Nikki's legs did a lot of work in the last round with the lotus lock, but now she needed them to do just a bit more to put Punie under quick now in the headscissor. Nikki had fought too hard and endured too much to lose now.

Nikki had to put her legs to work if she wanted to win. Nikki knew she wouldn't last nearly as long with a chokehold as with the submissions, so she had to put Punie down fast.

Punks grunts and with each second she felt Nikki’s legs squeeze down on her.

Nikki felt comfortable in that she still had some time to put Punie down before the blonde believed she'd be in serious danger of not being able to last, but knowing herself, it was still the sooner the better to knock out Punie.

If nothing else, Nikki was getting proof that her headscissor was effective. As Punie chokingly managing to point out, her face was beginning to turn blue from lack of oxygen.
