I should note, to anyone who didn't follow this discussion on Discord, that this idea was inspired by a feature in the old in-kayfabe Bill Apter wrestling magazines (Pro Wrestling Illustrated, The Wrestler, Sports Review Wrestling, etc.) which would rank the top wrestlers in each major promotion, and the discussion came up when proposing a community-written LAW Magazine. However, this wasn't the only feature the Apter mags had, and there are plenty of other ways to showcase characters in a magazine-type format, like people have been saying. Match reviews, interviews, veterans writing on debuting rookies, reporters leaking a wrestler's secret chili recipe (yes, the Apter mags actually did this once) - there's plenty of potential, and we don't need to introduce a divisive idea. Here's a great article on the subject if you want to see some ways a magazine could work.

I feel like power rankings would go against the decentralized nature of LAW imo. Yeah, there are title matches and PPV's but for the most part it feels more like a collection of loosely connected (if even) wrestlers kinda doing their own thing. I read matches on here of course but I don't know what is going on with every single wrestler on the site (including ones that are likely in title contention) and I'd imagine many others are the same so it isn't like an irl wrestling promotion where the top talent is presented right in front of the viewer.

Maybe something that is more gathered on moments or at the very most matches? ie, "Top __ pins/submissions/knockouts of the (insert timespan here)" or "Top __ matches of the year" for a new years edition or something like that. Could even focus on other things like top entrances, top turns, etc.
