Re: Can I Play With Madness?

This was crazy. Stupid. Insane. Of all the crazy, stupid, insane things that Sheila had done in her life - and god, that was a long list - this had to rank high, easily breaking the top five and maybe even competing with her top spot. Only her prom night debacle even came close.
By all rights, she should’ve been putting as much distance between her and Kenzie as physically possible. Every time they clashed, they nearly destroyed each other, and it was only a matter of time before the ‘nearly’ was taken out of it. They were oil and fire, combustible elements, and them mixing together could only result in flames.
But that was the way it was going to be regardless. Sooner or later, they would meet again, they’d tear it up. They’d tasted each other now, and it was only a matter of time before they had to get another. So, fuck it. If she couldn't fight the attraction, she might as well make sure it happens on even terms. Exercise some sort of control.
She expected Kenzie would see the sense in it, too - loonie as she was, Sheila had fought her hard enough to realize it wasn’t all madness. They were a skilled wrestler under all that makeup, so the answer she received didn’t take her off guard.
The way she received it, though? That was different.
Sheila stayed still - deathly still - as Kenzie whispered in her ear. Nothing she said was all that hot on paper, but it was the way she said it, brimming with energy, that made the Wild One’s toes curl. Even now, broken and battered and trashed, she was still electric, a flame you couldn't put out.
Hot. Fucking hot. Romantic? Maybe. But now wasn’t the time for those kinds of thoughts. She had a deal to finish. Sheila brought her pinky up, hooked it with Kenzie’s gave it a tug. ”Deal. Crazy fucker.”
With that finalized, she brought her finger away and leaned in, resting their foreheads together and letting their bodies press. Just feeling her. Sharing the warmth. Letting her fingers roam where they willed. ”Also…I think I’m bumming it here, tonight. Don’t have the energy to hobble my ass back.”
What that would mean for the rest of the night, she was happy to Kenzie decide. She’d earned it.
