Trial of Courage! (Amano vs. Pieck)

"Uuug..." There was a small, biting pain at Amano's scalp, making her wince as she came to from the suplex. She got a quick glance at her surroundings, noting she was propped up on the ropes in a sitting position. "Jeez..." Yeah, this new girl was definitely the type that wanted to throw out some hard hits. And the Demon might start drawing blood at the rate things were going.

And just as she got her bearings together she finally saw her opponent at the other side of the ring, now barrelling right toward her. Amano's eyes widened. Shit! That flying kick was going to do more than just hurt if it connected, and Amano wasn't so out of it she couldn't dodge. So with rough finesse Amano yanked herself off the ropes and jerked herself to the side toward the turnbuckles, diving out of the way of the incoming dropkick.

It was more than obvious to everyone watching that Pieck was looking for blood. Despite not appearing as such, her movements would say otherwise. Not being able to land Titan Spear was not to big a detriment on Pieck. As she only slid through the ropes and stuck the landing. PHEW good thing you dodged that move. It would've hurt a lot Jokingly said to Amano, but that doesn't mean she would just stop there.

Pieck would jump onto the apron and see Amano at the turnbuckle, assuming she was not able to get into a good position. Pieck would quickly make her way to Amano, grabbing a hold of both ropes. Looking to use them as a way to propel herself forward, to launch her legs into Amano's chest.

"Tch," Okay, this chick was out for a fight alright. That suplex and kick hurt, but if that dropkick landed there'd be blood in the water. And the realization had Amano's yellow eyes narrow. Pieck's teasing tone only had the Demon sour as she pushed herself to her knees and turned her opponent's direction. She was far from done. Whiffing that kick didn't make her hesitate in the least, and she was rushing again.

"No way!" Amano brought her arms over her chest, wincing at Pieck slammed her legs into the Demon. "Grk!" Pieck kick hit Amano's arms hard, she was sent rolling to the other side of the ring.

But... she immediately rose back to her feet.

"Heh..." Her arms were bruised from the impact, but Amano had immediately rolled back from the hit, following the flow to lessen the impact. Took a bit of beating from it, but... she was far from out. "You'll have to try harder if you wanna' take me down!"

Pieck didn't quite land the way she wanted on Amano. Instead of caving her chest in, Amano got away with a bruised arm. Getting back on her feet from the position, Pieck would smile away at Amano. You sure like to talk, I don't think that should be your focus Pieck said to Amano who said Pieck needed to try harder.

Not wanting to fall for the bait, Pieck would simply put her arms up. Hoping to get Amano into a simple grappling contest, that way she would have a better chance to react to Amano.

Aw, she didn't buy it. Guess taunting the new girl wasn't going to work. No, her opponent wanted to make a statement and demand some old-fashion grappling. And... Amano could handle that. She smirked, raising her arms in a mirroring stance as she inched forward. "You're right," She said, a wide grin on her face. Lemme' show you how a demon wrestles~ She inched closer and closer to Pieck, her hands just short of locking with her opponent.

And then she changed directions.

Rather than clasp hands with the fighter, Amano instead went just a touch lower and aimed to grab at the straps of Pieck's crop top to pull her into a harsh headbutt. Some repeated headbutts if she could get away with it.

Pieck was expecting one hundred different moves Amano could've went for. Most of them ended in a grappling session, so when Amano inched closer ro Pieck she felt that her prediction was right. But this was not any normal match, so when Amano grabbed onto Pieck's clothing it surprised her. Getting pulled in for a harsh headbutt. GAH! Pieck let out, with a stream of blood coming from her nose.

Not wanting to get her face pelted with headbutts, Pieck would also grab onto Amano. Leaning backwards and falling on the mat, still holding onto Amano. Pieck placed her foot on Amano's stomach and wanted to flip her over. This move would create enough space for Pieck to wipe her face. Reaffirming what type of match this was.

"Hah!" Gods, it felt good to get that headbutt it. A bit of revenge after taking those earlier hard knocks gave the Demon a surge of energy and excitement, especially noting that Pieck seemed surprised by the act. Not exactly a move in the Aikido handbook, but if it worked in her death match it'd work here too. And the sight of blood trickling down Pieck's face turned Amano's smile to an almost lustful grin. More!

"Waa-" But before she could go for another ram Pieck wised up, snatching up Amano's kimono top and dragging them both down. From the way Pieck was going Amano might be able to mount her, but... then she pressed her foot against her stomach, and Amano's eyes widened. She knew this move, it was something Himeko had always used her one before in their spars. Shit- "Waaah!" And she pushed right off before even touching the ground. Though if there was any solace in being familiar with the move it was that she could brace for it a little. "Urh!" Yeah... it hurt, but Amano could up on her knees in quick order and collect herself, watching Pieck try and wipe the blood off, smirking. There's more where that came from.

Now that Pieck was back on her feet, she needed to be careful with Amano's moves. Not wanting to get caught out by another move like that. Pieck would hop in place for a moment, as if to get her blood flowing. Taking a deep breath, Pieck would sprint towards Amano. Making it seem like she was aiming to kick Amano in the face, instead Pieck would baseball slide under and through Amano's legs.

If the maneuver worked, now behind Amano. Pieck would throw out an elbow to the back of Amano's knee to knock her down. Allowing Pieck to spring herself back up, and in one fluid motion kick Amano in the back of the head.

And Pieck was back up in no time, still a bit of blood dotting her outfit and floor under her. The sight in itself had the Demon grinning as she rose up as well. The fighter shook off the hit well enough, better than Amano would had figured. But the fight was far from over, and Pieck came in hot with a kick straight for Amano. Too obvious~ The Demon smirked, readying to catch and counter the kick coming her way. "Aah-!" Only for nothing to connect and see Pieck dive down low instead of going high. "Grh," Another fake out, this one almost immediately getting Amano knocked right to one knee from a sharp elbow from behind. "Grah!" And quickly followed an even sharper kick that had Amano seeing stars for a moment.

"Aaah..." Amano let out a sharp hiss, clutching the back of her head to soothe the pain.

Pieck went for a risky move and it seemed to work just like she wanted. Amano was tricked by Pieck's sliding and was able to take her down with the elbow. All culminating in Pieck being able to kick Amano in the back of the head. This kick likely leaving Amano dazed, it was surprising to Pieck that she was even standing after it. Nonetheless her offensive would continue. Getting a hold of Amano's shoulders, Pieck would jump into the air. Throwing herself backwards, hoping to land on the canvas while crashing Amano's back into her knees for a reverse codebreaker.
