BOOM!

JJ was feeling good about her start to the match and had just sent Karen crashing down to the mat. Now she was on the move, pulling Karen back up to her feet by the arm keeping hold as she stepped towards the ropes! JJ was trying to whip Karen into the ropes and then rush at her as she bounced off. JJ was hoping to move right at Karen full speed extending her arm for a big lariat to keep her hot start rolling!

Karen's back was smarting right now, and she arched slightly off the mat before flopping back down again. So far, JJ was very much in the driver's seat: she had been unprepared for the American's sheer aggression. At the back of her mind, though, one thing was going through her mind the most: that JJ had had the temerity to actually use a Samoan drop on her, a New Zealander. A bona-fide Polynesian.

Karen groaned as JJ hauled her up to her feet and whipped her across the ring. As she came bouncing back, she ducked low at the last second, aiming to spin around behind JJ, wrap her arms around the other girl's midsection and counter with a back body suplex!

JJ thought she was about to keep rolling when she went in at Karen but she was wrong, so very wrong. She missed and her eyes went wide with shock as she was grabbed and effortlessly lift up into the air, only to come crashing painfully down to the mat! The crashing sound of her hitting the canvas was overshadowed by a loud groan that escaped her lips as she flopped down to the side, laying there and reaching for her back. "Ugggghhhhhh....." JJ groaned as she shook her head, now the one on the defensive while she wasn't even able to start rising to her feet.

The mat shook as the two powerful ladies crashed hard into it. Springing back to her feet, Karen saw that JJ had been floored quite nicely by her suplex counter and was too stunned to rise. She grinned a little; her turn now.

Still wincing a little from that Samoan drop earlier, Karen strode after JJ and grabbed her by the head to pull her to her feet. "One good move deserves another," she said, before dropping down, wrapping one arm behind JJ's neck and another behind her thigh, before trying to lift JJ up and slam her to the mat in a Samoan drop of her own! If she managed that then she would immediately after try to hook one of the other girl's legs for an immediate pinfall.

JJ shook her head as she was hauled up into the air and held up briefly before being sent crashing down to the canvas! She groaned and before she could move she was covered for a pin!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

JJ groaned and thrust a shoulder up right after two and rolled to her side. She was flattened by Karen and knew she had to get up and fight ack but that was easier said than done at this point after taking a couple big hits the way she had. JJ was rolling away to try to create some distance between them before she rose up to her feet again.

The count reached two before JJ twisted sharply under Karen and rolled away. Kneeling upright, Karen took a deep breath. The match was still early, and she knew it was going to take a lot to put JJ away, but at least she was in the driver's seat, for now.

"Girl, where are you going?" she called out to her American opponent as she strode after her. As JJ got up to her feet, Karen would slam a forearm across her back, before spinning around, clamping one powerful arm around JJ's head to latch her in a tight side headlock! She would squeeze hard, aiming to give her opponent a good sense of just how strong she was.

JJ groaned as Karen grabbed hold and wrapped her arm around JJ's head! JJ stomped her feet and struggled as her head was being painfully squeezed. She let out a moan of pain as she wrapped her arms around Karen's waist, muttering one word.

"Up."

JJ bent her knees and exploded upward as she held Karen around the waist before sending her crashing to the mat with a big backdrop to escape the headlock! She was trying to show off her power too, and look good for Kyo ringside as she hoped to create an opening for herself in this tense battle between powerhouses!

Karen grinned a little as she squeezed JJ in a sight side headlock, grinding the other girl's head against her firm abs. Her plan at that point was to throw her down onto her side and continue to squeeze her in a grounded side headlock; JJ, however, clearly had other ideas, as she wrapped her arms around her waist. Alarm bells rang in Karen's head as she realized what JJ was about to do next.

"Oh shi--"

The ring shook as Karen crashed hard onto her back, releasing JJ in the process. Groaning, she went rolling onto her side, clutching her back. From the sidelines, Kyo said nothing, but smiled a little and nodded up at JJ in appreciation of her escape.

JJ took a few deep breaths after escaping and then worked her way up to her feet. She made her way to Karen and yanked Karen up too her feet by the arm. JJ used her left arm to keep hold of Karen yanking her into a clothesline! JJ smiled as she didn't let go, attempting to pull Karen up for another short arm clothesline then a third! She was hoping to keep Karen on the mat. JJ also hoped she could pull off the trio and keep Karen down so she could flex a bicep with her hand on her hip while winking to Kyo, any chance to show off for her always got her fired up.

Karen groaned as she rolled onto her side, smarting from that counter that JJ just pulled. The American was quick to take advantage of the Maori's downed state, hoisting her to her feet, whipping her forwards...only to immediately ram her forearm across her chest in a clothesline! "UNNNG!H" Karen grunted, the blow knocking her off her feet...for a time, at least. JJ, however, didn't let go of her arm: instead she held on, and yanked Karen back up to her feet.

Right into another clothesline.

"GUUUH!" Karen gasped, sweat now spraying from her hair and face as JJ rocked her with another blow to the chest. Once again, though, JJ didn't release her. Groaning, Karen was hauled back up to her feet...right into yet another waiting clothesline. This time, the blow sent her booted legs flailing upwards, and she slammed hard onto her back, breathing hoarsely, one arm cradling her hurting chest while above her, JJ pumped her free arm in the air confidently.

Needless to say, the fans loved it, and cheered JJ on all the more. Kyo said nothing from where he stood, but did wink back up at JJ.
