Seeing Irene's vulnerable state, Viper had intended to press the advantage, as she swung her foot for her jaw in the hopes of catching her while she was stunned. Yet once again the girl was proving to have admirable reflexes, as she managed to swing her arms up to block just as Viper's boot made contact. She drew back, again muttering to herself with apparent disappointment that her attack hadn't been as devastating as she might have hoped. Yet, it wasn't without its perks. Viper had sent Irene toppling back from the force of the impact, leaving her on her side. That would only buy her more time with which to work her magic.

Storming closer with silent and purposeful strides, Viper came up to Irene as she was beginning to rise. Regardless of whether she was fully up or not, Viper was ready to take advantage. The green-haired woman grabbed at her face to squeeze her fingers around her jaw with a mandible claw, attempting to lift her to her feet. Then, she drew back her other arm, aiming a firm chop across Irene's skull!

Collapsing to her side, Irene was getting out of luck now. She barely managed to dodge the last hit but Viper seemed persistent in her pursue. She continued her rise until she was on her fours. That was the point where she felt Viper's hands grasping her by the face. Her claws dug into her cheeks as she was muffled by the palm. One of her hands rose to grab the hand while the other tried to maintain her balance pushing down on the floor. Viper lifted her up without releasing her grip. Once fully stood, Irene was welcomed by a chop to the skull she grunted into her opponent's palm, which was clawing into her cheeks.

Once she got hit, she temporarily lost the grasp on her opponent's arm, instinctively though, she managed to grasp back at the reality of her situation. She couldn't risk taking Viper's hit head on like this. Viper might not stop there and might work on her skull as if she actually wanted to bash it open. Thinking fast enough, she decided to attack the arm. She took a step back trying to get that arm extended. She would then using one of her arm would push upwards into that ankle trying to give some pressure on it while the other arm would be over Viper's shoulder trying to maintain the arm's position. If her opponent's would let go of her face, she would try to get that arm by the knee and turn around to lock it behind Viper's back.

Irene may have started to get up, but Viper's speed allowed her to swiftly close the distance - and, once she had, she had plenty to show her opponent. She grasped at the girl's jaw, her fingers pressing against her cheeks as she dragged her back to her feet while holding down the pressure all the while. It didn't even matter to Viper as Irene grabbed at her wrist - such was short-lived, as now that her opponent was where she wanted her, Viper swung a chop straight into Irene's temple, leaving her reeling!

Even after such a crippling blow had been struck, Viper was hardly moved by her success, looking down at Irene with her usual emotionless glower. She had her arm drawn back, prepared to follow up on the chop with another, and she fully intended to send more still after that. But Irene had a counter ready. She caught Viper by the arm just as her next strike was about to hit, and with all the strength she could draw on, she fought to hold it back!

A stalemate ensued as the struggle between the two women filled the corner; Viper was trying to push her arm a little further to break it from Irene's grasp, but Irene was holding her back with all her might. Viper's teeth clenched and she hissed under her breath as she leaned in toward Irene, bending forward to try and draw on whatever leverage she could. In the process, with her mental faculties focused on trying to overpower her opponent, Viper couldn't keep up her hold on Irene's jaw. This would prove to be disastrous.

No sooner had Viper released her opponent's mandible that Irene struck, grabbing her by her newly-freed arm. In one swift motion she circled behind Viper's back, pinning her elbow in place against her spine! Viper began to bend forward as the pain and pressure built, her knees buckling as she leaned toward the corner. The crowd cheered all the while; it seemed like Irene might actually have a chance!

Where Viper hit her on her head was still hurting, but she had coped with the pain and was able to lock Viper's wrist back at her spine. If she wouldn't have been fast enough, she was sure to have more headache as Viper didn't seem to stop with just one chop. Shaking her head to gather herself back together also to ease the throbbing pain at her head, she further guided Viper's hand towards the girls neck, further stretching the muscles giving more pressure down to her bone. She wouldn't be so sorry even if she would break her arm.

Leaning forward down at her bend opponent rubbing her body to Viper's back, she got her mouth closer to Viper's ear to whisper "Still acting tough are we?" she would taunt her sinister but silent opponent with her words while she yanked on the arm further. Viper was the less talkative one so far and Irene wanted to hear her scream also wanted her to pay for that temple shot.

She would release her grip after a while and once she did, she would immediately push her opponent down to mat with her foot. If Viper were to get grounded of sorts. She would circle around her positioning herself to her side. Waiting for the right time as Viper might rise up slowly, she would rise her knee hoping to hit Viper's temple, taking her revenge for that chop to head. "Payback huh!"

Irene would have to consider herself lucky to so quickly get out of trouble; if Viper still had a clear shot at her head, she would have kept up her offensive and delivered still more crushing blows to her rival's temples. But now, Irene had not only avoided danger but gotten Viper into a place she could control her as well, steering herself back around behind her as she cranked on the green-haired woman's arm. Viper hissed from the pain as her wrist was pressed in between her shoulderblades, causing her to bend in further toward the corner.

With Viper's back exposed, Irene was able to plant a foot against her, shoving her down onto her stomach as she released her arm. Viper clenched her teeth, snarling from the force of the attack as well as the residual pain of her arm bent behind her. As she lay face-down, slowly, she drew her arm out from behind her, shaking it out, before she pressed her palms against the mat and began to rise. But when she did, Irene was ready for her, swinging a knee straight at her head!

Viper had no choice but to let out a pained groan as the impact knocked her back down onto her face, collapsing against the canvas. For now, she was stunned, unable to defend herself!

Despite taking some solid hits herself, Irene was keeping Viper at bay before she could take the control of her and the match. Taking her opponent down to the mat, she knew she had to keep her under control. Without any trace of mercy, she made her move. Waiting her downed opponent to get into position, she made her move. Irene took no time to welcome her recovering opponent with a knee to head.

Viper yet again with a pained groan knocked down to the floor face down. Normally, Irene might have felt sorry for her opponent but this was Viper. She had no pity in her heart for Viper and hurting her felt like a reward. She positioned herself over Viper having her between her legs facing in the direction that Viper was lying face down.

Without any trace of mercy, Irene would lift one of her legs to plant it over her opponent's bare back and would lean down to grab her arms by the wrist. She would then straighten back up yanking on the arms while pushing on her opponent's back to tire her limbs and back altogether.

Having been quick to receive some karmic punishment for her clobbering of Irene's skull, Viper went down off the force of the knee she had taken to the head, her temples throbbing. She clenched her teeth and groaned, slowly trying to drag her thoughts back into the realm of reality as she extended her arms shakily to her sides, her palms against the mat to push her back up. However, she wouldn't get far - Irene was ready for her, and she was already in place!

Feeling her opponent's boot come down against her back, Viper was pushed back down face-first into the canvas, landing there with a growl, her teeth clenched. With the green-haired woman thus anchored in place, Irene took her by the wrists, wrenching back on them to stretch her joints as her vertebrae popped and crackled from the motion of her back being arched into a C shape! This time, Viper was forced to betray more emotion than was typical of her, as she coughed and gagged before a cry of pain was wrenched from her throat. Irene, it seemed, was actually doing something!

Whatever the case may have been, Viper didn't enjoy being pulled around like this. She had to do something about it! Trying to free herself, she fought to twist her body from side to side, hoping the rocking motion would get Irene to step off. She also braced her knees against the mat and tried to arch her back skyward in an attempt to buck her rival off balance.

Irene managed to make Viper, rather untypical for Viper's inexpressiveness, express her emotions through those coughs, gags and cries she managed to squish out of her. "Having good time are we?" For Irene, they were much of an heal to her sore places.

Despite being under control of Irene, Viper wasn't yielding yet, she was in constant act trying to escape from the painful hold. It was hard to maintain the move longer as Viper was twisting her body side to side, trying to bend her knees to buck her off balance. Despite being and getting hurt, Viper was not backing down. All that struggle eventually made Irene to lose her grip on one of Viper's arm rendering her position useless as she was forced to release the other arm and then took her foot off of her opponent's back. Fortunately, she still had the advantage of her having her opponent on the ground. "You are as stubborn as a goat. We need to work on that."

They were near the turnbuckles and she wanted to use them to corner her opponent, punish her more. Viper was lying her head towards the turnbuckles. She moved close to her head, positioning herself between Viper and the turnbuckle. She would then lean forward to her downed opponent to grab her by the chin to force her up.

It was indeed rare for Viper to show much in the way of emotions, but there were some things painful enough to get her to at least let out a groan, and Irene was certainly putting her in that sort of predicament, as she dragged her up off the canvas, causing her back to twist and bend. Viper clenched her teeth in a silent snarl, trying to hold in the pain, but even still it was getting to her. Still, she wasn't going down without a fight, and with all the strength she could muster she thrashed back and forth, doing her best to unsettle the pressure her opponent weighed down on her.

And, eventually, that happened. With Irene's grasp becoming looser and looser, Viper at last forced her to let go of her arm, jerking it free. The other arm soon followed, and the green-haired girl felt the weight being taken off her. Letting out a sigh, she slumped against the mat on her stomach, with the aching sensation at last abating. Viper knew, of course, she couldn't stay down for long; Irene would surely come back with more in store for her. And indeed, she felt her opponent's fingers clutch her chin as she circled back around.

As Irene pulled her head up, Viper's eyes followed along her body, staring up at her blankly as usual as she came to meet her face. She winced ever so slightly against the pressure on the back of her neck, still sore from the position she was in a moment before. But while Irene might have wanted to guide Viper back up, Viper had plans of her own. She braced her hands against the canvas to hold herself still as she shifted her weight forward, rolling toward Irene and aiming to send her toppling backward such that her head would strike the turnbuckle!

Grinding her booth into her opponent's exposed back yanking her arms back as if she actually wanted to break Viper in half, Irene had managed to give Viper some hard time. Despite of her opponent somehow managing to escape from her painful hold, she wasn't going to let Viper have the relief she might been looking for. Irene kept pushing not really eager to let the momentum she had subside out of her hands.

She grabbed the chin of her opponent and slowly pulled her head up. She had that same blank and emotionless face which was getting to Irene. She needed her up on her feet and started to slowly rise with her opponent as she pulled on her chin. Viper followed Irene, slowly rising up with her. However, the devious greenette had a plan. Giving her weight forward she created an unbalance where Irene was unable to handle her footing. Viper's weight forced her to topple backwards and unfortunately for her as they were in the corner, she hit the back of her head to the turnbuckle while Viper toppled on top of her.

This unexpected move caught her off-guard. The impact of the hit made her dizzy for a second or two and reflexively one of her hands went up to her skull as she winced in pain. Unable to do much, she laid there in a tilted sitting position, upper portion of her back leaning on the turnbuckle while she was sitting on her butt. This might give Viper enough time to capitalize on her.
