Cheryl Williams vs Megumi Mutoh - Apex Qualifier Match

Cheryl had been unable to pull away from the belly to belly suplex, dropping her to the mat and ending with Megumi right on top of her to keep on attacking her. She was still laying down when Megumi pushed her over, forcing her on her stomach so she could grab her wrists and wrap up her legs to hold her down while she would fall back and quickly use her into a painful surfboard stretch submission hold.

"Agghhh!!" Cheryl screamed as she was stretched out and forced into a painful surfboard that was keeping her from being able to move or escape. Shaking her head when the ref asked if she had enough she kept trying to force her way to freedom, she knew how to handle this hold and her best bet was seeking to force her arms free and break the grip on her wrists. Of course that was not something that just happened and would take some effort like this, but Cheryl had the will and know how and would pull to free her arms nonetheless.

Putting Cheryl in the surfboard stretch, Megumi would keep putting pressure into the hold in order to weaken her. Still, with the cheerleader trying to free her hands, it was hard for Megumi to maintain the hold for long. So, after a while, Megumi decided to relinquish the hold, freeing Cheryl from the surfboard stretch as she would let her fall face first onto the mat.

"You're pretty good, but can you handle this one?"

Megumi said to Cheryl as she would pick her up by her head, locking her in a front facelock. She was planning to hoist her up into a vertical position before driving her head first onto the mat with a brainbuster. She was planning to leave her totally disoriented and unable to fight, which would make it easier for the Combat Genius to win.

Cheryl shook and struggled in the hold as much as she could but she was locked in tight, it was when Megumi wanted her to stop being in the hold that Cheryl was finally freed and left to fall on her face. The mild groan leaving her lips as sh brought her freed arms to her she stayed down until Megumi came at her once more, grabbing her into a facelock and slowly going low, before lifting her arm up and sending her in the air for a brainbuster.

Cheryl's mind went into a panic and would kick at anything for freedom, even trying to slam a knee into Megumi's face to stop it before she would lean forward to get back to her feet, her last attempt was to try and elbow Megumi's back to make sure she couldn't follow up on this. Assuming she landed back on her feet she would try to pull Megumi's head in and hold it into a headlock.

Megumi tried to hoist Cheryl up in preparation for the brainbuster, but the cheerleader managed to hit her right in her face when she was about to execute the move, and her effort was thwarted. This allowed Cheryl to fall back down onto the mat, feet first before she trapped Megumi in the headlock.

"NGHH!!"

Still reeling from the knee to her face, Megumi was unable to free herself, though she would try to pry Cheryl's arm from her head in her effort to break free, but she might not be able to free herself immediately.

Cheryl had Megumi trapped, after escaping the brainbuster her arms secured the headlock and Megumi couldn't pull herself away from her. Now that she had something to work with Cheryl would hold it down to wear out Megumi's struggles before she could make a move to try something else, eventually she would try to turn her body while keeping the grip on her neck to drop her down with a neckbreaker.

"Okay now to start." Cheryl said once she brought Megumi to the floor, she would grab her arm and try to twist it back bending it so she could stretch out the limb and start to work on Megumi.

Megumi was trapped in the headlock, struggling to break free though she was currently reeling from the strike to her face earlier. Cheryl took this opportunity to execute her next attack, in which she retained her hold around Megumi's head before she turned her body around and hit her with a neckbreaker!

"UGKHH!!"

Megumi was rattled by the move. The backlash from the neckbreaker sent her down onto the mat. Disoriented, she was unable to stop the cheerleader from putting her into a hold where she started to target her arm. For the time being, Megumi couldn't stop her opponent, and she had to make do by enduring the pain from the hold.

It wasn't often someone could say that they had a girl like Megumi on the ropes and Cheryl was pulling on her arm and trying to force it to bend at an angle that would make it hard for Megumi to use it. She would keep it bent down and try to force it down on the mat at the angle before putting her foot down on top of it, it was obvious what she was about to do and she almost felt bad about it, but she couldn't be nice here when she was by herself.

"Sorry about your arm." Cheryl said before she would jump up and step on the arm sending it down to the mat while it was bent. It had to be uncomfortable but Cheryl would keep working on, grabbing it once more no matter if Megumi tried to protect it and trying to force it out and bend it again in an armbar which she would lay down on Megumi to try and torque further.

Still reeling from the neckbreaker, Megumi couldn't stop Cheryl from targeting her arm, and she groaned in pain as she began to feel the strain from the hold. When the cheerleader went to stomp on her arm, Megumi cried out loudly, the pain making it hard for her to think.

"NGYAAHHHH!!!"

Right after that, Cheryl continued targeting said arm, this time putting her into an armbar. For the time being, Megumi couldn't fight back, and she could only hope that she could outlast the hold with her own endurance.

Cheryl was feeling excited, Megumi was a tough wrestler but Cheryl was in the dominant position by going for her arm. So far so good, with some time and continued focus on the arm Megumi wouldn't be able to use it properly. If she could handicap the genius the experience advantage Megumi had would drop, Cheryl was starting to feel confident that she could get a submission from this. Her armbar hyperextended Megumi's limb while she torqued on it feeling Megumi attempt to endure the pain before Cheryl eased up on it, too long and Megumi would fight out, she had to keep her unable to guess what Cheryl would do next.

Cheryl started to turn the arm forcing it behind Megumi's back while she would force Megumi up to her feet. Soon after Cheryl would slide to the side, keeping her arms around Megumi's waist before running in and bringing Megumi into the turnbuckle to smash her arm against it. Cheryl would try to do this again before she pulled the arm over the ropes and pulled up, using the ropes to bend it even more.

Megumi continued enduring the hold, trying her best to not succumb to it. Gritting her teeth, she shook her head, denying her opponent her submission. When she was brought back up onto her feet, she was then brought towards the turnbuckle and had her arm smashed into it!

"UWAAGHHHH!!!"

Megumi cried out in pain. It left her unable to think, allowing Cheryl to pull her arms over the ropes, and at the moment, she was completely under the cheerleader's mercy.
