L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

"Three!"

The victorious Avenging Angel removed her foot from Elizabeth's chest as the referee rose and signaled for the bell. The moment's ease hadn't softened her expression much, but it was enough to be noticeable if one were to pay attention. Professional wrestling attracts a lot of big egos and hard heads. The nature of the sport practically makes those necessary qualities, and Angel herself couldn't deny that she had the latter.

Especially after that headbutt.

She expected Elizabeth to ignore the warning and break out of the pin. And then she'd beat on her some more and the two would find themselves in this position again. That her opponent was so quick to heed her advice was a pleasant surprise. A first.

"You made the right choice, kid."

The older woman stuck around for a moment while the referee looked her over and assessed her condition. Satisfied that she hadn't done anything serious, she left the ring and headed towards the back, stopping just before stepping through the curtain to turn to the crowd and perform her signature pose: With her hands tightened into fists, she held her arms out straight at the sides, standing in the shape of a cross and garnering a pop from the crowd before continuing on her way.


The show wasn't over just yet, but Angel was ready to call it a night regardless. She'd gotten in a quick workout in her locker room, taken a shower, and scoped out some of the competition. There were a couple names on her list now. She would think over which of the two she'd go after first and request a match tomorrow.

But for now, it was back to her hotel room. She started towards the parking lot.

Elizabeth would quickly get in front of her. She hasn’t gotten out of her gear, probably because she doesn’t know or refuse to learn how to take it off. The Staff Members usually put it on and take it off for her but for right now, she had a mission.

“Hey! You uh, useful commoner.” This would get The Avenging Angel’s attention but she’s walking on thin ice. “I uh… heard that you can help people with problems and stuff.”

Angel crossed her arms, regarding Elizabeth with a frown that cemented what she already knew: That she was indeed on thin ice. She responded with the obvious question.

"And why should I help you when you don't even have the decency to refer to me as 'ma'am', let alone remember my name?"

Elizabeth would try to think of something to make her convinced of taking her in. “Well… being a jobber doesn’t look good with me being a princess. And I really wanna make it so my common-, I mean, my citizens of my kingdom will think of me being a strong leader. If being a face in this business will make me no longer a jobber, then I will give up my arrogance and pride for a few wins.”
