Aarna frowned more when Izumi affirmed her stressors. Seeing them laid out like that hardly made her feel better. But fortunately her stretching partner had far more to say, and almost immediately, Mehta's cheeks darkened as she cracked a smile. Someone could look at her all day? The wink was just a kicker that sent a shiver down her spine.
Swallowing hard to compose herself, Aarna listened to the rest of Tachibana's questions, thinking on them. She posed some solid questions and suggestions. Her face wrinkling in slight delight when Izumi squeezed her thigh. She let out an awkward laugh at that, trying to keep herself collected.
"My job is very necessary," stated the Indian girl first, turning and getting out of her pose to simply sit cross-legged in front of Izumi with a sigh. "I need something to fall back on in case this wrestling doesn't work, and my job is now tied into the wrestling now too..."
Aarna ran a hand through her silver locks and then added, "I wouldn't even know how to change my attitude. I get anxious even thinking about it..." Mehta's eyes lingered on Izumi's face for a moment more and then she threw in as her face drifted to the side, becoming more interested in a pair of women talking instead. "You're easy on the eyes too, by the way..." said Aarna, trying to keep her cool by not looking at Tachibana as she said that, repaying the earlier compliment.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Izumi could see that her compliments and physical contact were definitely having a affect on Aarna and in turn was reaping some flirtations back from the Indian girl, definitely something to keep in mind for later. "Hehe why thank you." Izumi said with another wink before sobering up a bt as she processed the rest of what the girl said.
Quitting didn't seem to be an option for her especially since her job seemed tied to wrestling for now. Tricky. "I see... and you're job, I'm sure it must offer vacation or personal days no? Do you have any that you can use? Just to provide yourself a mental break and some time to focus your efforts elsewhere?" Izumi asked even though she felt that would be a temporary fix at best.
Luckily though the other issue Aarna spoke of was a fairly easy one for Izumi to deal with. "As far as changing your attitude goes, I can certainly help. I had to do so a lot on my travels, sometimes all it takes is something to build confidence through learning something. Maybe I can teach you some techniques I've picked up?" Izumi offered with a smile.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Aarna Mehta sat in front of Izumi, enjoying that she seemed to have a positive response to her compliment. She humbly shrugged her shoulders, but her expression shifted to disappointment again. "Vacation and personal days are a thing, but... I need to clear it with my boss, and to do that, I need to ensure I leave at a time that won't cause issues, and if I'm gone it just... usually causes issues," explained the silver-haired busy body., eyes drifting downward.
She cleared her throat and then looked back as Izumi offered to help change her attitude. She looked more curious and amused than anything. "I have some techniques of my own, but... I wouldn't mind hearing even more of them though," explained Aarna, waiting another beat. She sighed and said after, "I'm terrible at it. And I never commit. But who knows? Maybe this is the time I actually stick with it. Having it explained to me by a gorgeous girl might be the way that I can properly absorb it."
Then, Mehta closed her eyes, stifling a gasp at how forward she was. But then she simply opened her eyes back up, biting back a smile and gesturing for her to continue.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Izumi sat back and hummed softly as she listened to Aarna's response about vacation days. Taking into account some options and ideas before sighing softly. Deciding it would be better to come back to this later. "I see... most complicated. Honestly you're patience and dedication to such a job is truly admirable, I'd never last at such a thing." Izumi said with a chuckle as she sat back. Luckily though it seemed that she was at least having some better luck with getting Aarna to consider learning some techniques from her which Izumi was all for.
"Oh excellent! In addition, I can also teach you some kung fu if you'd like, in general, I feel like learning a skill such as that is great for confidence." Izumi said excitedly with a clap of her hands as she shot up to her feet before offering a hand to Aarna. "I've always wanted my first student to be a cutie such as yourself." Izumi said with a wink to the girl.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Aarna Mehta's mouth tightened slightly at Izumi's acknowledgement of her position. It was an unenviable one, and she had asked the usual questions when Aarna had to explain it, so she was ready for them. Still, she enjoyed humoring Tachibana, and was smiling at her shortly after as she spoke. It was when she asked about Mehta doing kung fu that the Indian girl looked slightly amused. She took Izumi's hands, ready to respond before that compliment came. It sent her for a pause, instinctually gripping Izumi's hand tighter when they stood.
"Ah... well... thanks..." muttered Aarna at first before shaking her head, clearing her throat. "I know the basics of kung fu. Not terribly in-depth though..." Mehta, realizing that she still had Tachibana's hand, drew it back, wiping it on her, offering her an awkward smile. "But I wouldn't be opposed to learning even more of it... with a, uh, cutie teacher... Obviously,"[/color] answered Aarna with a toothy smile, composing herself now.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Flirting was in full effect between Aarna and Izumi, between both and with seemingly no stop between them. Something that was just fine with Izumi as she flashed a dazzling smile to Aarna, or should she say her first 'student' as it were. "No problem, and honestly you having some experience will make it all the easier, just fine by me, we can keep it... loose." Izumi said with a wink before strutting over to the mats to begin their lesson, running Aarna through various stances, strikes and eventually leading up to some of her favorite katas and routines, ones that she knew were especially good for losing yourself and deepening focus, forgetting about worries and stress, which is what she knew what Aarna would need.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Aarna Mehta was able to keep up with Izumi rather well through this little training session. If there was anything she was good at, it was learning. And with her knowledge base here, it was certainly a lot easier to keep up, and she was happy to learn even more. She took it seriously, but there were moments of levity to it. Small little flirtatious jokes. Smiles she had snuck Izumi. And more importantly: something new to focus on so she could get her stress out of her mind.
And finally, Aarna would heave a big sigh when it seemed like they were wrapping up and she looked over at Izumi, giving her a very sincere look. "This was... very nice. Thank you, Izumi. I'm sorry for having been..." Mehta searched for the words before just motioning idly and saying, "Bleeeeh... earlier." She shrugged, but gave a fond look to Tachibana.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Having a nice little training session with Aarna and getting a feel for how the woman truly was, both as a person and a competitor Izumi now knew what she wanted to do next, it was just a matter of how she asked. Chuckling a bit at the girl's apology Izumi waved it off. "No worries at all, I'm glad I seemed to have helped a bit. In fact, I'd love to make this a regular thing, maybe not even all training, perhaps a... dinner sometime would suffice, what do you think?" Izumi posed with a wink and flirting tone clear in her voice as she watched Aarna's body language and face for a reaction, whether verbal or non verbal.

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
Aarna Mehta took a towel and started to wipe down her face and chest with a smile, appreciating that the Japanese girl was willing to accept her apology on top of it all. The darker-skinned girl would then grab her water bottle, starting to down it as she then received something far more unexpected: a dinner invitation. Nearly choking on her water, Aarna coughed, covering her mouth with her towel as she was wide-eyed in surprise.
"You... um..." she started in a strained voice before clearing her throat. In a softer tone, Mehta waited a moment before answering, biting her lip as it curled into a smile. "...Yeah. Yes. I would... love a dinner, sometime." Brushing back her platinum hair, Aarna averted her gaze shyly away from Izumi. "Did you have a day... or place in mind?" asked Mehta, looking back up at Tachibana.
But then, she closed her eyes and shook her head. "I'm sorry, why am I asking you? My schedule is the one that sucks. I can--I could go get my phone and I could find some time that works, or... I mean, if we're done here, I guess," the Indian girl tried to explain, her mind running a mile a minute. "Or I might be misreading things? I don't know."

Re: Relaxation at the Gym
As expected Izumi's offer got a near anime esque reaction from Aarna as the Transcendent nearly spit out water from the invitation, which Izumi found positively adorable as she suppressed a giggle while letting Aarna get her initial words out, mind no double going a mile a minute. Stepping towards her while tossing her towel over her shoulder Izumi would reach two fingers up and place them over Aarna's lips to make her pause for just a moment while she spoke.
"Well as a matter of fact I did want to have something done before hand, namely..." Izumi said before pausing an d letting the words hand in the air to build up some suspense and anticipation from Aarna before continuing. "A rematch. You and me one more time. Loser pays for dinner. Should be easy enough to plan with using LAW no? Plus it'll help build up some... anticipation for later in the night." Izumi said vaguely with a wink before stepping back and pulling her arm away to get a answer from the silver haired woman in front of her.
