As they were both fighting for position, it appeared as though Karbon was getting the upper hand in all of this, but what he didn't realize was the quick movement that she would preform. The knight was hoping that she would try to match him strength for strength, but it looked like she decided to go for speed instead. A smart play on her part. She was able to break free of the lockup and grabbed a hold of his arm, "Grrr... Stay still!" Karbon commanded as he tried to reach out to her with his left arm, but just missed her by mere inches.
Kyoko then slipped behind him with his arm and forced it upwards on his back, "Gah!" Karbon cried out in pain as he felt his arm getting twisted around. He tried to reach her with his left arm again, but she was too small compared to his frame. Her hold then would be complete and all that Karbon could think about doing to get out of this was going for one of her legs.
With that in mind, the knight would bend over forward and reach in between his legs to try and find one of hers. If he was able to, Karbon would grab ahold of one of her ankles and pull as hard as he could with his free hand. Trying to trip her up to have her release her hold.

The rookie managed to slip behind him after surprising her opponent with such a bold move, taking up the chance to lock up and fooling him into thinking she was trying to test her strength against him yet again. However, she fiendishly fooled the man into a false sense of security, having reversed it successfully.
Kyoko had Karbon locked in and held down, managing to just barely keep him still for a moment as she continued to use what she had learned thus far from the teachings of her senior mentor Reiko. She wrenched his arm behind his back more and more, trying to dish out as much damage as possible to his shoulder blade and arm. Any chance to weaken her opponent further down the line from previous damage would surely aid in her attempts to overcome him and keep him down for the count.
However, her opponent was just as skilled himself. On top of being superior in the realm of strength too, he had a fairly good technical game as he managed to move low enough to grab the shorter woman by an ankle, tripping her up and forcing the petite young woman to lose hold, slip, and fall unto the canvas on her backside.

This girl, for just being a rookie, knew her way around the ring. She was showing some great agility and the chicken wing hold that she applied onto him was textbook. But, Karbon would never admit to such a thing to her, his pride just wouldn't allow for that. Instead, he looked to make short work of her hold with a counter of his own and it worked out nicely. Finding her ankle in between his legs, Karbon pulled upwards and felt her arm loosen around his and felt the vibration of the ring when she landed on her butt and her leg was now sticking in between his, "Ha! Did you really think that you had me with that move?"
Seeing the position that they were both in now, the knight had all the right tools to apply one of his favorite submission holds. He twisted himself around so that he was now facing her, still clutching her leg. He would then circle around her leg with his and fall into a sitting position in front of her, wrapping her leg around so that it bent in a way where her foot and ankle was now crossing over her other leg. Karbon then pulled her other foot up and across his thigh and placed his other leg over top her ankle, locking in a smooth looking Figure-Four Leg Lock!
The knight then took the microphone that was laying in the ring and held it up and shouted, "Go on! Say it! Say that you quit!!!" He would then shove the microphone into her face as she was wincing in pain from the submission move!

Kyoko was absolutely helpless at the moment, she had no other choice but to succumb to Karbon's movements and sudden application of a submission move. She was locked into a world of pain once the Figure Four Leg Lock had been set in stone. She writhed in agony as she twisted and turned all across the canvas, whining and groaning in pain as Karbon wasn't pulling any punches here. Kyoko was driven to madness because of how painful the move was, her ankle felt like it might break at any moment. Still, she tried to focus and choke back the tears, wanting to do her best to make her senpai proud and eventually try her hardest to break free as she tried to reach for any nearby ropes.

The submission hold was still locked in tight, but Kyoko wasn't saying anything at all when Karbon demanded her to quit and put the microphone next to her face. Sensing that she wasn't going to do or say anything, the knight would place the microphone down and continue to focus on the Figure Four Leg Lock. Thing is though, Kyoko's struggling was making it hard for him to keep the pressure on and she was slowly dragging him over towards the ropes. The knight tried to drag her back to the middle of the ring, but it was to no avail as she finally got there and grabbed it with one hand.
"ROPEBREAK!"
The referee would shout, but Karbon didn't care. He kept the leg lock on as the referee began to count him to force him to release the hold, "ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!" Just as he said four though, Karbon released the hold and stood back up with his arms out to indicate that he broke it cleanly, despite the fact that the audience was booing him now like no other.

Kyoko had finally managed to grip the ropes, hearing the referee proclaim a ropebreak call to the audience, ensuring that she had successfully found a way out of the submission hold. However, Karbon wasn't going to be as pleasant and easygoing about it. Kyoko could feel the hold tightening a little as Karbon wasn't immediately letting go, instead choosing to keep her locked down and forced to endure more punishment as Karbon upped the ante and held the submission all the way into a DQ count.
For four hellish counts out of five, Kyoko could feel her legs burning up as she grit her teeth, screaming and yelling out in pain, trying to find a way to recover but feeling so much agony running through her legs. When she was finally released, she took a collective sigh of relief and she tried to escape out to the outside of the ring, falling off the prong and landing on her feet, using the apron as support in order to keep herself standing up.

The Figure-Four Leg Lock proved to be a very effective move, judging from the expression on her face after he finally released the hold. While Karbon was backing away, he watched as Kyoko would use the opportunity to roll herself underneath the ropes to try and create some distance between him and her. "Awww, don't tell me you're running away already?" The knight would say after seeing her little display. The thing is though, Kyoko was using the ring apron to keep herself standing and this gave him an idea.
"That's right, just stay right there and rest." Karbon said with a devious smile before running to the opposite side of the ring. The knight would then bounce off the ropes and used the momentum to rush right back at Kyoko! Just before he reached the other end of the ring, Karbon would drop his weight downwards and extend out both of his legs, looking to hit Kyoko with a Baseball Slide!

Kyoko would remain posted up against the apron of the ring, trying to recover and rest as much as she could. She paid no attention to Karbon's words and insults, instead choosing to just recover while holding on to the apron. However, upon hearing those last remarks from Karbon followed by the sound of footsteps, Kyoko glanced over to where Karbon was and she quickly thought of an idea as she saw the man bounce off the ropes and rebound toward her at breakneck speed. She ducked down as he got closer, aiming to try and make him botch his Baseball Slide attempt and instead slip out of the ring and flop onto the floor outside.

Running at her full steam, Karbon thought he had this move in the bag since Kyoko didn't seem like she was going anywhere. However, all wasn't meant to be for the knight as just when he went down for the baseball slide, Matsumoto ducked down just in time for him to slide right out of the ring and hit nothing. His body going parallel in the air with the floor before it all came crashing down with a thud. "Ohhhhhh..." Karbon moaned as his whole body would ache from the impact.

Kyoko let out a big sign, taking in a deep breath, her chest heaving up and down as she just tried to maintain a steady pattern of breathing. Mind you, she was still recovering from everything thus far, her legs were still in pain from the Figure Four submission from earlier. At least she had Karbon outside of the ring and in pain, she bought herself some time, just what she needed. Instead of continuing to barrage him with moves and threatening to deal any lingering damage on him, the babyface rookie would slip back into the ring, choosing the moral high ground in this fight...whether or not this would be a good idea would be decided later...
