Nela Ribeiro vs. Hinata Huerta

Hinata saw Nela stumble back to the ropes and she was immediately giving chase. he would reach out and grab Nela by the arm in an attempt to whip Nela across the ring to the ropes on the other side! Hinata would burst into a run as Nela hit the ropes looking to come right at her and jump up, raising her knee high for a running knee strike aimed at Nela's jaw! Now she had the plan in mind but had to put t into action to see it bear fruit...

Nella had trouble breathing immediately after receiving the kicks; her vision was not quite a blur, but she had trouble focusing, so when Hinata sent her running across the ring, she had a hard time not tripping over her own legs. Managing to reach the other side and rebound came with the benefit of clearing her mind and getting some breath back, but her prospects were looking quite grim as she was now running at her opponent, who, in turn, rushed at her. Not exactly sure what her opponent's plan was but entirly convinced that someone packing this much power in their kicks might knock her out into next week at thsese speeds, Nela would take the only sensible option left to her, jumping to the side, taking a tumble and rolling towards the corrner, her freshy bruised stomach reminding her she really needed to work on it more as she slowly got up with asistance of the ropes.

Hinata ran in and thought she had Nela right where she wanted her... not quite. Hinata lunged and there was nothing there to stop her so she ended up stumbling into the ropes, grabbing on to steady herself as Nela rose to her feet in the corner. Hinata moved at her again looking to keep up with the strikes. That was going to be her key to a win. This time though she would go low with her fists aiming to stun Nela with some body shots to try to keep her on the back foot. Hinata wanted to stay aggressive. That is when she won, she hated being on the defensive...

Having avoided what in hindsight would most likely be a knockout strike, Nela felt as accomplished as she could for someone in the process of getting the stuffing beaten out of her. Her breath was short and came painfully after the kicks she received, making her slow down both in how she moved and how quickly she was able to react and so, just as she got up, Hinata was already on top of her, sending a few quick punches to Nela's already batered body, making her double over and swing her arms wildly to try and get some space to even so much as take a breath!

Okay, the game plan was working. Now Hinata knew she had to try to go big. Or at least shake the ring with something.

Hinata tried to wrap an arm around Nela's head while getting a hand on her waist. Hinata took a deep breath and tried to lift Nela upward looking to get some height before falling back to deliver a big vertical suplex tonher opponent keeping her momentum going in her favor!

This entire fight has been reminding Nela she needed to work on her striking and, more importantly, on defence from strikes. That knowledge, however, was not of much use to her in the position she was stuck in, as with the barrage of punches she received, Hinata found no difficulty in manoeuvring herself into position for another move. Having to focus rather manually on breathing, Nala was not sure what was in store for her as her opponent got her arm around her head... Up untill she got lifted, her legs pointing up to the sky as Hinata showed off her strength by lifting her up for a vertical suplex before shaking the ring as she dropped Nella down, leaving her splayed out in the centre of the ring!

Hinata managed to send Nela crashing down and she rolled over on top of her. She tried to grab hold of Nela's arm and wrap her legs around the outstretched arm as well as her head to try to lock her into a triangle hold. Nela was tough, and Hinata knew she had to work in every bit of offense she could while she had the chance. Hinata had to make sure her return to the ring was successful, but Nela wasn't making it easy.

Nela was dazed and hurting all over. Hinata has certainly given her quite a beating thus far and landed her in a desperate need of a comeback. Luckily, Nela's years of experience in BJJ allowed her to realise what hold she was being pulled into, even through her daze, and she'd immediately move to counter it, pulling the shoulder of her captured arm forward before Hinata has clamped her legs shut. That would put her in relative safety from the choke itself, though she could tell, if she had not done that, she'd have seconds before she'd get choked out, only giving more merit to Hinata's diverse skillset.

Still, though, she was not out of danger, and Hinata could easily reposition to continue the choke if she was not fast with how she moved forward. Bridging her lower body up, Nela would try to turn them over so she could get on top, getting her legs underherself and pushing her weight down on top of Hinata to push herself all the way through her legs and if succesful, start sending down elbow at the woman's head to get a little room to breath and regain the iniciative!

Hinata thought she was in a good position to really wrench down on that arm and choke Nela but that shift in position quickly proved her wrong! She grunted as the elbows struck and she gave a last, hard wrench before letting go and rolling away. She shook her head and tried to regain her bearings as she rose to her feet. She wasn't fully dazed by those strikes but they sure did catch her off guard. Hinata was momentarily open as she tried to recover granting Nela a nice little window of opportunity to act.

Nela felt Hinata let go and roll away and took a deep breath, getting up to her feet. She has taken quite a lot of damage these far, but she still thought she had a chance if she played her cards right, and as it happened, an opportunity presented itself. As she turned to face her opponent, she noticed that Hinata was still a bit disoriented from her attacks, and she knew she could waste no time.

Rushing forward, she'd pass Hinata to make it to the ropes, using them as to springboard back towards her opponent and extend her arm to grab a hold of Hinata's head while in the air to forcefully slam her down to the ground with a bulldog takedown, she'd try to transition into a crossface immediately upon landing!
