Saying Hello to the Amazon (for Highfly)

Erika's counter worked better than expected! As she delivered the suplex to Alaina, the entire ring shook from the impact, and the crowd roared with disbelief, as Alaina gingerly went rolling under the ropes.

Grinning, Erika hopped to her feet. "That was a good start, champ," she called out, "but it's my turn now!" Breaking into a run, Erika rebounded off the ropes before running back at Alaina, dropping low to try to nail her with a baseball slide!

Alaina was down and trying to get up with Erika came crashing into her sending her rolling near the ropes! "Ugh!" Alaina groaned as she felt her side get smashed by the running dropkick. She shook her head and slapped the mat as she again tried to rise back to her feet. Her head was more clear but that shot to the torso left her throbbing. She didn't want to look like a chump in front of the fans or this new woman but Erika was proving to be more of a handful than Alaina anticipated!

After nailing Alaina with the baseball slide, Erika dropped down next to the Amazon and followed after her. "Come on champ," she called to Alaina as she grabbed a hold of her head, "the fans are expecting something better!" Unless Alaina did anything to stop her, Erika would drag Alaina up to her feet and spin around, breaking into a run to ram her face-first into the announcer's table!

Alaina felt herself pulled up and taunted by the young wrestler. She grit her teeth and as they ran to the announce table she stuck her leg out to stop herself against the table, swinging an elbow up into Erika's face! "Better huh? If ya want to be humbled so be it!" Alaina said as she then looked to slam Erika's face off the table a couple times as hard as she could to soften her up!

Erika was feeling on top of the world as she yanked Alaina up by the hair and dragged her across the ringside floor. Before she could introduce the Amazon's face to the announcers table, though, Alaina's elbow exploded in her face! "UUUGH!" She grunted, releasing Alaina and staggering back...allowing the Amazon to grab her head and ram her face, again and again, into the table! After the third or so impact, Erika slumped to her knees, moaning against the table as she lay against it in an utter daze.

Alaina was taking command again and outside she knew she had a chance to really try to do some damage. She grabbed hold of Erika and scooped her up, lifting her and holding her across her chest before stomping over to the ring post looking to smash Erika's lower back against the ring post while running at full speed!

If she succeeded Alaina would slam Erika's back down against the corner of the apron as hard as she could looking to solidify early control against the young woman.

Erika groaned as she felt her hair getting grabbed. She winced as she was scooped up by Alaina, staggering as the Amazon guided her over to the ringpost, and then--

THWACK!

Erika was swung around and sent slamming back-first into the corner post. She did not scream on the impact, but her teeth did clench before she toppled down onto her front, one arm gingerly clutching her back as, for a moment, she was down and out at Alaina's feet.

Alana needed to get them back in the ring, but she didn't want to give up the advantage she had so easily. She grabbed Erika and lift her up again but this time she would step forward to deliver a back breaker to the young woman before shoving her back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. The amazon would slide in herself and go for a pin right after hoping she had done enough to punish this woman, curious to see how long it would take before she kicked out.

"Aaaaah....aaaffffff...." Erika bit back a curse as she clutched her hurting back. In front of her, Alaina was relentlessly hauling her up, lifting her up. For a moment, Erika thought she was going to ram her into the corner post, or fling her across the outside of the ring. Instead, Alaina brought her body down again, slamming back-first across Alaina's outstretched knee.

Her stifled shriek filled the auditorium as she bounced off Alaina's knee and rolled onto the floor again, whimpering in pain. A second later, though, Alaina was hauling her to her feet and rolling her into the ring. And a second after that, Alaina was covering her for a pinfall.

"ONE..."

That, however, was as far as the countdown got before Erika twisted her body sharply with a yell, getting a shoulder up. She wasn't out yet, though she had just taken quite a bit of punishment from the Amazon...

Erika kicked out at one. Alaina looked on in shock figuring to at least get a two count after all that. She shook her head and had no clue what it would take to keep this woman down, but she couldn't let up. Alaina pulled Erika to her feet and grabbed her around the waist looking to try to keep hammering away at her as she knew she had to do quite a bit more work. The amazon was trying to lift and spin to spine buster the challenger against the mat as hard as she could! Alaina wasn't going to stop, she couldn't. She answered a challenge and found herself in a nasty, rough battle!
