Cali McCloud vs Katori Kimura

Cali was successful in hitting the German suplex. However she didn't expect Katori to thrash about so early and broke out at the count of one. With Katori rolling away, Cali did the same before she rushed Katori once more and leaped into the air for a jumping crossbody attempt.

Katori managed to break free from Cali's strong German Suplex pin attempt and get some distance from her after getting back to her feet. Cali certainly has more power and endurance than Katori does, but at the same time that can be used against her for the angel's advantage. Right on cue, once Cali was back on her feet, she charged at Katori then leaped up to go for a Jumping Crossbody on her!

This was her chance, as Katori was already braced backed away, she was ready. The Mighty Successor will hold her arms out and catch Cali in mid air, taking a few steps back from the impact pushing her, before spinning around with Cali in her arms then dropping down to slam her back first into the mat, using her own power and momentum against her!

Cali thought that she still had the advantage when she went for the jumping cross body. What she didn't expect was to be suddenly caught in Katori's arms and was now at the Angel's mercy.

"All right, fair play." Cali muttered in admittence of Katori's strength before being promptly slammed onto the mat, arching her back in pain as she laid by Katori's feet.

Using Cali's own momentum against her, Katori caught her opponent in mid-air and slammed her down onto her back, effectively stunning her for a bit. Now with the bigger woman down on the mat, Katori had an opening to exploit on her.

Getting back up to her feet, Katori would move towards Cali's legs, grabbing and lifting one up to get ready for a submission hold. She'll step over and twist around the leg before reaching down to grab the other leg then drop herself down, putting Cali in a Figure-4 Leg Lock. On top of that, Katori will raise herself up and down repeatedly increase the pressure and pain to Cali's legs.

Cali was still reeling from the counter when she felt her muscular legs suddenly twist into a Figure-4 that was expertly applied.

"Agh!" Cali cried out as the submission was fully locked. She groaned in pain, initially trying to break the hold through brute force out of it, but Katori proved to be more technically proficient than expected. So Cali decided to crawl her way to the ropes, trying to drag Katori with her to the other side of the ring to get the ropes.

Having brought the muscular woman down to the mat with a counter slam, Katori took advantage of Cali's vulnerability to put her in a Figure-4 Leg Lock submission hold to continue to ride her momentum and up the pressure in her favor.

With the Wrestle Angel lifting her legs up and down to add further pain to weak Cali's legs, the attempts the woman tried to break free through force were nullified. But then she feels her opponent attempt to drag herself and Katori towards the ropes, but the Mighty Successor isn't going to make this easy for her. Once Cali gets them closer to the ropes, Katori will lean herself back and put her hands against the mat to push herself in a bridging position while also lifting up Cali's legs, transitioning the hold from a Figure-4 to a Figure-8!

Cali was fingertips away until Katori transitioned into a figure-8 where the pain in Cali's knees went from bad to excruciating. Through gritted teeth did Cali managed to finally grab the bottom rope for the break.

Katori worked at Cali's legs in the Figure-4 Leglock submission with all she had during this chance to weaken her in the long run, and once she managed to crawl close to the ropes, the Wrestle Angel transitioned to the Figure-8 leglock to further put pain on Cali's legs. Which certainly worked as it paused her opponent's efforts to crawl to the ropes.

But soon enough, Cali worked through her pain and successfully grabbed the bottom rope with the ref-girl calling for the break. Katori immediately followed through with releasing her opponent from her submission hold, untangling her legs from hers as Katori stood up and walked aways from Cali to give her space and let her get back up as she stood near the ring's center with her hands on her hips.

Cali groaned once Katori released the submission hold and slid out onto the ring where she looked to get a bit of a reprieve and get some feeling back into her legs.
