L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Marissa's eyes hardened, it was hard not to get flustered with the way the Champion was responding to her, definitely had the confidence and poise to conduct as a champion. The two of them were glaring into each other's eyes as neither one was backing down at the moment. But Marissa harden gaze would soften, there was no reason to get this angry after all, she was aspiring to be like Kyoko.

"Fair enough. It's true I haven't done anything to really prove why I should be considered a Belly Queen Champion...but I like to set my sights high." she replied, "How about for my first match. You and me? Don't worry about putting that title on the line, I can wait until you accept me as a rightful challenger."

The two stared each other down, Kyoko trying to see if she was serious or just talking trash, then again a rookie wouldn't be able to prove anything unless she showed her what she was capable of. Though Marissa seemed to realize this and backed off first, conceding that Kyoko had the advantage of experience but then said she wanted to be the one next in line for a shot at her belt by challenging her to a match.

"You want to challenge me to a match? As your debut? And everything is telling you that's a good idea? You do realize its more likely you just get your ass kicked worse then the girl I fought in my debut right?" Kyoko said cocking her head as she eyed up Marissa.

Kyoko was cocky as she should, Marissa having no prior evidence saying that this would go her way for her debut match. And it may result in a crushing loss, but Marissa was going to try it. If she could show that she could hang with the Champion on her first match, there was plenty to show later on when she started the climb up the ladder towards a title shot!

"Do you have wax in your ear or are you just that bad at hearing? I want you in a match." she declared again, "And it's not about how much of my ass you'll kick, because I know you will. It's if kicking my ass will be enough to keep me down."

"No I heard you just fine, I'm just making sure you realize what you've said cause its asking for trouble I promise you that much. And yo answer that second question, its yes, you will stay down. And its going to really suck for you." Kyoko winked as she looked at Marissa, hardly the worst debut but she still had much more to do. And now that things seemed to be settled here she had to go and take care of the business she came her for.

"Well if there's nothing else I'm going to go and take care of some other things, catch you around Marissa. And good luck in your debut, its going to hurt." She said patting Marissa's stomach as she walked by her and headed towards another corridor looking for her bosses office.

Marissa saw that Kyoko wasn't flinching, not being rattled by Marissa's own self confidence of facing her in the ring. In a way, that kind of self-assurance was admirable. Didn't change the fact that Marissa wanted to beat her even more just to prove herself worthy of fighting for that Championship as Kyoko walked past her, patting her stomach as she walked off.

Marissa gave a smile back as her newly declared rival walked off, she patted her fist against her hand. Now she had to track down her manager to set this match, turning heel and quickly racing off. Her skin was tingling, she couldn't believe the luck! She was excited of the turn of events. She wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by her!
