Punie could only squeeze and hope for the best at this point. She’d squeeze with whatever energy she’s got left.

It was over. Nikki faded into unconsciousness, and the match was called. All that was left was the time. If Punie got the KO in 1:58 or less, she won. If it took 2:00 or more, then Nikki won. If it was 1:59, then the match was a draw.

Punie let go and let Nikki get some much needed air as she waited for the time to be announced.

When Nikki woke up, Punie still looked tense. It seemed like they hadn't told her the outcome yet, and were waiting on Nikki to wake. But the time was not kept hidden from the crowd, and they were going batshit. Not cheering, just chaos. The ref came to formally announce the result. "The time for Punie Victoria to KO Nikki Lane was... 1:59."

"Wait," Nikki said. "Wasn't my time..."

"As the time to beat was also 1:59, by rule, the match is a draw."

"Oh my fucking God."

Punie: we tied?! All that for nothing?!

Well not nothing as the two were equals in the submission game this means Punie has one hell of a sparing partner and dare I say friend.

"All that... and NEITHER OF US WON?!" Nikki held much the same view as Punie. Better than losing of course, but unsatisfying nonetheless. "Fuck," she spat. "I don't know about you Punie, but after this, I'm going to bed and not getting up for at least a solid weekend."

Punie: well at least we’re in agreement but you know sooner or later we’ll have to have a rematch.
