Rodeo Stampede! Cathy Jefferson (Debut) vs Karin Shin

To the evident surprise of the crowd, Cathy Jefferson abruptly stopped dragging her struggling opponent in the direction of the pen and dumped her leg down while standing over Shin for a few moments, almost indecisively. Something wasn't right the cowgirl wrestler told herself, shaking her head in denial as if trying to clear it of some kind of fog. Rather than cheering her on like they had been before, sections of the crowd were now starting to boo her efforts and she thought she understood why. They had paid good money to be entertained here and (in her own head mainly) to watch the American face girl fight nobly, to win decisively... but by fair means not by foul. And, although she wasn't exactly fouling up right now, it was fair to say Cathy wasn't exactly being all that noble and fair either. So instead, she reached down intending to roll her opponent over for a boston crab to give herself more time to think.

Karin would suddenly feel how her opponent was stopping. Seemed like that woman changed her plans that was the perfect chance for Karin to turn things around. She just needed to see the right moment and strike then. So when Cathy was trying to grab both of her legs Karin would pull them back closer to her body and then tried to kick them both forwards trying to kick them right against the chest of the cowgirl with all she got. She hopped to send the American woman onto her butt or even onto her back with that. If that worked out for her Karin would try to flip herself back onto her feet looking at her opponent. As soon as Cathy was making any attempts to get back up to her feet Karin would jump forward. She would try to run towards her opponent as fast as she could and pick up speed, before jumping up in front of the cowgirl. She would once again pull her feet in front of her and tried to throw them. Again her target where the chest of her opponent, this time with a drop kick. Karin would put anything she had into this trying to smash her boots against the chest of her opponent with all she got. That should take her down and hold her down.

Big mistake going for the boston, Cathy realised just a fraction too late as Karin's kicking feet nailed her in the chest, sending her flying backwards to give the Japanese wrestler time to flip herself back on her feet. But worse was to come for the cowgirl grappler as she was nailed for the second time by a drop kick. This time she went over on her back and, feeling slightly groggy, rose to her knees before she realised that her opponent was somewhere behind her... and outside of her field of vision momentarily. "Where the f... has she gone now?" Cathy grunted.

Karin was able landing two good shots against her opponent to buy herself a moment to recover. She would make it back to her feet while holding her head. The power of her opponent was way more impressive than she had expected, that meant that Karin shouldn´t get in her reach for too long otherwise Cathy could simply turn this around in no time. The Japanese girl would suddenly notice that her opponent was getting back up to her feet already. Karin needed to act and keep up the past to not allow her opponent to get her back under control. The small girl would start to speed up as fast as she could running towards Cathy, but when she was close enough she would jump up trying to jump right pass the other woman. With one hand reached out she would try to grab the back of her head and pull the head of her opponent forwards, smashing it into the sand performing a running bulldog as good as she could. Karin would roll forwards over the sand afterwards, getting onto her knees looking at Cathy and how she would react afterwards.

Cathy found she was no match for the lighter woman when it came to speed. The bulldog came out of nowhere, as her head was pulled forward smashing her down headfirst into the sand. At least she could console herself that the soft surface of the ring cushioned the blow somewhat as both wrestlers rolled onto their knees and glared across at each other. "Nice move," Cathy conceded. "Now why don't you come right back over here and we can enjoy a nice old-fashioned lock-up again?"

Somehow she suspected Karin would decline the invitation as she got to her feet and brushed the sand off. But even so Cathy moved to the centre of the ring, her stance widened and arms raised to her opponent.

Wow that woman could take a hit or two. Although Karin had hit her with two pretty impactful moves it seemed like the cowgirl was just brushing them off and was getting back to her feet slowly. The Japanese woman would let her shoulders circle a bit and tried to get back up as well, still looking at her opponent. She would only smirk about the request of her opponent to lock up… that would totally go wrong for Karin… On the other hand she would like a total coward when she would avoid a lock up for the second time. So Karin would start to walk towards her opponent raising her hands high trying to lock up with her opponent grabbing her hands and pressing against her with all she got, hopping to at least stand her ground for a moment.

Cathy whistled appreciatively as Karin indicated she was accepting the challenge by advancing towards her hands raised high. The Japanese woman was certainly plucky and had earned her respect as they interlocked hands and pressed against each other with all they had. Karin was certainly trying her hardest and she forced Cathy to retreat a step or two before the heavier woman was able to stabilise her feet in the sand and gradually push her opponent back level again. 

As they struggled against each other, their hands gradually moved down lower until they were fighting simultaneously to secure a double-finger interlock that would straightarm the other woman and force her up on her tiptoes. Although Cathy was fairly confident she would win this test of strength, she remained watchful in case the Japanese wrestler came up with a sudden counter.

Karin was trying to hold against the strength of her opponent but it was just too brutally much. Without much time passing, Karin would start to feel how sweat was running down her forehead and she was forced into a position having her bend backwards a bit. She was slowly and surly pressed downwards, before she ended up on her knees right in front of her opponent looking up to her opponent with grinding her teeth angrily.

A good part of crowd were behind Cathy as she won the test of strength, forcing Karin to her knees although she could tell there were still plenty of people rooting for her opponent, maybe because she was more the underdog at the moment.

The Broncobuster realised she had the initiative, standing over her struggling opponent and she tried to twist Karin's arms to put her into a cobra clutch. If she was successful she would use one arm to place her opponent in a half nelson then uses the free arm to pull the Japanese wrestler's arm across her face and lock the hand to the wrist behind the neck. She was sure that Karin might try to resist but she intended to force the other woman however hard she tried.

Karin would suddenly see how her opponent was on the move and she was fast. The Japanese girl had no chance of reacting in time and so her opponent was getting behind her without too much of trouble. Karin would try to move away from her opponent to separate them before Cathy was able to do anything to her. But then one arm was already warped around her own arm and then the other arm of Karin was pulled up and across her face before it was forced backwards. The bicep of Karin was pressed right against her face making it turn away and pressing her head backwards a bit. This was painful and Karin would start to grind her teeth trying to take it…
