It took an extended moment for Valerie to awaken, as she groaned a bit from the blow and was stirred awake though had been a bit understandable confused. What the hell happened? One minute she was preparing for a match, the next she seemed to be flat on her back with her opponent seemingly trying to offer a peace.

Then it all clicked.

Valerie seemed unsure how she'd respond, the emotions of losing in such agonizingly humiliating fashion was a lot even for someone who claimed to be of the undead. Though surely a display of sportsmanship was an easy enough token to accept?
A thud sounded as Valerie smacked Selene's hand aside, the boos followed after as Valerie worked her way to her feet. The emotion was hard to mask as the eyes showed so much pain, anger and sadness as she none the less tried to hold he chin high and began to walk away.

"Save the speech. I don't need it, least of all from you..."

Selene maintained her smile, even after her friendly gesture was rudely rebuffed by Valerie. "Alrighty then." The bronzette shrugged and stood up. "I'll see yah when I see yah I guess." She nonchalantly bid her opponent farewell before she started celebrating her victory again. Like before, she jumped atop a corner and adopted the zeus pose where she indulged in the cheers of the crowds and basked in her own glory.
