Valerie had only known Kyoko for a little while, if you could even call it[knowing[/i]. One small conversation and the beginning of a match wasn’t exactly an extensive experience.
But, all the same, she felt she was getting to understand the former champion to a fair degree. And what she’d sussed out so far? Yeah, she could say that she did not like this woman.
It wasn’t the pain that was ticking her off, that she was more than prepared to take. No, it was what came with it - as she rose to her feet, Kyoko threw more venom her way, the same brand of bile from the open challenge. Valerie hadn't known what to say then, but now that she was properly amped up, a proper response came to mind.
The woman came in, lashed out as she closed the distance, and hit Valerie with a stiff shot to the jaw, one that sent her staggering to the side. Instead of staying back, though, she spun around, swung her arm, and tried to clock her opponent with a rolling elbow to the face. ”You talk too much!”
