Ami would IMMEDIATELY feel the tightening sensation of her tendons and ligaments being stretched, twisted, and bent to their limits, with Saori's talent showing itself right from the get-go as the meek grappler had Ami in her clutches with that Single Leg Boston Crab. The Prima Donna Darling whined and winced, feeling the increasing amounts of pressure on her leg as she frantically scrambled to mitigate the damage as much as possible. Fortunately, Saori didn't grab hold of her other leg, and Ami would attempt to use her flexible body to kick at Saori's hands, tossing her free leg around in hopes of smacking the woman with her boot before things got too rough. Ami's greatest asset was her high-flying and speed, which meant that she needed her legs to remain in good condition if she wanted a chance at winning this.

Saori locked Ami in the Half Crab, and she could tell via Ami’s wincing and struggling that it was hurting her, and Saori knew she needed to tighten it even further, maybe even force an early submission.

That was until Ami decided to use her free leg, and decided to kick at the frail body of Saori, causing her to let go of the submission hold and fall onto her knees wincing. “ACK!” She yelped.

Saori was holding her back in pain, left momentarily stunned, she left herself wide open right there, an obvious mistake for her to make.

After escaping the submission hold, Ami would tend to her leg for a moment, trying to nurse it and soothe the pain. There wasn't too much damage done to it yet, so she'd be just fine to continue with her high-speed style. And what better time to demonstrate it than right now? Since Saori was down and stunned for a second, Ami took this opportunity to run to the ropes behind them. She'd hit the ropes and rebound off them, using the momentum to carry herself forward as she rushed back at Saori, tilting forward into a stylish flip while snagging the nerdy grappler by her head and neck, looking to drag Saori down to the canvas face-first with a Kneeling Front Flip Cutter!!!

Saori’s skinny twig of a body clearly was not made for fights, especially ones were strength was involved, she was not built to be very athletic, and that came back to bite her when Ami kicked her, causing Saori to take a couple of steps back

While the glasses wearing girl was reeling from the kick, she did not notice Ami coming right at her until her head was grabbed and she was brought down with a stunner.

“AH!” Saori gasped, as she fell onto her back, her glasses dropping from her face from the impact of the stunner.

Great, not only was she basically finished, now she could not even see correctly, she needed those glasses to keep her vision correct. She would have to basically wrestle blind if Ami did not finish her off right now.

After slamming Saori face-first onto the canvas, Ami rolled through with the momentum, springing back to her feet in a stylish manner before turning around to face her opponent...only to see that Saori had lost her glasses and was basically fighting half-blind. Fortunately, Ami spotted that they were right behind the woman. Not wanting to basically cheat her and Saori out of having an honest match, Ami did the only reasonable thing she could do as she walked around Saori, picking up her glasses in an effort to return them to her fair and square. Hoping not to make her panic, Ami gently tapped her on the shoulder to let her know that she was standing right behind her before handing her glasses back to her, giving her a chance to put them back on. "W-whoa, hey! C-calm down, I'm not trying anything-...but-...you dropped these, sorry..." She said, passing the still intact glasses to Saori. "Can you see?" She asked softly, giving Saori some time to adjust.

Saori could feel the rumbling on the mat, knowing that Ami was coming right on over to finish her off, she had the perfect opportunity to do that, just hit her with a big move.

To say she was shocked when Ami did not attack her, but gave her back her glasses. “Um… Thanks?!” Saori muttered, being utterly surprised.

Saori then put her glasses back on, and after adjusting for a few seconds, could see again. “Yes, sorry for holding us up.” Saori apologized.

Ami returned Saori's glasses to her, easing the woman's fears as she approached her in a friendly manner. There was no need for bad blood between either of them, and Ami respected her opponent way too much to resort to cheating. She was here to improve as a wrestler, test her skills, and prove that she was one of the best. What good would cheating do her in that regard?

"Don't worry about it, Saori. If we're gonna fight, I wanna fight you at your best! You look cuter with them on anyways~..." Ami cheered, smiling at the apologetic Saori and giving her a teasing yet warm compliment at the end to try and boost her spirits. "Now come on, don't lose focus so soon~!" Once things had been cleared up, the two got right back to it, with Ami attempting to grab onto Saori, slipping in real close to try and get behind her. If the petite brunette managed to get inside Saori's range and slip through her blind spot, she'd wrap her arms around the woman's waist in an effort to try and toss her backward with a German Suplex!
