Harmony's speed surprises Harper!!! The blonde was able to catch her white-haired foe with a tight clinch, locking her up as they came face-to-face. Harper struggled and tried to pull away, but Harmony's knee strike found its target in the center of her belly, making her grunt but not quite stunning her. If Harmony wasn't fast enough, Harper would attempt to return fire with a knee strike of her own.

Harmony had time to retaliate Harper's knee strike, thanks to or because of Harper's kick she knew that Harper's strength exceeded hers, she told herself that the best way to win this match was not thanks to the striking but with a submission

Since she was in a clinch, Harmony going to try to do a takedown to take her to the ground

Harper was being driven to the ground via a takedown. The Butterscotch Bruiser attempted to drive her feet against the canvas, trying to hold her ground and prevent Harmony from bringing her to the mat. She lets out a gasp, taking in a deep breath as she tries to break the clinch by pushing Harmony into the nearest cage wall.

Harmony saw that her ground game was better than Harper's, she did everything possible to keep her grounded, seeing this as a possibility for victory.

She will try to do a kimura lock on her opponent

Harper groans as the woman locks her arm behind her back, forcing her to the floor despite her best efforts. The candy-themed fighter tries to keep her head cool, shifting around to try and get free of Harmony's submission hold, doing everything she can to avoid tapping out.

Once the kimura is correctly applied, Harmony does everything possible to make Harper give up, but the latter manages to resist despite the tight grip of the kimura

Harmony thinks about trying to change submission but hesitates since the kimura is already in place

Harper uses this moment of hesitation to mount her escape, twisting her body around to gain some leverage in order to undo the applied torque of Harmony's Kimura Lock. If successful, she'd slip her arm free and roll away to put distance between herself and Harmony before standing back on her feet and getting her fists up. She smirks at Harmony, giving her a nod of respect for such a strong submission move...If Harper were any sloppier, she would've tapped out then and there.

Harmony was surprised by Harper's escape, she blamed herself for hesitating at such a crucial moment, but she could be proud to have earned the respect of a seasoned fighter

When she gets up she points her fist at harper to show her respect

Harper grins and runs in with a quick 1-2 combo, looking to pressure Harmony's guard with a barrage of strikes. The candy-themed fighter kept her pace quick, wanting to keep Harmony distracted so she couldn't think about going for another takedown.

Harmony is overwhelmed by Harper Lee's assault, she maintains her guard but for how long

She decides to move back to a corner of the cage to think about a strategy
