Emelie paused for a moment, processing everything Rose Gold had just said. Training? Tonight? Wear her best? Something about the...Crystal Ballroom? A club!? All of this compounding together for Rose's first 'assignment' for the white-haired Frenchwoman...Be her date-...Then, all of a sudden, like a miniature big bang, her mind exploded. Her world had been shattered like a mirror, shards of her thoughts going everywhere. Everything clicked into place as she fully comprehended Rose Gold's words. Her eyes widened as the premise before her seemed like a staggering, unclimbable mountain before her. Her first task, hours after moving in and getting off her flight, mere moments after meeting her benefactor...was to go on a DATE with her. A date with Rose Gold. What had Emelie agreed to? She was motionless, speechless, and practically devoid of thought as she stood there in the moment...and when Rose began to walk off, all Emelie could do was stare with her mouth partway open.
