Two unstoppable forces clash! - Harper Adams (D) vs Janet Wiilams (D)

Where Harper had only managed to get a couple scraping strikes Janet got really powerful hits. The first blood was Janet’s as she got a powerful uppercut going and got Harper staggered, but that was only the beginning of it as the pale woman got a grip on the greenette and started smashing her knee against Harper’s stomach. The first of them were manageable, but with each consecutive hit Harper’s head started to drift as she had to fight the pain in her abdomen and the lack of air, not to mention the sudden urge to puke her insides.

Coughing in anguish as all air escaped her lungs and the punishment continued, Harper knew clearly that she needed to do something. Her body might be unresponsive but her will to fight was burning and sometimes that was just enough. Instead of falling limp as anyone reasonable would think of someone getting that punishment, Harper would use her bent over position to plant her feet on the canvas and use it to gain some momentum with a sudden shoulder charge at her rival’s own midsection with a roar that combined her fury and frustration.

First came the uppercut that became the first true strike that landed in this whole match. Second came the barrage of merciless knees aimed at the spot that Janets fist had marked. Locking her hands behind Harper’s head, the Jet would slam knee after knee into the greenettes belly. Feeling the air burst past her opponents lips with each one she landed while at the same time trying to push her towards the ropes behind her.

However before Janet could and thereby continue to punish the green haired woman. Harper rallied and would suddenly charge forward and shove Janet away with such power, that the pale woman was nearly flung to the other side of the ring. Quickly rolling to her feet, Janet would look up in a measure of surprise. Before quickly raising her arms back up in preparation for whatever her opponent had in store.

Even if Harper found herself in a predicament fast there was some silver lining in the fact that one of her strikes finally managed to connect and make some damage. Finding strength in a very bad moment the greenette lunged forwards with a shoulder charge that got her rival down. Now Janet knew that Harper meant business and was no pushover.

It took some instants for the pale woman to get up and regain her composure and Harper would have loved to capitalize on the situation and get a powerful follow up, but she had just been severely punished by Janet’s attacks to her stomach so even if she wanted to get some sweet revenge her body needed some instants to get some rest and recover. When Harper noticed her rival getting up and raising her arms she had an idea. She would strike with a low kick aimed at the side of her rival’s knees, trying to get Janet by surprise and get her to fall.

With anyone else, Janet would already be bringing this match home. Her onslaught had brought down the toughest of opponents and she was only just getting started with the greenette in front of her. Unfortunately, Harper was made of sterner stuff and managed to shove the pale woman from Detroit away with a surprising amount of strength. Stumbling back slightly, Janet was able to regain her footing and bring her arms back up.

The fighter assumed that her opponent would come after her stomach or head for some revenge. But Janet would once again be surprised when Harper instead shot a short kick straight for the side of her knee! Not expecting the attack, the Jet was only able to bring up her leg and mitigate the damage with a sharp hiss. Of course the force of which was still enough to knock the pale woman off balance slightly.

After what looked like a sloppy beginning to the match Harper was starting to get the hang of the match and her rival. Of course a match between two sluggers like her and Janet wouldn’t be about how it starts but about who starts getting winded up the first. Between people like them it was commonly accepted that they were going to be trading blows for a long while, so it was all about who had the iron jaw that could withstand the most punishment and remain standing.

Going back to action, Harper went for an unexpected move when targeting Janet’s legs. It proved fruitful as the pale woman was clearly expecting some follow up to her chest and got a direct hit. Seeing her rival relenting a little off-balance Harper knew that was exactly her cue, the chance she had been waiting for. “Now!” Lunging forwards the greenette would rush to get a grab at both her rival’s thighs and then pulled with all her strength in order to get Janet down on her back with a sudden double leg takedown.

It was a good start for Janet. She won the first altercation with her opponent and showed that she meant business. Unfortunately, it was now Harpers turn to strut her stuff. And she did so by sending a surprising kick to the side of Janets leg. Knocking the Jet off balance and setting her up for a double legged takedown she simply couldn’t stop. A grunt shooting past her lips as her back impacted against the canvas.

This wasn’t the first time Janet had been in this position. It was practically the first mma grab taught to new comers. A fighters bread and butter if you will. It was how she knew that she was actually dealing with a legit fighter in Harper instead of the usual wrestler that is common around this league. Which is why the Jet would try to stop the greenettes momentum before she could do too much damage by reaching up and pulling Harpers head in close for a headlock. Her legs attempting to wrap around her opponents waist to keep her in place.

After the double leg takedown was successful there was a pretty simple and logical course of action for Harper which was to straddle that rival and start pounding her to unconsciousness, but of course Janet had something to say about that and that plan wouldn’t come to fruition since the pale woman showed great reflexes and resourcefulness when she managed to flip the tables on Harper by pulling her into a headlock and by wrapping her muscled legs around the greenette’s waist!

Harper clenched her teeth and groaned in a mix of disgust and pain from the suddenly uncomfortable position. Those legs of Janet were tightly secured around Harper’s waist and from there there was no way she could pry them open with brute force, so she would need to convince Janet to release her with other method. Positioning didn’t give Harper much choices so she started getting some momentum with her arms and punched Janet on the side of her stomach first one, then a second and then a third time in quick sucession in an attempt to force a release.

This was quickly turning from what was supposed to be a wrestling match to two women duking it out like they were in the UFC. Janets legs ensnared Harpers waist, and her arms would yank the greenette down into a headlock. Squeezing tightly and doing her best to not allow the other woman to recuperate or breathe. Her legs squeezing so tight that they threatened to snap Harper in half!

That didn’t mean the greenette was inactive during all of this. Janets opponent would respond by delivering blows to the pale woman’s sides one after another. The Jet’s teeth would grit as she felt each fist hammer against her ribs. The pale woman would hold on for as long as possible, but even she could feel her grip slipping as time passed. So in an effort to create some distance, Janet would try to release and kick Harper away. The Jet rolling the opposite way so that they would be on either sides of the ring.

Given the body build and the two wrestlers’ background the match was at that point more like something out of a MMA ring than of a wrestling one. Harper approved that since it was closer to her area of expertise. Of course one of those matches was full of back and forth action in which sometimes one had to be on the giving end but also in the receiving, and as she was locked in that headlock Harper was in the receiving. However, she still had some room to show Janet that she wasn’t going to just take any punishment lightly, and she did that with several punches against her ribcage.

Suddenly Janet released the headlock. The kick that came after got Harper by surprise and she relented to get some breath. Nonetheless, Harper knew she had to capitalize from her current situation and strike when Janet was at her weakest, so the greenette would rush towards her rival, feigning a punch that would suddenly transition into a quick elbow strike to Janet’s chest with the intention of taking her down!

Finally that clinch was released and both Janet and Harper separated from one another. Both rolling away to pick up some distance to recover from the others attacks. Harper from Janets headlock and scissor hold. And Janet from the pounding her rib cage took. Unfortunately for the Jet, Her opponent recovered faster and was soon rushing upon her with an elbow strike aimed for her chest!

Janet needed to think fast or else Harper would just knock her on her ass again! So stabilizing her feet, Janet would wait until the greenettes elbow was right on top of her before suddenly twisting her body, grabbing hold and forcing her opponent to flip over her shoulder in a takedown. Then without wasting a beat, Janet would mount herself on top of the greenette and proceed to try and pound her face in with a ground and pound!
