Despite expending the effort and energy to get some leverage and make her way to the rope, and hooking with her leg, The Super Kitty wasn't freed- not immediately, at least! The thick, muscular legs of The Iron Soldier remained scissored around Kat's hurt arm and shoulder! The luchadora kicked against the canvas in pain as she tried to wriggle free upon earning the rope break, as if expecting Zarya to let go. But Volkov persisted!

"Grrr! Rargh! You witch!" Kat protested as Zarya used almost the entire duration of the count to do as much damage as possible and keep the Cross Arm Breaker applied! Truly the sadistic, evil Russian lived up to her self proclaimed "hitwoman" occupation. She attacked the famed, loved Katherine Hart backstage and did whatever she could to legally or illegally exacerbate the hurt arm to the point of submission, injury or both!

Upon being freed from the hold just a hare's breadth before the count of five could be reached and a disqualification could be called, Katherine rolled onto her stomach away from Zarya. She held her hurt arm and clenched her teeth in pain. The heavyweight blonde was in trouble. The audience booed Zarya intensely as she got up and tried to capitalize on her own shady tactics. And sure enough, she'd go on to do just that. Volkov would assert that this was only the beginning, and as she did, she'd pull Katherine up off the mat and throw her towards the ropes with a forceful Irish Whip. Kat would ricochet off the ropes and pick up speed before adjusting her running form and coming at Zarya with a full head of steam! The Super Kitty would tap into her roots as attempt to run towards her Russian foe's side and hook her arm around Zarya's own. This next move would be easier to execute if Volkov had raised her arm for a Clothesline or similar strike.

Kat would attempt to swing around behind her foe and leap up to wrap her legs around her foe's other arm. She'd attempt to take the relentless Iron Soldier down with a Crucifix Armbar and transition to a Crucifix Pin! If all went according to plan, the blonde heavyweight would forego the pin after the count of one and push her foe onto her stomach. She'd try to keep her legs scissored around Zarya's arm to facilitate her end goal of ensnaring the woman in a Crossface submission hold! Should the elaborate combination be successful, the audience would cheer Katherine's resourcefulness as she wrenched her foe's arm and neck to try and even out the playing field and give Volkov some aches and pains to match Katherine's own!

Zarya Volkov hurled her enemy into the ropes and waited for the rebound, ready to take her head off with a clothesline, eager to continue the blondes suffering. What happened next was as frustrating for the Iron Soldier as it was exhilarating for the crowd to experience.

Zarya charged in with a lariat.... but struck empty air. Before the Russians eyes could track Katherine's movements, the luchadora was already using her as leverage to swing up and wrapped strong legs around Zarya's opposite arm in a crucifix. The pain from the tension placed on her shoulders was intense and immediate, but nothing the Soldier couldn't deal with.

It didn't last long. Hart threw her weight backwards and even the brutal Zarya couldn't keep from falling backwards, finding her shoulders and the back of her head pressed against the mat. A crucifix pin, but again, nothing to worry about. She wasn't getting pinned this early. Of course, while Zarya was focused on getting her shoulder up, she misread Hart's movements, and the russian gave a growl of frustration along with a slap to the mat as she was maneuvered onto her stomach. Then the Super Kitty trapped her arm and locked in the crossface.

Then the pain returned, the burning sear of hyper extended muscles and stretched ligaments. The crowd was roaring in approval and Zarya thrashed in Katherine's grip like an animal. With her free hand working on concert with her legs, she began the slow process of dragging herself, and the other heavyweight to the ropes, grasping for them the moment they were in range!

With an impressive technical combination and transitions, The Super Kitty was able to find a way turn the tides and floor Zarya. With her end goal in this effort realized, the heavyweight blonde locked her aggressor into a Crossface submission! The cold, disrespectful Russian thrashed about as her arm and neck were extended and stretched! And Katherine interlocked her fingers and cupped the brute's chin! The Super Kitty flexed her thick, powerful legs and maintained her hold! She was bent on giving Zarya the same levels of shoulder and neck pain that Zarya had inflicted upon her! The audience roared out and so did Katherine. Was the Iron Soldier about to get her comeuppance and tap?!

"WHADDYA SAY, ZARYA?!" Katherine roared out as she pulled back and torqued the red clad heavyweight's arm and neck. Kat had asked her question to hype herself up more than anything else. This luchadora always made an effort to prevent her confidence from becoming hubris. Even before Zarya attacked her backstage, she knew of the hitwoman's exploits. A submission likely wouldn't be earned here, but pain comparable to the blow Volkov had dealt to The Super Kitty's pride? Katherine's renowned proficiency with submission holds would help see to it that Zarya would be feeling that for at least some time!

Eventually, the bucking, flailing Russian would come close to the ropes, and when she did, Kat would extend her leg and break the hold on Zarya's arm to thrust her foot into the bottom rope and push it further away, just out of Zarya's grasp, so that she could keep the hold locked in for a few more precious seconds of well deserved pain and retribution! If Kat managed to pull this off, the referee would kneel down and ask Zarya if she wanted to give it up!
