L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

"Ngh!" Hikaru grunted as the elbow struck sharply! She let go and stumbled backward doubled over as her arms cradled her abdomen in pain. Gambit successfully managed tonfeee herself all while creating an opening to go back on the attack against a stumbling Hikaru!

*Squandering as little time as she possibly could, the elated bunny knew that her window of opportunity could close at any moment. Pivoting around on the heel of her boots, she turned to face her now immobilized opponent, a smug smirk making itself known across her visage.*

"This is what happens when you underestimate me!" *Trying to get the crowd support on her side, the rambunctious rabbit dashed towards the ropes, launching her aerodynamic body towards Hikaru for a massive drop kick to her face!*

Hikaru was just standing up when Gambit rushed at her and hammered her with the dropkick! Hikaru's head snapped back and her body fell to the mat in a heap! She was kicking the mat while her hands covered her throbbing face. Hikaru made mumbled cries of pain that were muffled by her hands as they kept her face covered. She was clearly hurting from the attack and again reeling as the opening of the match was increasingly going in the favor of Gambit! Hikaru felt like she had it in her to come back from such an awful start but history was not on her side!

*With a successful connection of her boots smacking against Hikaru's skull, Gambit managed to catch herself on the palms of her hands while witnessing the fruits of her labor in action- The incompetent rookie staggered from side to side before finally dropping to the canvas like a hot rock.* "Hah! I knew you were too pathetic to contend with someone like me!" *The spunky rabbit exclaimed, popping back to her feet while hatching a brilliant plan. Dashing towards the adjacent corner post, Gambit leapt onto the highest turnbuckle before gazing down towards her prey.* "Well, this was amusing, but I'm way out of your league kiddo~" *And with that, she took flight, stretching her body out across the sky for a massive body splash!*

Hikaru was down and in a haze as she heard Gambit continue her talking. Hikaru was good natured but even she wanted to shut that mouth of Gambits now! However she was not in the shape to do so and it showed as the top rope splash hit, leading to Hikaru howling out in agony! She was clearly hurting as she flopped about as Gambit laid on top of her!

Hikaru moaned in pain again and realized Gambit was still on top of her and a pin count was starting!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Hikaru struggled and kicked finally bucking her hips up and arching herself enough to make Gambit roll off of her but she was nearly pinned only managing to kick out at 2.5! Hikaru had just barely avoided defeat and now had to try to collect herself to come back against Gambit who was off to a commanding start.

*As she counted along with the referee, Gambit could already taste the victory that was fast approaching; hardly even having to break a sweat to conquer someone so infinitesimal, the boisterous bunny felt a shockwave of disbelief when her adversary somehow managed to throw herself skyward to break the fall! Flabbergasted, she removed herself from Hikaru's presence entirely, deciding instead to work the crowd for some easy brownie points.*

"Humph! You aren't even worth the effort!" *Turning towards the capacity crowd, Gambit began striking a cute pose for her adoring fans, which the instantaneously ate up.* "Heya! Aren't I just the most adorable thing you've ever seen?" *She exclaimed, flashing a peace sign while the cameras sparkled throughout the arena!*

Hikaru groaned and rolled over to push herself up, staggering as she tried to get up to her feet. She was swaying and grabbing her abdomen but it seemed that Gambit was content to taunt!

Hikaru was intent on taking advantage of this situation! She surged up and grabbed Gambit around the waist from behind! "You shouldn't be so cocky when you could have been pressing an advantage!" Hikaru shouted as she lift Gambit up to send her to the mat with a release German suplex!

*Continuing to superfluously banter with her adoring audience, Gambit suddenly felt the presence of her opponent directly behind her.* "W..wha..!!!" *Unable to fully process what was about to happen, the bewildered bunny attempted to anchor herself to the canvas, but to no avail as she was sent soaring through the air!*

"AAAAH!" *Even though it was only a handful of seconds, in her panicked state the terrified hare felt like it took forever before she smashed against the mat with a reverberating* "THUNK!" *All the while the fickle audience began applauding Hikaru's efforts to prove herself as a worthy contender on the law circuit. Gambit, however, was sulking in her disoriented state, clinching her teeth together from the crippling pain.*

Hikaru was still gasping for breath, in a lot of pain as she was still feeling her entire body ache. However she had taken the initiative and needed to really seize this opportunity! Hikaru made her way over to the downed Gambit as she realized she had much more work to do. Hikaru pulled Gambit up by the hair, wrapping her arms underneath Gambits to get both arms in an underhook. From here Hikaru let out a scream as she lift Gambit up looking to send her crashing to the mat with a double underhook suplex! Hikaru wanted to keep going at Gambit and felt like she could wear her down while working her way into controlling the matchup!

*Unable to control the massive paradigm shift that this match underwent, Gambit felt the rushing footsteps of her opponent echo throughout the claustrophobic arena. With her head still aching from the previous bombardment, the dazed hare heard a powerful scream that managed to rattle her to her core. Regaining a sliver of her awareness, she would suddenly feel Hikaru hoist her skyward before promptly dropping her back down for an overzealous suplex!*

"THWACK!" *Her voluptuous body smacked off of the ground, causing her bunny butt to kiss the canvas yet again!* "Hhhuuh...n..no.." *Feeling the reins of the match slowly slip out of her grasp, Gambit attempted to crawl towards an adjacent corner post to try and recuperate from the merciless beating she was receiving!*
