Casey continued her moping, even as Grace Moore had made her threat. She definitely didn't want to get her butt kicked, because that was actually the most unpleasant part of the wrestling thing. She let out a deep sigh, which turned into a gasp as the wind was knocked from her stomach.
Crouching against the corner as she recoiled, she held her hands to her ailing stomach, wincing. "Nope... We don't need to... Kick my ass or anything. Maybe just... have a competitive pin match or... you can just hang out outside for maybe ten seconds...?" Kiernan had offered alternatives to actually competing regularly. Mostly, she just hoped the least effort alternatives would appeal to her masked opponent.

"Not a chance."
Grace said plainly, proceeding to line Casey up, making it so that she was standing straight up for this next move. She would bring a leg up and place her boot against the interviewer's neck for a Corner Foot Choke.
The referee soon stepped in to give Grace a warning period of five seconds, Grace intended to go for about three-and-a-half or so if Casey didn't break out soon. One second.....One-and-a-half.....Two seconds.....Two-and-a-half.....

"Okay, well it was worth a sho--Grk!" Casey Kiernan was cut off with a boot in her throat, grabbing hold of the foot and then trying slightly to push it off before flailing her arm to call over the referee, pointing at the boot when she had her attention. As the referee had started to make it count, Kiernan seemed more than content to wait out the count rather than put in the effort to actually try breaking the choke.
Fortunately, the referee came through and Grace was forced to remove her boot before the five count. Gasping, the blonde held her throat with one hand and the top rope with the other, pulling herself up. "...That was... in no ways cool," Casey offered as a retort, looking like she was in pain now, as well as entirely unenthused about the situation.
However, Casey still didn't seem like she was making an effort to get out of the corner. Instead, she was just allowing herself the chance to recover from the choke with the referee keeping Moore from coming back at her. And then, finally, Casey finally walked out of the corner, still rubbing her neck as she pouted at Grace. "Okay... so is this just, like, what you're going to do or... are you going to... not do any of that, maybe?" asked Kiernan, confusingly. It could potentially make more sense to some people, maybe.

"If you're not gonna actually fight, I'm just gonna keep this up...you can either just let it happen and I'll pin you like the pathetic wrestler you are, or you can fight back...either way, I'll still crush you like I have been despite you just running away like a coward." Grace said, taunting and mocking Casey further, walking up and shoving her back with a hard push, the crowd going 'Ooooh', seeing that Grace was really getting up in Casey's face about all of this.

Casey Kiernan didn't love Grace's answer, looking even more sorrowful as she talked. Not because of the insults--she didn't care about her quality as a wrestler even remotely. It was more the fact that Grace was just going to keep forcing the match on her. Frowning, she then allowed herself to be shoved, stumbling back a few paces. "...I can't believe you would call me a wrestler," said Casey, finding that to be the most offensive part of her entire statement.
With a deep breath, hearing the crowd get excited, Kiernan felt herself getting slightly more fired up as well. She would make a bold move, getting ready to seriously assault her opponent now. And so the interviewer pulled back a hand slowly, then threw it forward, giving Grace a shove of her own... with not even enough enthusiasm or force to make her budge even a little bit. Casey couldn't bring herself to commit to even the shove.

Grace merely laughed at the attempt to shove her. She gestured in a mocking way towards Casey, getting the crowd to slightly joke and rag on the interviewer. "I can't believe management actually paired me with YOU...I heard you were a talk-show host, you must be a pretty pathetic one~...What're you trying to accomplish here? An exclusive on getting your butt kicked?"

Casey's eyes wandered as Grace started to diss her even more. And then, she scratched the back of her head with her head as the insults came, seemingly not really offended by any of them. "...Uh, that would... probably not be a good exclusive. But no, I am not a good talk-show host, but I do thank you for saying that," said Kiernan, seemingly taking pride in at least not being an even passable interviewer.
Finally, Casey caved in and rolled her head back with a long, loud groan. "Ugggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh...!" And then, she paused a few beats looking back at Grace with a frown. "What do you want? What can I do... to make this end as soon as possible?" asked Kiernan, coming to terms with the fact that she might need to wrestle this stupid match against her stupid opponent in front of the stupid crowd in the stupid ring.

Grace rolled her eyes, but internally she knew she was getting somewhere. Then Casey caved in..."Perfect.", she thought. Now was the perfect opportunity, if she could sell the moves of someone barely even trying, she'd be on the right track for reaching her goal, a small step towards a much larger personal achievement.
"Actually try to kick my ass, wrestle me...loser~" She mocked.

Casey whined in protest, hating this. Kick her ass? Wrestle? Loser? Obviously the only one in this ring who was a loser was the one who actually wanted to wrestle, clearly. Slumping her shoulders in defeat, Kiernan let out another sad sigh. "Fiiiine..." murmured Casey, stepping forward and looking Grace directly in the eyes, and not looking particularly enthused. With a piercing, mild stare, Casey rolled her one arm, loosening it up.
And then, Kiernan would plant her one leg behind her and pull her arm back, cocking it in a fist. And then, Casey Kiernan threw a wicked forearm directly into Grace's face... the impact being enough to merely roughly push her face to the side. Kiernan's forearm would then rest on Moore's cheek before repeatedly pushing up against her cheek in what would be more of an annoyance than actual pain. Could you imagine actually throwing a solid strike in wrestling? A complete waste of energy.

Grace sold the impact of the first Forearm Strike pretty well, making it seem like there was more 'oomph' to it, so to speak. To say that it pathetically lazy was an understatement. Grace was actually amazed that someone could put THAT little effort into fighting. Her reaction and selling of the move made some of those in the crowd that actually wanted Casey to win to speak up, one fan telling Casey to kick Grace's ass since they saw the successive, and annoying, Forearm Strikes that Casey was delivering as taunting blows since Grace was acting stunned from the first hit, doing a convincing job at selling it all. "Now I just need her to actually do something halfway decent again...", she thought.
