"Great to hear!"

Oscar smiled back and offered Lisa a handshake to seal the deal.

"Considering how huge Mandy is, we can see about doing so enduring training on top of learning an octopus hold and how to escape a bearhug. That sound good to you for starting out?"

Alice stretched her arms. “That definitely would’ve been helpful last night, let’s do it!”

Oscar would nod and stand up.

"Alright- you seemed to be doing good on those pull-ups so I can join you on that if that's cool"

He would set a bag he was carrying with him down and approached a set of bars next to Alice's set.

Alice shrugged, and continued her pull ups. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Eleven. Twelve. Alice dropped to the ground again to catch her breath.

Oscar was still fresh, so he went ahead with the pull ups while turning to talk to Alice.

"So... can I ask how you got into wrestling? I hear that you're new, right? To LAW I mean"

Panting, Alice responded to Oscar’s query. “Yeah, I was 16 and watched a LAW match, and fell in love with wrestling.” She resumed her pulls ups. “Joined my school’s program and a summer program and got picked up by a LAW talent agent after graduation, so here I am.”

"Aw, that's nice"

Oscar smiled as he did his pull ups.

"I got into wrestling like... two years ago? Saw a local show after high-school and spent that time mostly self- teaching. Got offered to join up after my fourth local show and now I'm doing some proper learning in the training program"

Alice eyed Oscar. “You’re only a young lion? I’ve seen some of your matches, they’re awesome!”

Oscar took a break and beamed at Alice, a hint of blush showing on his cheeks. Dude wasn't used to being recognized it seemed.

"You have? Thank you so much! I think my size helps in a lot of those matches, but the training has been great too! I'd be in more than size, but the suits tell me I've been picked to fight someone experienced making their debut. Supposedly a really big deal for the company so it's just been training, training, and more training until then"

Oscar would sit down and take two water bottles out, offering one to Alice.

"In fact- I think I heard you had a match against a friend of mine. April Starling? Do I have that right?"
