Isabella Brandt vs Scarlaheart - Tyrant vs Heir: Apex Qualifier Match

To those who it may surprise, Maria wasn’t a stranger to pain. Training with it used to be her forte, a sign that she was resisting her own limitations, striving higher, scraping by with the skin grinding off her finger-tips as she climbed a rock wall. But now this brought a whole other response. It made her retreat and finicky. Being suplexed about knocked the energy from her body, to just lay and let it pass. Don’t fight. You don’t need to. What good was getting up with it anymore? Well, in this fight, it was to not lay her mercy into the hands of Isabella. She peered up, blinking slow as her arms folded up, grabbed their forearms and tried her damndest to muster up a glare as Isabella took her legs high.

The pain was sharp and echoing. “GH!” She bit her teeth, closed both eyes and curled her nose. The next one she yelped, and the third was a whimper. Her breath skipped to a faster beat, and her mouth opened to pant in its aftermath. The pain made her sick and it didn’t relax. It continued to stab. So she opened her eyes, gripped their arms tighter, picked up her knees as she shoved her feet from the canvas. The momentum saw her hips roll, then she punched the air with her legs, pulling on Isa’s grip and making a jerk with one shoulder in hopes to pop out of their confinement, then roll away towards the ropes, holding her side.

Driving her knee over and over into Maria, Isabella had decided that she wasn't going to show any mercy. She wasn't here to play with some lazy redhead, she was here to compete. If her foe wasn't willing to put up the level of challenge which she wanted then she would simply deliver the level she wanted even if her opponent couldn't keep up, or wouldn't. She hammered her knee into the redhead's body against and again. After a few of these shots though, Maria jerked and pushed herself away.

Losing her grip on Maria's and letting her slip away out of her grip did annoy Isabella a bit. Though if Maria was planning to put up a bit of a fight then Isabella wasn't about to complain. She would rise up towards her feet and bounce a bit on the balls of her feet. Nodding her head as she saw Maria hold her side as she laid by the ropes...

Following a second of composing herself. Isabella would suddenly take to a blindingly fast sprint! Running towards Maria and aiming to go into a slide. Trying to drive her boots into Scarlaheart and go for a sliding dropkick straight into Maria's frame, looking to shoot her right out of the ring under the bottom ropes.

The blotch of skin on her side is a field of roses with a lavender core. Maria’s relationship with pain had a lot of baggage. She didn’t fancy an ounce of it. The mere threat made her tense up. Run. Hesitate. It was often this sluggish state that eased her through, but now she was biting the bullet, running with her body’s tumble to the ropes. Her breathing was deep and hissing. An eye was shut and she laid belly-up.

She grabbed the middle rope with an extended arm. Seconds were taken. Precious like water and blood. Isabella’s rapid approach was no secret, as her ears could hear the thunder and was attracted to it. “TSK!” That arm that held the rope could’ve been pulled. It’s an easy solution. She ran over it a hundred times in a single second, to yank, then drop on them. But she was paralyzed, and the blow battered her ribs and side, sending the Reinhardt to the outside. Her body clapped. Organs bounced and swam, re-arranged then swelled. She could feel her bones ache. Shoulder-blades eat themselves. And a feeling of nausea, let out by a few short coughs after the initial yelp. Her eyes felt heavier. She turned to one side to begin re-collecting, going onto her elbows and knees, looking down at the floor like it bore her reflection.

Rushing towards the seemingly stunned Scarlaheart, Isabella drove her feet into that midsection of hers and sent the redhead tumbling out of the ring. Though Isabella didn't stop there as she would continue to and slip out of the squared circle. Getting down on her feet next to where Maria had collapsed on the barely padded mats. Isabella would watch Maria for a moment, seeing her try to re-collect herself and push herself up to her hands and knees.

The referee was getting ready to start a ring out count as the two wrestlers had both left the squared circle. Though Isabella had something she was intending to do first. After all she wasn't exactly going to let Maria off easily after her dismissive attitude and attempts to just leave the ring earlier. Isabella would bend down and try and wrap her arms around Maria's waist and with a heave the blonde would try and peel her off of the floor, looking to deadlift her and throw her back over head with a deadlift German Suplex!

All the while the referee threw up her hand into the air and yelled out. "One!" Starting that ring-out count!

Scarlaheart was but a heap on the floor. A puppet pulled on by strings, raising her elbows, tucking in her knees. All was progress, all was ringing, and all was swimming. She watched her doubling hands, blinking slowly with heavy eyelids. “Buggh…” The grip around her waist made her suck in, with hands on her waist, she face-planted the mat and held on, trying to break the grip. Up and up she went. Wind caught her hair and her legs flung up in an upward cleave. Scarlaheart’s features clammed up, bracing then breaking when she splatted neck and shoulder first! “GNNGH!” Maria’s legs were stuck in the air, kicking idly as she continued to hold onto Isabella’s grip.

"TWO!" The referee shouted.

Isabella's suplex was fairly picture perfect. For a woman who dressed herself in the colors of the German flag, she certainly had the claim of being able to pull off an impressive looking German Suplex! She kept her arms around Scarlaheart's waist after the suplex. Not that she had any intent to release her even if those hands weren't still clasping onto her arms.

"THREE!..." the referee continued their count as the two women remained on the outside. Though Isabella didn't intend to keep them out there any longer, she wanted to take this match back into the ring.

The blonde took a deep breath and would roll them both to the side, before starting to push them up. Rising to her knees and then to her feet as she aimed to pull Maria up with her. Isabella would then try and break the hold of that waist, grabbing onto a handful of that red mane and then a handful of her shorts. Looking to guide her towards the edge of the ring to throw her in under the bottom ropes. After which the blonde would move up onto the ring apron and try to climb in between the ropes.

Being inverted just was… disorienting. Slam got your neck, head and shoulders in a pinching spot. But being upside-down, blood all up in your face, turning you redder, making you feel a little ill after taking that slam -- made her groan twice. Didn’t much protest being pulled around to her side, up and onto her feet. She’s still going for a spin in her head, tossed up and rolled beneath the bottom ropes. She stopped on her front, propped on her elbows and looking down at herself. Took a moment but she started picking herself off the ground. On one knee first, then a hand pushed off, balancing then piling her hands on one knee to push and get to her feet. If Isabella got inside the ring, she’d shove on her shoulders to get her against the ropes, then blade her stance, rev up her arm and throw a chop at their chest!

[Devastated]

At the moment, Isabella was feeling fairly confident. Not that wasn't the usual feeling she had in a match, but this time it was more so than usual. She rolled Scarlaheart into the ring and soon followed. Moving up to the ring apron, where she would proceed to climb in between the ropes. Moving into the squared circle, Isabella was a bit surprised to see the redhead up on her feet and moving up to her, grabbing a hold of the blonde's shoulder and pushing her back against the ropes.

The sudden crack of sound came as Maria's hand chopped across the generous chest of Isabella. " Guh!" The blonde grunted, followed by a loud hiss of pain. She grit her teeth and leaned forward a bit. She hadn't expected Maria to retaliate so quickly so it had taken her aback a fair bit, and it was never a nice feeling to be chopped across the chest in that manner.

One skill that’s easy to get satisfaction from. A skin-sizzling chop that made the front row cringe just a little. Feel bad for the recipient, fear the attacker. Maria took a moment to breathe in and out. It’s well earned respite. However, she knew Isabella was eager for more. So, she stepped back once, then tried to kick them in the knee. Her hands came together, dropped on their head with an axe-handle blow in hopes to drop them to one knee. She’d turn around, make a sprint for the opposite ropes -- come sprinting for Isabella head-on, with no dipping for a spear nor jumping for a dropkick. Nay -- she’d use that postured out knee as her launch pad, step-up and bring her other knee crashing into their face!

The stinging sensation that remained on her skin and flesh after that chop was enough to leave Isabella hissing for a few more seconds. Though it would take a few more hits for the skin to show any proper signs of abuse, that didn't mean it didn't hurt. Though Maria didn't look as if she would go for more chops, instead it served only as an appetizer for things to come.

Scarlaheart's boot met Isabella's knee and forced her to buckle. Yet she didn't know down yet, it wasn't until after that double axe handle made impact with her head, battering the blonde down onto one knee and leaving her a bit dazed. Then as Maria ran to the ropes, Isabella wasn't in the position to fight back against her when she came but, only barely managing to clear the cobwebs before that knee made a nasty impact with her forehead! Knocking the senses out of Isabella's head momentarily and dropping her flat down onto her back.
