L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Mask was no stranger to getting put on the defence from time to time, there was many a time where he had to put up with Con's fast speed or Dan and Coyote's rage in scraps. Was it going to wow the crowd? Nah. Nevertheless even Mask knew that you needed to keep yourself in check, in particular when your opponent was a nimble little thing like Phoenix, who was also a feisty Senorita that intrigued the 1 of the 7 as to what she might be like outside the ring there now~

As it was however Mask demonstrated that he could swing between defence to offence at a dime there as he managed to squish his fellow luchador against his strapping frame, after the flip Mask would roll to the side. Taking a brief second to admire his handiwork, Mask wasn't the biggest of sorts but flipping through the air added to the ommph factor as it was. He learned that the hard way in many a scrap on the streets.

"Hola Senorita......Just dropping in." Mask said with a calm tone as he decided got in close to the pinkette and sought to slap her into a full nelson hold, while slowly attempting to get back to a vertical base with her held in his grasp. Time to see how this Phoenix could handle a little change of pace there on Mask's part.

She was still laying in the ring as clutching her stomach, barely trying to crawl at the ropes until she notices him coming closer at her due to the shadows made by the shiny lights of the arena, moment in which she couldn't do anything. And when she was forced to stand up on both feet, she gets trapped by her opponent on that Full Nelson hold as both of her arms got spread, making the pinkette luchadora to not be able of escaping or breaking the hold easily.

"Mph..." Phoenix grunted softly after getting trapped in that hold, as both are in the middle of the ring with the pinkette in trouble.

Mask was fully known for his acrobatic and classic lucha style, but he was also adept in the art of classic collar and elbow style grappling and could switch it up on a dime if need be. Truth be told he figured that Phoenix might need to warrant this change of pace given her explosive assault there, so he'd need to test her stuff here in the grappling game by putting his taller frame to good use.

From behind in this full nelson he could at least keep the pinkette somewhat constrained at the very least and not admire her splendid mane of hair and the way it shimmered with the arena lights above~ As it stood though Mask figured it was time to try and take advantage of her stunned state the 1 of the 7 would try to shuffle the pinkette forward and upwards, slipping his arms around her frame in an attempt to heft her up into the air and slam her rump down on his knee with a thump inducing Atomic Drop!

Phoenix didn't found yet a way to escape from that hold, and she had in mind that time was ending for her without realizing what Mask was going to do next. And when she got lifted upwards by him for the atomic drop, Phoenix would react quickly and do a quick move to escape from the attempt, swapping it into a victory roll and grab him by with legs, hoping that would be all.

"1!"

"2!"

Mask was thinking he could use this to get some damage down on the pinkette here, then send her hopping away and for a possible follow up on her. He was quite confident in his upper body strength there, out of all his gang he'd been the one to always be the lifter as it was. Still any luchador worth their salt could be adept at turning the tables even when hoisted up in the air and Pink Phoenix was no exception it would seem, because the next thing Mask knew the Smith was getting taken for a ride by her and it would ensue into a victory roll pin!

"Que?!" Mask yelled out as he was rolled up for a pin attempt, that was unexpected. Still Mask had the ring awareness and quickdraw skill to make himself scarce in this situation, he'd buck up and yank himself out of Phoenix's grasp and get his shoulders up just before the three count there. Mask then rolled to the side, getting into a crouched position as he'd size up the luchador and mutter out with "Heh......almost Senorita, nearly swept me off my feet there........."

Phoenix thought that she was holding tightly his legs after the roll up, but after the kickout she realized the opposite. Yet she rolls up too and kneels in one knee, smirking.

"But this is just the beginning, amigo." After saying that, Phoenix goes back to the ropes behind her, bouncing off just to go to the opposite ropes and bounce off again, going towards him as going for a lariat attempt.

Mask smirked underneath his mask, it seemed that Phoenix was rubbing off on him there. Made the Smith wonder what moves she might have outside the ring now~ Still that would have to wait for later because right now the fans were still wanting more from her and the 1 of the 7, which Mask was all too happy to provide for them as he made to scramble into a vertical position in order to properly engage the pinkette.

Still Phoenix was as relentless as ever, when she rose up to meet Mask's challenge she'd be able to succeed in her attempt of clocking him with a lariat. Mask wasn't a massive lad but he was on the taller side, yet momentum did the rest and let the pinkette take him back to the mat there with a loud "Gngf!" from the 1 of the 7 as he fell to the mat and lay on his side there trying to process what just occurred there.

After connecting the lariat as he went down against the mat, Phoenix was standing on both knees before starting to get up a bit slow. First, she placed her right foot over the mat, then she would do the same with the other one as she was standing with a fist closed behind him.

After she stood up at all, Phoenix walks towards Mask and grabs him by the neck with both hands, then she grabs him by the neck and the side as walking backwards to the center, then she lifts him off the ground and keeps him with the head upside down for almost fifteen seconds while smiling with confidence, then she jumps and at the last second...the attempt was a trick! She instantly changed from the standard Suplex to a Falcon Arrow!

Mask had been knocked down before, when you had rabble rousers like Dan and Coyote in your group growing up you learned to get an iron chin and learn to handle it. So it wasn't much of a surprise that despite getting his world rocked there Mask still seemed to have some wherewithal there as he made to get some self recollection on where he was, the 1 of the 7 was rolling onto his left side and muttering "Quién es?" as he did so.

Still it seemed that he would be left open in time for Pink Phoenix to do what she had planned next, Mask was a tall lad with a fair amount of muscle. But his luchadore training made him be blessed with a thin and toned frame, which meant in a pinch you could likely toss him about with enough effort and the pinkette would manage to be able to let the blood run to his head in time to bring him crashing back down to the mat hard!

"Gnh!" Mask sharply grunted out as he would lay splayed out there, the 1 of the 7 was looking indeed to be in dire straits here as he was getting a crash course in what his fellow lucha could provide for him here in the ring!

After the sudden Falcon Arrow which connected, Phoenix could be able to look at Mask who got punished with that move. The pinkette luchadora was few steps back away from him as still standing in the sitting position to catch some breath and recover before keep going.

Few seconds later, Phoenix would stand up on both feet and walk towards Mask to pick him by the neck with both hands just to make him stand up too, then she grabs his hand and irish whips him to a corner. She goes to the opposite corner and smiles with confidence, rushing towards him and hoping to deliver a running dropkick aimed at the chest.
