*Still detecting a vestige of trepidation from her prospective student, Gail shifted her gaze to lock eyes with the intimidated child.* "When I look at the current, reigning champions on the law circuit, you know what makes them stand out more than anything? The impression they leave. With the right outfit, you'll be able to captivate an audience without even having to try."

*Her eyes trailing over to the apprehensive woman's facial region, Gail realized just how comfortable Mariza seemed against her supple chest. Admittedly, the rebellious rocker didn't mind the sensation herself, but now certainly wasn't the time to dwell on such sordid thoughts.*

*To show her playful side, Gail tightened her right fist and ruffled Mariza's hair, delivering a schoolyard noogie as if she were a blacktop bully!* "That's the spirit, sunshine!" *Eventually relinquishing her, the emerald typhoon began making her way towards the exit.* "Your trial by fire is in two weeks. Come find me at The Gem's Haven by then. If you survive, you'll be rewarded with your destiny. Until then~" *And in the blink of an eye, Gail vanished from sight, her boots echoing throughout the hallway.*

Marzia stopped, falling silent as she listened to what Gail had to say. She was always someone who favored talent and fighting spirit over theatrics, and yet...Gail had a point. She did have her share of fans who were there in the arena to give her encouragement, and they always did give her motivation. But, just maybe, she'd have more support with a better luck - and with it, more motivation to do her best. It seemed crazy, and yet, it could just be crazy enough to work.

She was brought once again out of those thoughts as Gail's knuckles graced her head, causing her to sputter. "Ah, hey-!" As she tried to recenter herself, Gail launched right into giving Marzia instructions for the next phase of her plan - and, before the Italian had any opportunity to react, she was already off. Marzia's head was still full of questions, as she reached out towards the departing woman. "Hey, wait-!" But it was too late.

Marzia was left there, staring off into the distance and wondering. So much was still so unclear, and she didn't know what to think of it. Her trial by fire? What was that going to entail? And what was this about...her destiny? The mystery of it all left her intimidated, and she took in a gulp at the thought. But, at the same time...she couldn't help but feel like something in what Gail was saying resonated with her. Perhaps this really was her chance to attain greatness. As she thought on all the potential that was ahead of her, Marzia could feel her heart beating faster in her chest, and a smile grew across her face. She might have been, admittedly, afraid - but this could well be just what she needed.
