wrestler felt pretty good about himself. Misaki had put up a good fight but he had managed to out-wrestle one of the best wrestlers in Japan and made her submit. His bronze body glistened in sweat as he placed his boot over her abdomen and triumphantly posed over her as the winner of the first fall after just fifteen minutes. They had a lot of time but he was ahead and that is what mattered. The crowd cheered both for Ryu and to encourage Misaki and soon after she would get back up after hearing Ryu's words she seemed more determined.

The two would square up once more, face to face in the middle of the ring as the two glared into each other's eyes. Intensity and tension filled the arena before Ryu challenged his opponent to lock up. At first, it seemed she was ready to accept but she feigned in and got behind trapping him in a chickenwing crossface.

"Nrgh not bad....but...." he grunted using his free hand to clutch her forearm wrapped around his neck and trying to pry it off using his strength. He was at an awkward position being bent back a bit but he hoped he his strength would be able to break out of one of the submission.

Trapping Ryu in the crossface chickenwing, Misaki would try to weaken him using the move, though with him attempting to pry himself free, it would be hard to maintain the hold for long. So, after a while, Misaki would release him from the crossface chickenwing, but the moment she let him go, she would kick him right at the back of his knee, forcing him to drop down onto his knees.

With that, Misaki would bring her arm around Ryu's head, lowering herself down, bending his body backwards as she would subject him to a dragon sleeper. Clamping his head under her armpit, she would make sure to wrench his head in the hold, hoping to weaken him even further to get herself a point over him in this match.

Trapped in the chickenwing crossface, Ryu was quite confident in his ability to escape the submission. With one hand free, he would reach up to grab Misaki's forearm to try and pry it off but the Ace had other ideas. She would keep him trapped and wrestle against his resistance before suddenly releasing him altogether only to send a firm kick to the back of his knee. "Ah!" he gasped from the sudden jerk he felt on the back of his knee which forced him to go down onto one knee.

From there, Misaki would quickly lower herself against the man's back to wrap her arm around his head and firmly trapping his head under her armpit for a dragon sleeper. "Mngh! *cough* Gah!" he coughed and gasped in pain from the sudden submission. Ryu's hands were flailing about in the air while he was struggling to breathe in this submission. His bronze body glistening in sweat under the ring light as the Ace had him subdued.

He let out muffled groans, getting weaker from the submission as his arms fell down to their side while he struggled but refused to submit to his opponent.

Holding Ryu in the dragon sleeper, Misaki would wrench his head as hard as she could, but it seemed that Ryu refused to submit to her, so she needed to add more pain into the hold. While she continued wrenching his head, Misaki would also press her knee against his back, adding more pain into the submission hold.

"How about now? You should submit if you know what's good for you." Misaki declared firmly as she would continue torturing Ryu's body in the hold where she target his head and back.

Still trapped in the submission, the Dragon was ironically trapped in the Dragon sleeper and was really struggling to escape. He managed to grab her underarm to push it off his neck by bringing it up to his face but the Ace was determined and held onto him to keep him trapped in the submission. He would breathe heavily and cough, he was fading fast and he knew he had to do something to escape quick. His struggles intensified but Misaki had a plan to counter that.

She would raise her knee up into his lower back, grinding it hard against his back to keep the pain on him. "Nrgh! Owww" he moaned. He realized he was in trouble and would take Misaki's offer this time, using his hand to tap her arm and signal his submission.

Having Ryu trapped in the dragon sleeper while pressing her knee against his back, Misaki knew that her opponent wouldn't be able to escape this, and the only viable way to get himself out of this would be to submit. And sure enough, Ryu tapped to her arm, and she earned herself a score over the man. For now, the two of them were even, and Misaki knew that she needed to get more falls than him in order to win.

Letting go of Ryu's head, Misaki stepped back as she looked at Ryu. "Alright, hope you're ready for next. I'm not slowing down now." Hopping on the balls of her feet, the Ace of Berserk was going to continue with her momentum to defeat her opponent in this match.

Ironically, the wrestler nick named the Dragon was trapped in a dragon sleeper submission with Misaki choosing to up the game by pressing her knee against his back to really crank up the hold. Ryu was already fading fast in the submission and when she decided to really give it her all, desperate for that first submission, he would have no choice but to submit rather than risk losing a fall via a knock-out. After tapping her arm, Misaki would release the male wrestler as he dropped to the mat before rolling over onto his belly. He would clutch his back and take a moment to catch his breath as the referee intervened between the two and checked up on him.

"I-I'm fine" he waved away the referee as he got back up to his knees, panting heavily and sweating while glaring at Toyoda. She was eager to continue and Ryu would indulge her as he got back up to his feet and raised his arms up in front of her. "Nor will I" he responded to her stating she won't slow down. With that he would lunge at her, looking to lock up with her in a collar and elbow grapple. However, if she decided to lock up he would not try to push her back but instead look to raise his knee into her belly and go for a quick DDT!

Readying herself for her next clash with Ryu, Misaki watched her opponent to see what he was up to next. Then, Ryu came over to her, seemingly looking to lock up with her. But as he got closer, Ryu instead went for a knee strike to her stomach, probably to have her double over so that he could grab her by her head.

But Misaki had already anticipated this, so she would catch the incoming knee strike with her hands, and from there, she would yank his leg, attempting to have him drop onto his back. After that, she would reach down to his other leg, grabbing them together before attempting to get those legs around one of hers and then rolling him over to put him into a sharpshooter!
