L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Kay bit on her lower lip as she clinched the hold on. This wasn't like before, as Kay was not holding back this time as they did so often in their playful tussles. Once she had a good grip upon Clara's legs, she bent her knees and angled Clara's form, beginning to put terrible pressure upon the base of her spine, bending her into a C like shape. For all Clara's efforts she was unable to prevent the hold... but being more of a trained wrestler, the Brit knew what to do to try and at least counter the worst of the pressure, as well as making a way towards the ropes.

She clawed against the ground, and Kay struggled to maintain the hold as well as she wanted, giving Clara some precious breathing room through the agony upon her spine. The crowd were already getting into the match, and Kay looked to adjust her grip upon Clara, only to be undone by her determination. Though she locked her in for a good minute... Clara would find the ropes. No doubt her spine would be tender from such a brutal hold, but the match was in the early stages and Clara was still fresh. The moment her hand grasped the ropes, Kay did not even wait for the referee to declare it... she already released Clara from her grip.

Her expression was a stoic one, and though it made sense to keep the pressure up, her heart was quietly sinking, seeing Clara in pain... pain that she had inflicted upon her. Kay took a deep breath, finding all of this much harder than she anticipated... She was hating this already. Kay didn't want to hurt Clara... but the two were in a match together.
"Is this really what you wanted?..." Kay couldn't help but bring voice to her thoughts, raising her arms up at her sides, no doubt clearly still agitated that this was happening in the first place. She soon raised her guard though, waiting for Clara to rise and at least get some composure... before she would move back in to attack again, looking to try and throw a few strikes towards her body!

Clara managed to get quite a good torque very quickly. If Clara was even a little bit slower, Kay would have done good damage to her spine. As it were...she still did quite a good bit of damage to her back, having the hold in for a good few seconds. She has really grown as a wrestler since she first met her.

Kay would release the hold even before Clara grabbed the rope, Clara taking a moment to rub her sore spine, glancing to look at Kay, to see how she was doing...and a stoic expression on her face told her everything. She was not into it...as Clara could tell from her words.

She stood up, with Clara raising her hands to approach Kay...only for the blunette to choose an even more aggressive approach, shooting hard strikes to her body!

Clara cried out as she tried to block Kay's punches...and, once she saw a window of opportunity, she would grab her arm, and twist it, first into a wristlock, than try to bend it behind her back for a Hammerlock!

"I...I didn't want it to be like this...after a fight. But I can't lie to you...I wanted to see who was the better out of the two of us for a while...", Clara would say with a guilty giggle, as she kept her girlfriend's arm behind her back, damaging her limb...

Such was the strength of Kay's strikes, that even when blocking against the Canadian, she could see Clara was in discomfort, grimacing and crying out as each fist bit into her defence. Kay was hating it, she really did not want to hurt her girlfriend at all, but she did not want to disrespect her either and hold back. It was the kind of thing she knew Clara was instantly notice. And with that, Drifter could not hold back as much as she desired. Sure she was still angry at her, but this was all a little too much.

Drifter began to cut loose a little too much, over committing to her strikes, and regrettably it had been what Clara was waiting for. It seemed it wasn't just Kay who was using past experience, as Clara was able to catch one of her arms! With a quick transition and a twist, Kay was soon subjected to a wristlock, making her cry out in pain as it was swiftly moved into a Hammerlock hold. This was were Clara specialised, being a true born wrestler and knowing all about chain techniques and holds. Kay grimaced, trying to fight her way free, wincing as Clara began to apply pressure on the hold.

"I... If you didn't want it... why did you do it?" Kay yelped out in clear agitation.
"I... ugh... I would have gladly faced you in different cirumstances... but like this? At a PPV of all events?" Kay helped, before she attempted to try and twist herself out of the Hammerlock hold, knowing she had to get free or her arm would be weakened in the long run.

"I...I...I had to...", Clara stuttered...but she still recalled why they were fighting. She was going to prove to Kay she could protect her.

"I know how stubborn you are...", she told her girlfriend, as she pressed on her thigh with her leg to the ground, getting her to kneel down, Clara getting a better torque on the taller woman's arm:

"Even if I went for Widow or Sandy and beat them up, in the ring or out, this would've kept happening. Some jerk would've gotten angry at you, and would've gotten hurt outside of the ring for this. I know how LAW...how wrestling works. I couldn't just let the matter wait any longer...", Clara would continue applying torque on the Hammerlock, as she tried to kick Kay's remaining leg from under her, trying to put her to the floor as Clara took a seat atop Kay's back, extending her arm:

"...I feel guilty...I feel like I am at fault specifically for you getting attacked at spa. I sent you there, I wanted you to relax, and you ended up getting beat up. I want to ensure this never happens again, and as quickly as possible...", Clara would finish, as she extended Kay's arm for a Fujiwara Armbar!

Kay struggled against Clara's skill and experience in chain wrestling. The moment she tried to pull away towards the ropes, Clara was quick to put a stop to her advance, pressing her leg against Kay's to bring her down to one knee! It did not stop there as she continued to control the slightly taller lightweight, bringing her down onto the mat, bringing the fight to her level which was exactly what Drifter did not want. Clara tried to make her point, and whilst she was not wrong in what she was saying, Drifter still had it in her mind that things could have been settled differently between the two of them.

"That's not your fault Clara... that was going to happen one way or another. Thereisa... uugh! Thereisa has her issues with me... as does Sandy White... None of this is your fault... and I can handle them... I've dealt with their kind in prison... LAW is no different when it comes to bullies! We're both wrestlers... we know what we signed up for. These things happen!" Kay yelped out, before gasping as she was locked into a Fujiwara ambar, with Clara applying it expertly! Kay shouted out in pain, trying to struggle free, looking towards the ropes to see if there was a way she could edge towards them, before wincing as she felt her arm extent beyond a manner in which it was designed to do, making her grunt out loud in pain.

"Don't.... you ever feel guilty! This... this is the life we chose!" Kay yelped between grunts of pain. In the back of her mind however, she knew how hypocritical she was being... She knew she would do the same things to protect Clara in a heartbeat... so why was she being so hard on her for wanting to do the same for her?....

The screams and grunts felt really really awful to Clara. She felt as if she was the one in the hold. Why was this? She had matches against people she had mutual feelings with before...

...and part of her realized that she wanted to protect Kay so badly, that even hurting her felt awful, despite both women being wrestlers in a match, and being able to take hard bumps and limb tearing holds well.

Still, while Kay's words made sense to her, they weren't exactly accurate.

"But why do you think people stay healthy in wrestling?', she questioned her as she made her way to the ropes: "It's because you always have friends in your corner! A buddy who can come running to help you!"

Kay was almost to the ropes, as Clara was about to release her the moment she firmly grabbed the rope:

"Or am I not good enough to come save you from the likes of Sandy or Widow?

Kay grimaced as she managed to finally grasp the ropes, feeling some relief as Clara released her without so much as a look from the referee. Kay would naturally favour her arm, biting on her lower lip as she used her other to help herself scramble up to her feet. There was an aftershock of pain from the release, her arm giving her some issues as she began to shake it to try and loosen it up from all the strain and tension she had just been enduring within Clara's dangerous armbar. Despite her ailments though, Kay was quick to raise her guard once more, a focused look within her eyes as she began to close the distance towards Clara, once again starting things up again as the crowd continued to cheer on both wrestlers.

"Clara... Sandy walked right over me as if I was nothing. I know I hurt her... but it wasn't enough on the day. She threatened you, and I threw everything at her... I couldn't beat her." Kay whispered, a hint of malice within her tone as she relived the memory in her head of what she went through. How Sandy toyed with her, got into her head. Whilst her strikes no doubt did damage to the menacing heavyweight... her reach and her power had been too much for the lightweight...
""By now... she already had me beat.... and yet here we are still fighting, and I've got plenty left in the tank." Kay would go on to say, answering Clara's question in a brutal fashion in a roundabout way.
"I had to experience what Sandy is capable of, I also had to experience Widow at her worse. I don't want you to go through something like that... .... ever... " Kay would add, her words more heartfelt now as she looked towards Clara, her guard lowering just a little.

"I love you Clara... it's why I could never have you go through anything like that." Kay would add, before she slammed her firsts together, knowing the two regrettably still had a match to complete. It was then she advanced upon Clara, much akin to a boxer as she put up her guard, bouncing and weaving a little as she closed the distance, before she looked to throw a gut strike towards Clara. If she landed it, her hopes was to have her girlfriend double over, before she would wrap her arms around her core and lift her upwards, before attempting to slam her in a suplex of sorts! All to try and get her grounded...

Clara held her arms uncomfortably behind her, waiting for Kay to get back up to her feet as she loosened her hurting arms to properly get ready for another round of fighting.

”I know it was a tough life for you before you came into LAW…but trust me, when it comes to inside of the ring, there will be worse, both for me and you…and I want you to be there to help me when that happens to me…and I want me to be there when it happens to you…”

The match continued, as Kay got into a punching stance, less so a grappling one. Clara tried to anticipate where the punch would come from…but Kay’s punches were too fast for her, this time included as she rammed her fist into her gut!

With a cry, Clara doubled over, allowing Kay to grab her head and suplex her right onto her back!

”N-not bad!”, she praised her girlfriend, trying to find a way back onto her feet, holding her hurting back with one hand and trying to get up with another, but she would definitely not get back up before Kay did…

Drifter was quick to spring into action when Clara tried to rise. Her training sessions with the Brit were beginning to show, as she managed to flick her legs out and catch Clara's own before she was fully up to her feet. The motion caused Clara to fall to the mat before she was fully up, killing a lot of her momentum. The problem for Kay was in her position she could not do a great deal... she was not at the level of Clara and though her trip was successful, she was not slick enough yet to lock in a submission or leg hold as she initially intented.

Still... her efforts were not wasted, as she was able to throw herself more forwards, wrapping her legs around Clara's core from the side in a side bodyscissors hold. Her bare ankles slapped together, as Kay straighened her alluring form, leaning upon one of her elbows whilst her legs stretched out and squeezed Clara's midriff. The bodyscissors was a hold Clara usually teased Kay with during their more playful spars, though there was nothing playful about the pressure Drifter was inflicting upon GASTER's bare midriff, as her thighs tensed up and squeezed Clara in a vice like grip. Knowing she had already struck Clara's core, this hold would add the pressure in more senses than one.

"After today... it's gonna' be my job to keep you safe. Not the other way around..." Kay whispered to Clara, with quite a series hint and implication to her tone, before she upped the pressure around her girlfriend, squeezing her for all she was worth!

Quickly, Kay would get to work after suplexing Clara onto the canvas. The normally playful squeezes from their spars turned into breathtaking hold now, as Clara tried to resist Kay trying to get every last bit of air out of the Brit!

"Guuuuugh...", Clara slowly groaned, feeling her girlfriend's thighs as they squeezed away at her core, trying to push away at them to little success...as Kay explained her intentions after the match.

It was strange. It was a complete opposite of what an angry bloodrival of hers would say, wanting to beat her up post match...but it made her angrier than if that were the case. If she lost, Kay would still throw herself at the mercy of people who wanted to beat her up for simply being her stubborn, brash self...and worse yet, doing it in cases where she herself had those problems, likely even if they were beyond her power!

Clara pushed her body with her feet, trying to force Kay's back against the canvas, to pin her to the canvas and force her to abandon the bodyscissors!

"I won't...let you!"
