A Do-Over: Rose Matsumoto vs Xiuying Sun

Rose was adamant with her application of the single-leg crab, trying to apply as much pressure as she could until the referee tapped her shoulder. Rose looked behind and saw that Xiuying had managed to reached the bottom rope to force the break and Rose sighed as she released the hold and backed away to give her opponent some space.

Xiuying felt the pressure that Rose was placing on her lower back increase as she crawled towards the ropes as she grasped it with one hand as she did not have to wait long for the referee to act. As within seconds the ref would make it clear that Rose was to release her as she rubbed her back with her other hand as she grasped onto the top rope with her other hand as she slowly pulled herself onto her feet.

Rose tightened the crab as much as she could until she got the tap on the shoulder from the referee, telling her that Xiuying made it to the ropes. Rose clicked her tongue and released the hold, backing away to give her opponent some time to recover.

Xiuying had the ropes grasped tightly into her hands as she was hearing the ref telling Rose to release her. As she would pull herself up as she smirked at her opponent as she took her time to stand up as she wondered if the other woman would call her out on it.

Rose watched as Xiuying took her sweet time getting back to her feet. With a raised brow, she waiting until her opponent was at a complete vertical base before walking towards her with her arms outstretched to grab her.

Rose fell for the trap, the sharp heel of Xiuying catching Rose on the jaw and dropping the former idol on to the mat. Rose groaned as she cupped her sore chin, cursing herself mentally for not seeing the attack sooner as she looked to roll onto her knees to recover.

Before Rose could offer a rebuttal to the taunt, Xiuying slammed a knee into her face, sending the former idol onto her back a she kicked her legs from the pain.
