Sally would attempt to tighten the head lock while her opponent tried to part the blonde's elbow from it's position, trying to get free from the headlock. Sally would grumble as she tried to stop her opponent from getting free, she knew that this early in the match Yuki likely wouldn't take too long to escape such a textbook submission, but she still didn't want to lose her advantage.

Before Sally could think of a way to transition to a different hold though Yuki would slide free of the headlock. Sally at first trying to grab her, and just barely missing her foe with her arms. The blonde then trying to back up momentarily instead, just in cause the likely quicker lightweight tried to pull a fast one on her.

" C'mon, I'm not done beating ya up yet. " Sally complained, not too satisfied with the limited damage she had inflicted so far. Sally would cautiously close the distance between the two wrestlers somewhat, not charging in since she was quite literally a bigger target than Yuki, and didn't want to get caught.

It would take a few tugs for Yuki to extract herself from Sally's headlock, and she clenched her teeth, groaning in frustration. While the blonde seemingly didn't have the strength to match her greater size, she still wasn't going to give it up so easily. But with her continued persistence, Yuki was able to pull free. Not a moment later, Sally reached out to grab at her, but the dark-haired girl doubled back from her opponent, allowing Sally to release her hold on her completely as she tried unsuccessfully to transition into another hold.

Narrowing her eyes, Yuki faced Sally down, staying where she was. Her fists balled at her sides, and she watched her opponent carefully, preparing herself to make the right move at the right time. "Well...neither am I," came Yuki's retort as Sally came closer. Just as she seemed to come into range, Yuki would swing her leg up to unleash a kick aimed at Sally's midsection, interrupting her advances.

Sally was a little rash in trying to approach Yuki, not taking into consideration that the lightweight might be flexible enough to make up for her inferior range with a leg strike. The blonde thought she wasn't yet in Yuki's range, and wouldn't even be able to brace herself for the strike before her foe's kick nailed her In the midsection.

" Ugh. " Sally groaned quickly, keeling over momentarily and slumping forward, before quickly realising that she had messed up her advance, trying to correct her posture and opting to step to the side while nursing her pained stomach.

" Then bring it, small stuff. " Sally taunted, being unable to resist firing back even when she was in the disadvantaged position. Sally's body was pained from the kick, but she had a tendency to irritate foes and by extension take worse beatings, so while she wasn't tough enough to brush the strike off, she could at least try to flee, hopefully effectively enough that Yuki couldn't press her advantage.

Yuki's reflexes were quick, and her mind was a well-honed strategic one, allowing her to anticipate when Sally would come toward her and to judge when would be the perfect moment for her to counter. Sure enough, Sally delivered herself right into her range; her kick hit its mark, and Sally was left doubled over. Yuki was keeping things under control around her, and she would ensure her opponents would think twice before charging in toward her at point blank.

Sally straightened herself, and Yuki took a step back, shaking out her arms as she locked her eyes onto her opponent. She bit her lip, hearing the blonde's taunts, and began to respond with a "What did you just-" before she caught herself. She couldn't let herself get distracted about such things; she would need her fists to do the talking. And that was what she would do, as next she would run forward to close the distance, her arm raised to connect with a clothesline!

As Sally stepped to the side, still nursing her stomach, she heard Yuki's frustration at her taunt. The blonde had hoped that she could distract her foe enough to retreat, but unfortunately her taunt had the opposite effect as Yuki quickly covered the small space between them, and slammed her arm Into Sally's chest and collar, knocking the taller wrestler partly onto her side, and partly onto her side.

" Augh! " Sally grumbled, as she hit the canvas, before maneuvering onto her back. The clothesline hurt, but it wasn't debilitating, though the fact it had left Sally in a vulnerable spot was likely enough of a triumph for the smaller wrestler.

Sally would try to sit up quickly, ignoring the lingering pain in her chest, the blonde had the intention of getting to her feet, but she braced herself for another blow as she moved, figuring that Yuki likely wouldn't be complacent enough to let her rise from a sitting position to a standing one.

Something about Sally's taunts was rubbing Yuki the wrong way. Despite her youth and small size, the girl was determined to prove herself as a worthy competitor, and she refused to be taken any way less than seriously - especially now, when she was on somewhat of a comeback tour. So when Sally began mocking her over it, it crossed a line! She wouldn't let her get away with this, and her next move, she hoped, would be enough to prove that her stature wasn't going to keep her down.

Coming charging closer, Yuki connected her arm with Sally's chest with enough force to send her toppling off her feet. Yuki stepped back, surveying the scene, as she took in a breath. Now that Sally was down, she would be in the right spot for Yuki to keep up with her assault, and a moment later she closed in to throw herself down on top of the blonde, her arm raised again, this time to deliver an elbow drop. Whether or not Sally would be prepared for it was another story.

Sally would turn around just in time to see Yuki heading her way, but the scrappy midweight wasn't quick enough to react, trying to think of an escape route as Yuki threw her body into the air, by which point it was too late to dodge.

" Augh! " Sally cried out, her body bouncing slightly from the recoil of her foe's body connecting with her, the blonde being nailed hard with an elbow drop.

Sally would try to push her opponent away from her after the impact, and slither away to the side. The proud Sally now trying to crawl away from the wrestler she had affectionately nicknamed the runt.

Sally hurt in a few different areas of her body, thanks to the consistent offence Yuki had been hitting her with lately. It was good that the blonde was good at taking a beating, since she was definitely being given one.

"Hmph..." Yuki looked back up as she rolled to the side, watching as Sally pushed her off and then began to slowly pull away. She didn't fight it. With her eyes narrowed, she took a moment to survey the situation. If Sally was still down, Yuki figured she had to be proving her point well enough; she had evidently been wearing her down enough to keep her grounded. That meant she just had to keep things up. And, if the blonde found herself unable to rise, Yuki had her lined up to go for an even harder-hitting attack!

Pushing herself back to her feet, Yuki went next to ascend the ropes, keeping her eyes on Sally. If she was still crawling by the time Yuki had gotten to a greater height, the dark-haired girl would spring off the ropes with her fists raised overhead, prepared to come crashing down with a double axe handle against her back!

Sally would move into all fours, still ignorant to whatever her foe was planning, facing in the opposite direction as she started to recover, and work her way up to her feet.

The blonde as she slowly stood up, quickly looked behind her to check what Yuki was up to, seeing her climbing the turn buckle, Sally immediately turning her head forward to pretend she didn't see anything, deceiving the other wrestler into thinking she wasn't knowledgable about what was coming her way.

Then Sally slowly turned her whole body around towards Yuki, playing possum as she stepped closer in the progress. Then when Yuki leaped from the corner, Sally would adjust her position to gather momentum, before swinging her arm upwards, trying to catch the lightweight with an uppercut as she was descending to her.

If successful in her reversal, then Sally would barely take damage, simply stepping back a step back from the recoil of the impact created from the weight of Yuki colliding with her upper arm

Sally wouldn't even see it coming, she was sure of that. Yuki looked down from the ropes to see that things looked to be lined up perfectly; all she had to do was throw herself forward and let gravity do the rest. Her arms were drawn overhead, her fists balled and ready to deliver a hammer-like blow. She could feel the gust of wind beneath her as she closed in on Sally, anticipating when the two would collide.

Yuki was used to being agile and striking quickly, landing her attacks before her opponents had a chance to react. She was also sure that Sally was wounded and weary, and a prime target - which meant it came as a surprise to Yuki when Sally managed to counter at the last minute! As Yuki fell towards the blonde, Sally got her fist up quickly enough for Yuki's eyes to go wide at the sight of its approach, but not leaving her enough time to avoid it. Her fist struck, and Yuki was deflected. As she hit the canvas, she rolled backward before flopping onto the mat as she sputtered and coughed. The crowd winced in sympathy for her, and now Sally had an opening.
