L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Kyoko tried to hold her senior opponent down as much as she could but with one simple buck, the hold was broken and she lost her grip on Reiko, so the woman was able to successfully break the pin mere moments after Kyoko had counted up to one. She didn't even have time to get the first syllable out for the 'two' yet here Reiko was almost on her feet already after kicking out. HER SENPAI WAS SO AMAZING!!! But she couldn't stop there, one more time...she had to get back up, reset, and find a new way to approach as she got back up onto her feet with a roll backward to put some distance between herself and her Oni-senpai. Kyoko let out a minor huff, panting a tad before calming her nerves. Those lessons in aikido were paying off, her small stature allowed her to still be quite the potential threat for those bigger than herself but it also still worked on those who were just as small. She lifts her hands up into a grappling stance and decides to give the next move to Reiko, wanting to see if her counter game had gotten any better...for this, she would need to be on her toes, ready to move quickly and react accordingly.

The moment Reiko broke out of Kyoko's pin attempt she quickly rolled herself into an upright position, taking a knee as she regained her bearings. "Phew..." She let out a breath, feeling the sweat start to form around her body as she gave more effort to the spar. Her eyes looked over Kyoko from her low position, watching and analyzing her. She didn't charge at Reiko, instead waiting for her approach for a counter or further grapple. "Heh," Even if Reiko wasn't directly teaching her, Kyoko was starting to pick up a few of her tricks and methods, and she grinned at the thought. Guess this flower might just bloom with enough time. There was something nice about seeing someone improve their technique, being a part of that process. Reiko couldn't help but grin at the idea, now rising to her feet with her hands up and ready.

Still... she's new to fighting me when I get serious. Reiko moved forward, running straight at Kyoko with her arms out as if to go for a lockup grapple. Then-

"Yah!" She dipped down low, practically sliding along on one knee as she cocked her arm back before thrusting it forward for a low punch at Kyoko's stomach. A karate-style straight punch that was a dodge and strike all in one, and something that'd likely throw Kyoko off given Reiko usually grapple-focused fighting style.

Kyoko had her stance ready, her feet spread out, and her poster hardened and prepared. She was waiting on Reiko's move, slowly shuffling around while keeping a close eye on her mentor and trainer. Every slight move Reiko made caused the young rookie to become frazzled with a bit of fear, not even aware of just how capable the woman was when she got serious. However, as she moved around, she noticed a...smile...on Reiko's face. She was smiling? She was SMILING. Why? Why was she smiling all of a sudden? Kyoko was puzzled and now and a bit curious...but she couldn't just let that distract her, because Reiko began to stand back up and get her own stance ready.

Reiko soon rushed the young, fellow lightweight down and that's when Kyoko reacted. She tried to be sly about trying to counteract Reiko's approach. She would lift her leg up into the air and try to send a Big Boot right to the woman's face...but Reiko began to drop down and SLIDE across right toward Kyoko. The woman's eyes widened as her kick whiffed entirely.

"Guh-!!!" Soon, Kyoko's eyes widened more, a spray of spittle flying from her lips as Reiko's surprise punch came in out of nowhere, completely catching the rookie off guard as she let out a pained grunt. She clutched her stomach and stumbled back, soon finding herself on the canvas after tripping. She fell onto her backside and her ass, letting out a brief wince of pain. She REALLY needed to get used to tumbling and falling, otherwise, she'd be in for a rough ride here with more of the power-oriented grapplers.

Kyoko coughed and sputtered, taking a second to recover before looking up and seeing Reiko standing over her. She listened closely to her Oni-senpai's words and nodded, following along as she completely understood...LAW, despite what the acronym stood for, hosted a myriad of combatants who all knew different styles of fighting outside of your usual pro-wrestling. Different gimmicks, different moves, different preferences and specializations...no one here was the same as another.

Kyoko took Reiko's hand and stood back up, a bit flustered and embarrassed but still holding her head up high. "Y-yes ma'am." She responded, giving a quick bow to Reiko. "Um, if you're okay with continuing, I can keep going, one punch is nothing compared to what I'll see in the future. I've got plenty of energy in the tank." She said, moving back and showing some backbone and resilience as she got her stance again.

Kyoko got her stance and readied herself, bending her knees and watching out for any sudden movements. She saw her senior dashing low, appearing like she was going for her legs. Kyoko let her Oni-senpai get a little closer, allowing for Reiko to reach out and go for the Young Lioness' ankles, but Kyoko would soon pounce immediately after she got in. She dived on top of Reiko in order to set up a Waist Lock while in the sprawl position, leaving her atop her senior and with her arms clasped around her waist in a tight, firm hold.





If all was successful, Kyoko would try to add on a headscissors in order to really wear her Oni-senpai down, wrapping her legs around Reiko's head, silently hoping that her thighs would lock together around Reiko's neck and head.

Kyoko tried to keep Reiko down for as long as possible, trying to conserve stamina as she wrestled against her Oni-senpai on the canvas. Kyoko didn't actually know where to go from this position...she kinda wasn't expecting it to work. NONETHELESS!!! She had to think up of SOMETHING, otherwise, Reiko would break free...and if that happened, it would NOT be good for the Oni's kouhai. With a bit of a deep breath, Kyoko planted her knees down on the floor and tightened the Waist Lock on Reiko. She would make her attempt to lift herself and then Reiko up, forcing all the strength in her body to rise up and raise up her mentor as she attempted to go for a sort of powerbomb on her. Though, it was a desperate play...if it wasn't for Reiko being so lightweight, this would pretty much be impossible for Kyoko.
