A Magician's Prisoner...or a possible friend...

"You are lucky people think you are cute, but I'd watch it." Ayumi mused with a annoyed sigh. She had gotten into her own fair share of juvinile spats though had not matured as well as one might've hoped off those experiences. Still, she was the one who had the power here, not Piper and she aimed to remind her of that.

"Say why don't you go and get me a cup of ice. I do need something nice and cold when our drinks and food come." Ayumi said with a playful smirk of her own. As she knew Piper could not saw no.

Piper growled softly as she was reminded of her place by the magician. Every part of her body wanted to say no to her request, to storm out and leave a wreck in her wake, or better yet get the glass of ice only to throw it in Ayumi's face.

Those are all things Piper wanted to do, but she couldn't. Because she knew if she did than she would only get in trouble for it later on. So for now the blonde reluctantly swallowed her pride and went to the kitchen, getting the glass of ice as requested and bringing it back over to the magician. "Here." Piper said shortly, not even properly handing it to Ayumi, but rather placing it on the counter before storming off once the door bell rang to get their food.

Ayumi had a smug grin on her face as Piper was made to go get her glass of ice. Yeah, she could get used to this as she worked to sit back and get nice and comfortable for the night ahead.

Soon the little slave for a day came back with the cup of ice, and went to get the food which saved Ayumi the trouble. "Aw thanks doll, you are a natural at this~" Ayumi mused with a wink as she saw the food and lemonade that she poored into her glass and smiled. This was gonna be a lovely dinner~.

Piper bristled once Ayumi called her a doll and offered a backhanded compliment of her skills as a servant for the girl. Growling softly in the back of her throat Piper would grumpily take her seat next to the woman. "Whatever just put something good on." Piper said getting her own plate and opening the utensil packet to start eating while waiting for her former opponent to start whatever it was she wanted them to watch.

"How rude, I would've expected better manners." Ayumi grumbled, but flipped through the TV guide as she began to read off some shows or films that were on. "Big Bang Theory? Meh. Kid Baking Championship? Yeah, right. Oh! Mean Girls!?" Ayumi mused, then her tone shifted to surprise when she saw Mean Girls was on, just starting. Course she had no idea how Piper felt about that.

"Well then I'm happy to disappoint." Piper grumbled out from her spot next to the magician while opening up the container of her salad and taking a bite with a pout on her face. Idly watching and half listening to Ayumi's mumbling Piper's eyes would widen when she heard and saw the movie the silver haired girl suggested. "Mean girls!" Piper said far more enthusiastically than she had intended before realizing the words that came out of her mouth and immediately going tight lipped as a result. "I mean uh, mean girls is fine I guess." Piper said with a shrug, trying to play her excitement off.

Ayumi had taken note of the reaction, and how quickly she tried to pass it off as more subdue. Course, Ayumi herself was excited seeing Mean Girls on and perhaps that caused her to not pick up on it. Least right away. "Oh wow I lov...I uh, I mean Mean Girls is fine I guess." Ayumi said as she also tried to play it off cool. None the less she clicked on it the minute she had consent to do so and sure enough the start of Mean Girls picked up as Ayumi could not fully hide her smile.

Evidently both of them were at least somewhat into the idea of watching mean girls. Even if both were doing their best to play it off and not react too much, but as the movie started Piper couldn't help but smile softly as it did. Looking over to Ayumi she noticed a similar smile on her opponent and blushed slightly as she focused back on the movie.

"So..." Piper said awkwardly as she looked around for a moment before finally sighing and committing to the question. "So who's you're favorite character?" Piper asked using the most basic of all basic ice breaker questions, deciding that if she could at least bone with Ayumi over her favorite movie it may make her pow experience a little less awful.

Ayumi was of course oblivious as Piper peaked into her smile, as she turned she also saw a small smile as the movie played and this caused her to look forward with her own mild blush. Seemed even for a pair who had been on each other's nerves as they had this film offered a possible middle ground for a more...tolerable coexistence.

"O-oh..." Ayumi said, not having expected to be asked a question during the film, and while she could use her POW privilege to deny an answer she felt compelled to give one all the same. "...well, I've always Regina's corner. Rachel McAdams is ama...does the role quite well." Ayumi said, with a clearing of her throat to try and die down the "amazing" slip of the tongue.

Piper waited and watched with a slight blush as her former opponent answered her question. It was awkward to say the least, given the animosity between the two during their match and after the fact that they were now somewhat bonding over a movie was... hard for her to accept but she supposed it was fine, better than before at least.

Hearing the magicians answer to her question helped quite a bit as well. After all things were always easier when you both rooted for the same person. "Yeah I always liked her." Piper said with a nod before blushing again. "I... even kinda modeled a lot of how I acted in high school after her." She said, struggling to admit that particular detail to her former opponent.
