Practice Makes Perfect

Erin kept up her grin as slowly but surely she managed to force Audrey back towards the ropes. She was quite proud of the progress she was making against her larger opponent. That would soon stop however as the other woman got her footing and started exerting just as much force back at Erin. "Nnnnnng...damn. Guess that size ain't just for show." The redhead commented through grit teeth, trying just to keep up. For now though their movement stopped.

Suddenly Erin felt herself sliding back. To her surprise she was slowly being forced towards the ropes. Under normal circumstances she would just try to tough it out, generally unwilling to be undone by her opponent. But today was about improvement and perhaps if she wanted to get back to winning she had to try something new. Erin would push back only to suddenly let up and try to shift herself to the side. She hoped to use Audrey's momentum against her and slip behind the woman who she hoped would be stumbling forward. If she got away with her little plan the redhead would go right back to trying to overpower her foe by trying to catch her in a tight bearhug from behind.

Pushing Erin back, Audrey was slowly gaining momentum as she brought the younger woman closer and closer towards the ropes. But then, Erin proved herself to be quite crafty as she suddenly let up and shifted herself to the side, and the momentum from Audrey caused the mature woman to stumble forward. "Whuh?!" But Audrey didn't spend years in this industry to make such an amateurish mistake like that because she quickly regained her footing, but Erin managed to find herself an opportunity to get back at her by wrapping her in a bearhug.

"Guhh..." Gasping out as Erin enveloped her in a tight bearhug, Audrey found herself to be having difficulty to breathe. Despite her size, the Irish girl proved herself to be quite powerful in terms of physical strength, but Audrey herself wasn't one to be scoffed at as she would then try to shake herself while she was trapped in Erin's bearhug, hoping to make it difficult for the younger woman to maintain the hold, thus allowing herself to break free. She had to admit that Erin was a lot better than she expected, but she wasn't one to lose to some youngster either.

Managing to get right behind her sparring partner, Erin immediately put the squeeze on the other woman. Her arms would dig into Audrey's sides as she constricted them. Of course the veteran wrestler wasn't without an answer though and was doing a great job at keeping Erin more or less at bay. Moving around with Audrey, the redhead found it quite difficult to maintain her grip on the ever moving woman. "Nnnng come on. I just wanted a hug. Don't be so squirmy!" She teased before finally releasing her already deteriorating grip and giving Audrey a hard shove forward.

"Heh ok got it. You don't like hugs. Shame." Erin commented before taking a quick step back. "Show me what you can do then." The brawler continued. While she would normally just try to serve up a heaping helping of offense, for the sake of actually trying to learn something Erin would wait for Audrey to make a move. Watching carefully she was curious to see how a veteran approached things and just hoped she wasn't in for an unpleasant surprise.

Thanks to her struggling, Audrey was finally freed from the bearhug, and she was shoved away by Erin, and she would quickly regain her bearing as she looked at the younger woman before her. "It's my turn now." With that, Audrey would come closer to Erin, seemingly trying to lock up with her, but as she got closer, she would quickly slip to Erin's side, looking to grab onto one of her arms before moving behind her, attempting to lock her in a hammerlock by twisting her arm and putting it on her back. She would push the arm upwards in order to apply pressure on her shoulder and arm in the submission hold.

"Hmmm?" Erin grunted as Audrey quickly closed the distance between them. Almost immediately Erin found herself with her sparring partner at her side and twisting her arm in quite an uncomfortable position. The redhead winced in pain as she started to squirm about and flail her free arm backwards. "Gah shit...I hate these. I suuuuck at these." She complained before shooting an elbow back towards Audrey. Perhaps she would have been better if she hadn't made an announcement but that wasn't the thought going through her head right now. Having generally relied on just powering through most things, Erin usually found herself unprepared to deal with even simple holds in any manner other than hoping to get a quick shot in or making her way towards the ropes.

Luckily for the redhead the ropes weren't terribly far away and so she'd reach out towards them in hopes that she could just take a few steps forwards and find herself quickly released. Otherwise she'd likely have a bit more to deal with a a couple of moments which she was far from looking forward to.

Locking Erin in the hammerlock, Audrey would make sure to milk it for all it's worth, applying pressure in the affected area. She grunted when she took the elbow shot from the younger woman, but she kept applying the hold, knowing that a single elbow shot wouldn't be enough to stop her from keeping the pressure going. "Well, you better start not sucking, then..." Audrey teased the younger woman, looking to bring her hand up to apply more pressure in the hammerlock.

Fortunately for Erin, she was already close to the ropes, and after a few steps, she got herself a rope break, and while this spar had no referee, Audrey decided to follow the rules by releasing the younger woman from the hammerlock. Then, she would step away from her, preparing herself for their next clash with each other. "So... you got problem with submission holds, huh?" Audrey asked as she would get herself into a stance.

"I know that's not...nnnng! Innuendo!" Erin started to say before suddenly gasping as more pressure was applied to the hold. "But it kinda...sounded like it." She commented. Seeing as her quick hit didn't have much of an effect, the redhead was left with no choice but to make it to the ropes. Luckily those weren't too far and withing a few moments she was able to grab them. Sure there was no referee to make Audrey let go but Erin was thankful her sparring partner was playing by the rules.

After her arm was freed, Erin let out a sigh of relief. She took a moment to shake her arm out before turning to face Audrey. "Yeaaaah...I probably shouldn't be telling ya this but I'm pretty useless with them. Have to crawl to the ropes every time AND I can do like two." She admitted. She tried to keep a smile on her face but admitting weakness wasn't exactly the happiest occasion for the redhead. "But hasn't stopped me TOO much." She continued, now with a grin back on her face. "Lemme show ya."

And with that Erin was back in action, stepping forward and aiming a quick light jab to Audrey's ribs.

Audrey listened to Erin with a smile, knowing what she meant. "Well, at the very least the ropes are helping..." she said to Erin. And then, as she prepared herself for her next clash with the youth, she saw Erin closing in before she took a jab at her rib. "Ngh!" Grimacing a little from the hit, Audrey could take it just fine, and hoping to turn things around in her favor, she would try to grab onto Erin's hand, locking her in place so that she could try something on her.

If she managed to trap Erin's arm, Audrey would try to hammer her forearm right across her chest, looking to stun her in preparation for her next move. She wanted to see if Erin could take some punishment or not.

"You cheeky bitch." Erin said with a chuckle before landing a quick hit right to Audrey's ribs. That would teach her to mouth off to Erin, or so she hoped. It appeared that she hadn't put quite enough power behind her punch to really stagger the larger woman though who had quickly grabbed hold of Erin's hand and was keeping her in place while the redhead tried to pull herself back.

Before she managed to back herself up, the redhead was on the receiving end of a swift and hard blow to her chest. "Guuugh!" Erin gasped, staggering backwards as her chest bounced from the impact. Sure the hit stung but it wasn't enough to do any real damage to the brawler. She might have been a bit surprised and stunned for a moment but if she was given a moment or two she'd come back with a chop to Audrey's chest herself.

Trapping Erin's arm, Audrey managed to smash her forearm against Erin's chest, which she thought would send her reeling. But the redhead proved herself to be quite tough as she soon retaliated by sending a chop at her chest. "Urghh!!" Her breasts bounced from the impact, but she quickly planted her feet in order to stop herself from reeling.

This time, she would try to spin herself around, looking to make use of her momentum to strengthen her next move, which was a discus forearm smash right across Erin's chest. This blow would be more powerful than before, and she thought this would at least leave some mark on the redhead.
